Sir, I am suffering from pilonidal since last one year. And I do not have any pain, I just feel a little abnormal and I do not want to undergo surgery and I have never got any diagnosis done from any good surgeon nor an MRI. If surgery is necessary then what should I do? After watching this video, I got to know a lot about pilonidal sinus. Thank you. If I need to get surgery done from you, then where and how should I do it?
Patient presented with hair tuft inside the sinus. It was just one linear tract and all the hair was easily pulled out of the tract. Should it have undergone bascom or antibiotics in such case are sufficient?
Didn’t u notice the abscess cavity and the 2 granuloma developed around the lateral aspect of the cleft… I practice my own version of Excision,which is a modification to the classic Bascom.. Antibiotics have to be given for 3-4 weeks unless a secondary healing supervenes ..
