hey got the same engine a18exr in a vauxuall insignia 1.8 changed thermostat but its overheating the airlock is very stubborn it just overflows. changed reservoir cap and new cap same problem. no co2 found did the test what could it be.

I am having the same problem with a smoking starter. I was thinking the starter solenoid is staying engaged but it's a new starter. So I wss going to change out the starter relay, but thanks to your video, I will check out the wiring at the relay first.

You didn’t show a damn thing.

It does not mean "never closed." It means "normally closed" as opposed to "normally open".

The purge valve on the original reservoir snaps off over time the new reservoir has a new design to prevent.

It seems to me "injector pulse width" PID shows the command by the computer (desired value) and is not an actual measured value at the injectors. I am guessing that if you disconnect injector number 4, the values will not change, unless the computer detects a misfire on cylinder 4 and intentionally shuts down injector 4. I know that the 2014 Jeep Patriot will shut down both spark and injectors if it detects a misfire on a particular cylinder.

This video showed that killing one injector will stall the engine. But will disconnecting one injector cause a no-start?

Could it be the seal around the spark plug hole tho and your just blowing air through the cover 🤔?? Not saying I'm rite bit could possibly give you wrong diag correct or no?

I just replaced a blown head gasket and it is overheating. What do you think?

Also check the throttle body coolant in and outlet and hose . Those can clog up and reduce the efficiency of flow

Had the same problem once before on my 2019 Chevy Trax, same exact 1.4L Ecotec engine. Water pump gave out on me at 52K miles (free replacement under warranty). I've gotten the water pump replaced after that.

I watched many videos as I have an issue on my 2012 odyssey mounts. This video added a lot of info and made it seem easy to do. For the front mount, removing the battery tray and accessing the front mount from that angle looks great. I have more confidence now to tackle my mounts. Thank u so much.

Your head is already warped when the engine warms up the heat pulls the center of the head up just enough to let the compression into the cooling system.

I had bubbling in the reservoir. I changed the thermostat and a heat sensor. But it kept doing it. I had air int je system. I had to empty the radiator from the bottom. I bought a new reservoir . Before putting new coolant in. There is a white screw / plug on the radiator topright passenger side unscrew that add coolant slowly. When coolant comes out the hole. Plug up hole and turn on car keep an eye on the reservoir add slowly until filled between min and max.

I just had this nightmare. I fixed the thermostat and got air in my system. I had to flush the radiator and on passenger side top of radiator there is a plug/ screw open that. Add coolant slowly until coolant leaks thru radiator screw back plug. Turn on car and watch level. I also got a new reservoir. And it's good to go

I appreciate ur thoroughness had a guy who did my mounts and took off my fan assembly and couple screws were rusted on bottom so he just left it dangling so th fan has been shaking,I jacked it up and put couple screws in 2 arms attached to fan and bottom tray of radiator I shimed them alil and drilled fo screws and shaking has stopped like th idea of removing battery tray thsnk you emano
