Lots of misinformation. You lost credibility once you got the capacity and attendances wrong.
It's only 17k because of all the terraces, it would be 10k if it was all seated.
As a Claret I have sone find memories of Carlisles Brunton Park. Best wishes for the future
It will be modern but will still have that old look which is good
I totally agree @fredfox
Ohh and after 3 games they are now top of League One! Well, let's just say that if they get promoted this season to the Championship, they will become a team who could potentially build on a long term plan to reach the Premier League... maybe within a decade or so that is. They need to grow their fanbase larger first of all. Unfortunately, there is an exceptionally strong glass ceiling almost preventing them from achieving Premier League status in just a few seasons and keep climbing like they have done the past few seasons. Even if they win League One by a large margin this season, they'd still very likely be in a relegation battle in their first Championship season.
Lazy video, no research done clearly
Dude, I don't like to criticize people on-line, but outside of Sunderland, which is indeed beautiful and classic, your choices are pure dreck. Bootle looks like a US state police badge, ugly as sin. Willand is beyond ugly, the pirate is awful and that ball is too big in proportion to the figure, large as it may be. That Henry VIII badge looks like it belongs on a tin of crackers, Lincoln City is vomit inducing, and the rest are just plain boring or stupid. Be grateful that Sunderland saved you from a total fiasco.
The arsenal one is simple and effective and harks back to their south london roots.
Shock, another poor video with no research done
a lot of united and city supporters will be going to county soon because the manchester clubs are taking the piss with thier 75 pound a ticket charges
Respect for picking the mighty Braintree Town! I co-created the badge in 1986. There has always been a floodlight pylon on the badge, although originally it more closely resembled our slim set of 1967 Christy Bros. classic pylons. We still have them! I agree about the ball. It was originally panelled, but the club has changed it a number of times over the years. The badge you have used is the pre-2010 one. The only difference nowadays is that the lettering is orange. The factory design relates to the roof of the Crittall Windows Garage that used to be alongside the pitch, until the 1980's.....we were born as the works team of the world famous Crittall Windows, suppliers to every art deco building, and icons such as the Titanic. Until 1967 we were known as Crittall Athletic, and then Braintree & Crittall Athletic until 1981. I'm pretty sure that the blue and white kit on the wonderful Sheffield badge relates to their original colours, not Hallam F.C.
WOLVES , by a million miles !!!
"big club"! Not quite yet. Still have to win league and get back to potentially becoming a "big club". American fans WILL aid that. Ive only just joined the following from London & looking fwd. Manager & Owners are decent ppl.
great to see Willand on this list
Willand is a village team playing in the 8th tier of English football
Apparently the C U on the Cambridge badge is also a nod to the fans that the club sees them.
Looks like someone at Yeovil has discovered Canva
Yeovil Town's nickname is The Glovers and they are aren't hands on the badge but gloves
Cambridge: why an old fashion football though? Yeovil: looks very Christian. Aston Villa: Yuk...keep last years roundel design. Scunthorpe: The original badge is in the top ten of badges. So cool. The new one for the season? Looks like Hulk breaking free...a bit Marvel comic.
Stoke City are another club changing their logo
Wait is that actually offical. there is no way they can change it to this crap!!!
Yeovil Town is a massive upgrade. It looks better on everything. It’s easier to put on digital, it’s clear what club it is and relatively simple. It fits the old rule “can a 3rd grader draw it and you know who it is when they do”
It takes away all the character
Congratulations Stockport….look forward to watching many Wrexham vs Stockport Matches in their rebuilt Stadiums from here in the states
Would love to but we were promised a temporary stand when we got promoted to league one but the owner of the stadium won’t allow it and if we brought the stadium he’s said he wants the car park meaning we cannot even build it even if we buy it
I’d like Sunderland to change there’s to the old pre 1997 badge from the Roker Park Days still containing elements from the now badge like the black cats the wheel on top and so on
Personally I think sunderland may well have the best badge in the efl. Its unique and the shape of the lions are really cool
As a Brighton fan I love to see clubs come back from the brink and become a better club than they were. I used to go to the goldstone as kid and withdean during my late teens and 20s both them stadiums capacities combined is over 10000 seats short of the Amex (goldstone 12000 when it closed, withdean 8500 and the Amex 31800!!) and now it still feels like I support a different team as we now are going into our season and here is our league Positions 15th,17th,15th,16th,9th,6th,11th. During this time we have played in 2 FA cup semi finals and we got into the europa league finished top of the group of death which was as follows Ajax Marseille and AEK Athens. We drew Roma in the 2nd round and lost 4-0 away but we beat them 1-0 at Amex. So dream big as I never thought we would get into the premier league and stay for at least 8 8 years and 2 semi finals and a place in Europe. I like the capacity of the ground as it’s ambitious but not too big as no disrespect but you are competing in a area with at least 8 teams around you within 30 miles but if you get into the championship you will regularly sell 15000 attendances and would fill it comfortably in the premier league. There is nothing worse than seeing a stadium in the premier league half filled if you had a 35000 all seater stadium but if you were to make it to the premier league and you stay there for say 3 seasons and there is a long wait for season tickets the corners can be filled which would easily add 5000 to the capacity which would see the capacity rise to a respectable 23500. But for the time being 18500 would be amazing and will set you up is perfect for the championship and even if you did make it to the premier league this stadium would be bigger than both Brentford (17500 and Bournemouth 12250) good luck and see you in the premier league soon 😊😊
Lincoln City another team who're changing their logo
I'd rather just not bother with a temporary 4th stand and focus on getting a new ground for 2026
Another Lincoln fan here. Carlisle away is always a good trip out. Good to see Brunton Park getting some investment. Hopefully some improved facilities and revenue opportunities while retaining the wonderful character of the ground.
