I was really considering playing Daggerfall myself, but after seeing all the struggle, the need for a walkthrough and bugs you encountered, I have come to the conclusion that seeing your playthrough is enough Daggerfall for me! 😅
yeah daggerfall is one of those games for sure. its age definitely makes it very hard to get into, even more so than morrowind. it's *very* systems-based and plays very much like a "make your own tale in this sandbox" game.
The unity version actually does a very good job getting past the game breaking stuff. Also a lot of customization options. If you ever decide to try it go with that, I'd say
I love Daggerfall but actually trying to complete the campaign is a minefield+slog. Big fan of the unity version reducing all the mess getting in the way
Quest Design and Dungeon Design was always something Daggerfall got criticized for. Even Arena had better dungeon crawling, and while absurdly repetitive the quest design was easier to follow. Daggerfall is a product of ambition without the resources to tackle it and it's kinda always been that way for these titles. The results get better with time because technology gets better with time, but they never grow beyond or improve their issues I feel as game designers. They just simplify rather than refine.
I have several of the same color shirt. For whatever reason, it's the charcoal colored Tshirts that last longer than similar solid-color shirts. I think they're a cotton-poly blend. They're also more comfortable than 100% cotton. I do have some darker charcoal shirts I wear every now and then.
Pretty much anyone living in a city is doomed if any form of apocalypse happens. Most of y'all wouldn't last 2 weeks with all the looting and chaos, not to mention finding enough area to grow anything. Most of us rural folks will want nothing to do with all of you slowly flooding our land. You guys would have to find abandoned land and figure it out yourselves. We all would be too concerned for our own lives and families. Not saying this to be mean but just telling you the truth.
love your content bro! so relaxing and engaging
Daggerfall is the only game where a regular-ass enemy is genuinely scary. Those fucking skeletons dude, jesus christ.
One of my favorite Morrowind streamers now becoming my favorite Daggerfall streamer
He's a runescape streamer 😤
