Campfire Safety
Did you know that 90% of forest fires are man made? Care to take a guess at how many campfires are left hot and burning by campers on a daily basis? Well, as Camp Hosts who have become the first line of defense against this hazard, we can tell you that number is much higher than you probably think. Whether campers are improperly preparing their site for a campfire, using wood too large for the fire ring, have become complacent, or just don’t know how to safely extinguish a campfire, these mistakes are hazardous and place the lives of those within their campsite, and the campground, the forest and its wildlife in danger. In this video, we’re going to cover all that to better help campers safely enjoy a campfire. Because let’s be honest… camping just isn’t the same without a campfire! 👍🏼

Fixing a Broken RV T Handle

Replacing the RV Toilet Seal

Brand new owner of a new to me RV. Even tho it is being stored in an area with no electric and water hook up, it needs cleaned!! We have a propane outside burner to heat water, wash hands etc. But couldn't figure out how to empty the gray water tank (nothing nasty, just soapy water) for this very reason. Thanks so much for this easy fix!! Only one question...are the pulls a standard size?

I really enjoyed your review, straight to the point! I'm looking at this machine, my local Canadian Tire store stocks the whole line up, and currently with my work it looks like I may have to sleep in my truck for 4-5 days a week, my question is would this machine power my laptop, plus a heated blanket and a 12v heater, all at the same time? the laptop is 180W, the blanket plugs into a cigarette port and hardly uses any power from what I could tell using it already, and the heater I haven't really tested but its a 12v cig port plug in as well and its tiny fits in my cup holder. So would it power all 3 at once, and for how many hours? I'd probably need the laptop for 2 hours max each night (4-5 days) and the heater and blanket probably for 8-10 hours each night.

Thanks for the honest review! I'm considering the job. As a seasoned camper and festival enthusiast, I think those footprints are left by people (mostly, women) who don't want to sit on the dirty seat, thus making the seat actually dirty whereas it was ok before ;)

As far as the toilet paper in the trash can goes, it might be cultural as well. Many countries around the world don't have adequate plumbing to flush paper and people throw TP in trash cans in those countries. I'm not saying this is 100% the reason but just may be. My inlaws did this when they visited the US the first time. We let them know.

One thing we ve been noticing is that parents let their children go play unsupervised. The youngeest we saw was a 3 year old riding his bike on a path that had at least 5 exitways to kidnap a kid . If parents think campgrounds are immune to this type of disaster think. Now this is not lack of camping etiquette but im saying this to create awareness

We always tried to camp where there was cellphone coverage just in case of an emergency. If you aren't in cell range, know where you need to drive to get a signal. Also, we always traveled with a first aid kit for emergencies. If you're at a campground and you have any concerns notify the camp host immediately. If it's an emergency call 911. Thanks for watching and happy camping. 👍🏼
