I am gonna say something which most of you guys wont agree on: Counterpicking doesnt exist! Lets say you play genji and they play zarya, moira and sym then they dont counter you they just counter you deflect but you still can shoot at them and kill them your deflect will just be usless against them but you arent getting counterpicked! There is no such thing as counterpicking in ow and to prove my point just watch awkward who uploaded videos where he plays d.va vs zarya who should "counter" d.va or doom into sombra, ana and hog and he still wins. (And sry if my english is bad not a native english speaker)

As a Rein Main i've got more problems against good junkrats than good bastions, also if sym hasnt already set up shop (at which point shes good against most heroes), i think its kinda the opposite, i'd rather say rein is the counter to sym.

2:23 Reaper hasn't been much of an issue when playing Mauga but then again I've played only like what 20 games with him? Edit: Echo is a pretty good counter. Hanzo has been, "meh" Mei has been a good counter. I haven't encountered the last DPS as Mauga yet. Edit 2: Ah, I forgot this is pre-nerf Reaper.

Characters like symethra,mei and bastion are just insane when its about the tanks,but against most dps ther are just bad tbh

About ball i would say mei is more menacing then bastion, every her ability can slow down ball movment (exepct icicle). Movement on ball is live, so i would add junkrat with his trap. Its aint a good counterpick but if trap will be place good and you get caught, its basically insta death

I struggle playing against winston even when I play reaper (I main reaper). winston is just so fast, and the bubble sheild is so hard for me to deal with.

As a ball main, Im not entirely sure about bastion being a counter. Bastion has poor mobility and can easily be flanked and disrupted by ball, granting a quick kill from behind due to bastions crit hitbox or at the very least cancelling out his turret form. On the sombra note, absolutely sombra kinda just ruins the hamsters day.

Do you know if you can reflect another Rein's firestrike as Rein? I think I saw a message pop op on my screen when I launched the game that mentioned a new ability like that. Maybe I'm trippin haha.

NO way is bastion a soft counter pick to Orisa. HE is an EASY kill with Orisa anytime. Symetra is a hard counter

Saying that you should not shoot at zarya bubble is the single worst advice you can give in zarya matchup

Bastion doesn't counter Doom. As Doom mobility rate is high which is almost non existent for Bastion. He can block and get his punch quick if played right.

Somb can take down everyone includin DPS n supps

If the counters always are mei, zym, bastion, reaper. Does not look like a hard to think list

As a reinhardt player, i think that bastion isn't that much of a counter, his low mobility makes him a easy target to reinhardt skills, so everytime a bastion tries to kill me, i just charge at him and kill him easily I think that reaper and sombra are much more effective against rein, cause of their ways to quickly dodge him (but well, those can be counter to basically everything in this game because of how busted they are)

I found out that against platinum players torb can do a lot to a mauga. Overload with secondary fire can do a ton of damage & molten core in his cage fight ultimate makes mauga the one that's actually trapped. Also i feel like it's really easy to get headshots on him. The only downside is that your turret becomes useless so you'll have to put it in really specific spots that are hard to shoot at that has environmental cover. Sojurn is also pretty good against ball since it's so easy to charge her weapon with such a big target & you just slide away from most of his damage (depending on the map)
