In answer to a question posed in chat: Yes, the other weather options on the Bamz Amschend machine do work. After I finished Tribunal, I left a mark there so I could change the weather whenever I felt like it. I love fog and rainy weather (both of which are options on the machine), so I like being able to do that in games.

By the way, when you jump from one high up level in vivec to a lower one, if you land on one of the buttresses/upright structures and slide down, then jump off to the lower level, you won't take damage (shorter fall distance). Not as good for training acrobatics though (I guess no pain no gain applies to morrowind)

there's a mod called Poison Crafting that lets you make poisons and apply them to weapons, but its MWSE only.

Funnily enough, the barrow with all of the piles of gold and treasure laying around is called "Gyldenhul Barrow", which translates to "Golden Hollow/Hole"... quite fitting for a place loaded with treasure. You can actually get the key as a reward for a side quest on Solstheim. And during the course of that quest, you can meet an NPC who is a seer with unique dialogue that hints at Oblivion's plot. Gyldenhul Barrow also shows up in Dragonborn, but unfortunately I don't think it has any references to Bloodmoon or anything other than being a recurring location.

4:25:30 comprehensive voice acting is one of the worst things to ever happen to rpgs. not only does it bloat files size, budgets, and add nothing for me (like you said we just skip it) but its one of the primary reasons oblivion and skyrim are so small scale compared to morrowind. lack of voice acting and other immersion based nonsense is why we get to have awesome stuff like PTR expansions.

Also, from what I understand (and I could be wrong), most predatory animals sleep so much in order to conserve energy. Herbivores need to stay awake cause they need to keep eating and also not get eaten. Carnivores can get away with eating less cause meat and fat are more calorie-dense than (most) vegetation so each meal satisfies them for longer. But, hunting costs more energy than grazing/foraging, as does recovering from injuries sustained from said hunts. So, carnivores spend most of their time snoozin to make sure they have as much energy as they can for hunting.

Which of the joinable factions in MW is your favorite? The only ones I've done all the quests for are House Redoran and the Fighter's Guild so I can't really form an opinion