Villa always make terrible badges for some reason
A proper British football stadium!!! Modern and with all the British football stadium features!!!🏴❤🇬🇧⚽🏴
Oxford fan we need to move
We should buy the whole Kassam stadium complex instead of this daft idea for a new stadium in the middle of nowhere,it is situated in the middle of potential 20000 customers within walking distance, the new plot is too small and the cost would be too great....get into a disscussion with the owner and make him an offer .
Mate,I'm from bbleys and love the ground being here, Kidlington is not a good Idea
Offer kassam 🤔12 million? it's actually the land is worth more
daft new idea? it's an amazing idea lad fuck the Kassam stadium and Kassam.
The triangle is a bigger plot than Brentfords ...AND....Brentfords stadium is bigger Anyway...the present stadium is in the wrong place... the standard of build is poor We must leave
@@paddy2369is that the reason you want it to stay....because its close for you???
We literally can’t build one? We don’t own the stadium, the owner of the ground won’t let us. I don’t understand how you did 0 research or spoke to a single Oxford fan. Jesus wept
No they are moving!
Hope my club has the same intent to improve their ground .Barnsley seously needs to.make their grove street stand up to modern day standards. Good luck with the ground improvement. Where the supporters come first
Posh supporter here, with a soft spot for County since our Wembley play-off win in 1992. Well done for coming back from the National League North (where Peterborough Sports now play) and for your Stadium aspirations. Enjoy the League One season ahead.
I reckon sheffield wednesday
Why aren’t they developing the empty end first? And why is there one little block of white seats on it?? It’s always puzzled me.
The empty end is barely used. Except if we have large crowds or the away fans bring a huge support. The redevelopment to the east stand includes corporate boxes so it brings more money into the club.
@@scottwalker4619 Interesting. So it is used occasionally? I stood there in the 1980s to see Reading. Am I right in thinking the slight misalignment of the east stand was due to a plan to move the whole ground along a bit when Michael Knighton was there? Do Carlisle fans remember him well? Or not so well?
@@Nobby1961x Yeah it is used occasionally. Usually when bigger clubs come and bring more than they can fit into the seated area. You’re correct about the alignment. The plan was to pull the rest of the stadium back to align with the east stand. Knighton had big plans for the club and he is well remembered but not tor good reasons. He’s hated by the majority of Carlisle fans for financially ruining the club. I was only a kid at the time but I remember all the “Knighton Out” car stickers and stuff. Think he also got banned from owning a football club after that as well
@@scottwalker4619 It’s reassuring to know Carlisle fans recognise him for what he was. Sounds like new owners offer a much better future.
Good luck Stockport,an Great colours from a scouse evertonian
UTFT✊️💙💙✊️
18/19 thousand is far too big for them and it’s highly likely that the cost of the redevelopment could realistically ruin them.
Get 10k each week
Not if we face big teams in league one and championship plus we sell out right now so need it
As a Brentford fan I can testify that miracles do happen. Good luck Stockport!
More than the stadium itself County is a lovely, friendly club, and they also play good football. I’ve seen the planned redevelopment and wish everyone connected with the club every success.
It was half empty anyway . So why expand it.
We sell out you melt just sold out season tickets aswell su
Melt ?;Your from Stockport I guess so why come out with the old cockney twang ?
Good luck Stockport from your noisy neighbour City.
Nice ,good luck stockport
Unfortunately, you have not really researched this to a sufficient level to make informed comments on the stadium situation. Look again at the licence situation under which OUFC play at the Kassam. It's not a lease, it does expire in 2026. The 4th stand could, and should have been constructed by the owner of the stadium, Kassam. He failed to do so and went as far as denying the club a previous application for a temporary 4th stand. OUFC have never owned the stadium, it will never be their decision that matters in deciding upon a 4th stand. The Capacity of the ground is not 12,500. Due to required segregation and the design flaws of the North Stand, the capacity is limited to a much lower figure. Very poor.
things wont change with a new stadium....do you really think we will be using it rent free?? will be the same set up but higher rent.......READ up on our present owner and his involvement in DC United......he is attempting a copy of that idea.....the Kassam/ozone complex is perfect for our club and its future ....all that is needed is negotiation....i do believe we will eventually stay where we are and buy the lot......most of what we need is already in place ...a new stand with supporters club incorporated, fill in the corners, refurbish the priory ....we would have a 25000 capacity and places for away and home supporters to have a beer etc....all this and surrounded by at least 50/60000 possible customers within walking distance a train station which would please the council and allieviate cowley road traffic problems....whats there NOT to like????? kassam can of course keep his migrant hotels .
@@pauldesmond3269 Oh dear.
Great news and great to see them on the up again, best of luck, toon fan
Educated yourself, we don't own the place, it's not ours,we pay extortionate rent to play there, hence why we are moving and building a new one which will be ours
errrrr....how do you think it will be ours??? it will be the same situation as Ka$$am....out of the frying pan and into the fire.....do you really think the new owner is Santa claus?? i suggest you read up on our new owner and type DC United into google......this is what he is attempting to replicate....
dream on.....the new owner will own the stadium and will be charging even MORE rent to cover the cost......you watch...it will be different companies renting to different companies like firoka does now
Interesting what you have picked, myself not gonna disagree to your list.as I have many badges it would be hard for me to pick a ten.allthough I do like my Henley fc.
