Any idea how to add a rolling resistance force?
In this case the wheels are rolling against the friction between road and wheel, i.e I have indirectly applied rolling friction. If the wheels were to slide over road, it would have been sliding friction
@FUNCADwithMrROBOT rolling resistance is a different concept than the one you are referring to.
Perfect thanks :)
Thanks! I'm glad that you liked it 😊
How mich it weighs
It depends on the material which is assigned to it.
@FUNCADwithMrROBOT for hard plastic
what kind of suspension would this be?
This is an independent double wishbone suspension system.
So nice sir

How tyre came into contact with road when they both did not have any mates?
Tyre and road have 'solid body contact' defined. Due to gravity the tyre will touch the road and contact will be established
Can you give me this design?
Email me on funwithcad2020@gmail.com and I will share the files with you
@@FUNCADwithMrROBOT i need the file as soldiwork design
i had a doubt in my project i am creating circle but in creating circle command which is as followed Set skSegment = Part.SketchManager.CreateCircle(0#, 0#, 0#, xod / 2, 0#, 0#) here in these line it says type mismatch i had set xod as double also set its value in the textbox any idea for the solution?
It seems correct. However can you check once the declaration of skSegment? Does your code have this line: Dim skSegment as Object ?
so good! I want to ask. I set linear motor frontwards, bit why my car is running backwards
Correct positioning of motor is important. Also you can check if gravity or any other force is defined correctly.
Bhaiya muzai solidworks animation ki full course ki video khan par milegi plz help me .

hey, how can you choose the mass of the ball plz
Hello, you can choose the mass by changing the density, or you can directly change to mass properties
Thanks, Another question : rather than springs, do you think it’s could be possible (on Solidworks) to create a launcher with 2 (or 3) wheels turning and sending the ball during the contact between the ball and the wheels . (Plz Tell me if I did not make myself clear) I work on this project but I would prefer to be sure if it’s doable…
Hello, is it possible for you to include the model you use in the download link so that I can work with you?
Hello, I can share the model but I want to ask that how do you intent to work with me?
Hello, is it possible for you to include the model you use in the download link so that I can work with you?🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺
Hello, I can share the model but I want to ask that how do you intent to work with me?
thanks
Do share it with your friends!
this is okay but where is the spring visible in assembly
Spring feature won't be visible in the assembly as the feature is for motion study purpose. The tutorials which usually show spring in an assembly are just sweep over a helix curve.
Spring won't be visible in the assembly, just as a motor is not visible in motion study
Please sir can you mentor me to be a better designer?
Unfortunately I can't be your mentor, but I suggest you to follow my videos for design tips
Great video! You saved me some anguish and a computer monitor because I was ready to smash mine from out of frustration.
Thanks! Glad I could help!
This video shouldn't be played so fast. Even slowing down, it goes very fast. :(
Hello, the first sketches and sweeps are slow, and later on they are fast forwarded as it is a repetitive task. The idea of the video is to show the technique rather than step by step tutorial.
Hi, great video. Is there anyway to access the Solidworks assembly for the Formula student RACE CAR. It's for a University Project and would be really handy if I can access them. Thank you.
Hello, I have received your email as well. I will share the files over the weekend.
@@FUNCADwithMrROBOT That’s great. Thank you so much. Appreciate it.
This video is very interesting and best tutorial I have about spring Mate 😊
Thank you so much 😊 I am glad that you liked it.
Nice work, can i have this cad model?
Hi, yes you can have this car model. Please drop an email at funwithcad2020@gmail.com and I will send the CAD file.

same me to ill need it for a school project @@FUNCADwithMrROBOT
plz share the link of video where u made a car and road
Hi Chetan, currently there is no such video where I have created this car and road. However it is very simple to create. Make a sketch of car/road outline on front plane and then simply extrude it. Hope it helps.
Thank you Steven Hawking :)
I am glad that you liked it, thanks 😊
Hi, i have a question, why does my car it’s very rigid when falling on the base, it doesn’t bounce really good :(
Hello, there can be multiple issues for your situation 1. The spring parameters are not correctly set according to your car model 2. The car body may be a very big solid mass, try to make it hollow and then try your motion study 3. The assembly may not be properly mated You can make trials for multiple spring values to check which one suits your model
Hi, i have a question, why i can’t made coincident de lower arm, just let me do it concentric :/
Hello, I think it might be due to the fact that the two curves are not of same dimension. That's why only concentric mate is allowed.
no reallity in the assumption
Every simulation starts with certain assumptions and then the model is tuned for real conditions
if no bumpingg road assumed why springs worked
There is a term called sprung mass in any vehicle, and the springs come into action during acceleration or deceleration of these masses.
hello, what is the name of the module of SOLIDWORKS?
Hello, I have used 'SolidWORKS Motion' add-in. Is this answering your question or did you mean something else?
Amazing tutorial, subscribed, thank you so much 🙏🙏🙏
Awesome, thank you to you too😊😊
Hi, will it work, if we directly macro run on solid works, it is not working when i directly run that macro?
Hi, the macro shown in the video will work after you launch SolidWORKS and open a part template. You can share the error/issue images which you are facing at funwithcad2020@gmail.com
Hi ! thank you for this interesting animation. How did you define the dummy please ? I mean the contact/connection/joint between his body parts
Hello, I haven't used any technical standards for modelling the dummy. I have approximately modelled the individual body parts and mated it using simple coincidence mates. I can e-mail you the dummy model if you want.
@@FUNCADwithMrROBOT hi thank you. I sent you an email
@@FUNCADwithMrROBOT Can you give me your email ? TH-cam keep deleting my comments .. :(
Is there a reason why not to just mirror everything at the end and make 1/2 of the car?
Hello, there is no specific reason to not make half car. However, I think it would have taken same amount of time in this case to build half car or full car. Also, while making half car, I need to be sure to make splines properly so that I don't have a unwanted center line on the final car.
@@FUNCADwithMrROBOT Thanks for the explanation!
Make video on soildworks animation full tutorial
Thanks for suggestion, I will make a full tutorial. Can you let me know if there is any specific point which you want in the tutorial?

Do we need to mate tyre with road?
Hello @haidiranwar1406 , we need not mate tyre with the road. In my motion study, I have not mated it and the car is moving in forward direction purely because of motors.
the background of the sticker is turning gray paint please help
