We have never seen Yardie Creek so dry which is lucky for you guys . We have seen many a vehicle with a caravan , camper trailer or a plain 4wd stuck fast in the water passing through from the creek to the ocean . Anyway what a superb way to spend 2 weeks , enjoy yourselves and thanks for the ride along with you . PS over the years its has been a spectator sport watching people trying to cross Yardie Creek .
Yer Iknow how you feel Brad when it comes to boat motors and trying to trust them each time you go out on the water and them playing up on you, it is frustrating but great to hear that you resurrected it in the next episode! Looking forward ro seeing that one, and nice that you got to catch up with Sarah and Kerlan as well, we follow them on YT and love there vids as well! Cheers phil
Thanks Phil, was pretty frustrating trying to get it sorted. Especially being off grid - thank god for starlink 🙌 Thanks so much for your support on our videos 😀
Hey guys, hoping you can get this engine repaired so you can continue your adventures, remembering you are full time, seeing how much you have used big red in short time it may also be worth looking at new engine if this one is a lemon, weigh up the costs of repairs vs new, it’s time we buy you a beer. The content on the ocean is great part of experience for you, and us couch surfers.. best wishes with this mercury, rowing is tough gig with wind and tides, travel with your handhelds radio or eperb for safety..in remote locations..
Hey guys & thanks for tuning in again! Thankfully this was the last trouble we had with the engine and she has has a ton of hours put on her without fail now 🙌🏼 yes we always carry our vhf, uhf, epirb etc all our safety gear lives in that little esky on the front 😊 Still plenty of awesome adventures to come with big red 😀
Hey Brad and Patsy, I'm keen on purchasing a True Kit boat like you have, can you tell me what length yours is please. If your serious about letting yours go I'm interested. Love your work by the way.
I used to carry a bottle of metho in my boats for just that reason. The metho will force the water through the carburettor rather than it sitting in the bowl.
Great Episode How do you go for fresh water if you stay for 2 weeks . Water in the fuel tank sometimes gets in from the breather, if it rains.. Take care have a wonderful week 🐬🦋🌈🍷🍷🦘
Thanks Paul! Patsy actually does a deep dive on the water situation in part 2! I do think the breather was the culprit! Thankfully that was the last of our boat issues and big red has been running strong on some awesome trips lately 💪🙌 Thanks for watching & same to you 😊
Hey Paul, the road gets pretty bad. Depends on how risky you feel. Id stick to the Cape Range NP, you basically get the same stuff without the hassle 👍
We are at sth Lefroy now, here for the full 28 days. We try to get here every year. I noticed your starlink on a pole. What adapter are you using to attach it? I have a flagpole but the mount I bought didn’t fit, it was outside diameter not in. It was cheap 3D printed crap that collapsed when I tried to grind it down to fit. Love the effort you go to with different angles and shots. Well edited too (Former TV director/editor here). What camera do you use for your pieces to camera? Is it a DJI Osmo? Also as a former water skier, it’s no wonder the poor motor objected. There’s a good reason they use big V8s for ski boats! Cheers and looking forward to your next ep. Mark & Kerry
Hey guys, its a spacetek carbon fibre pole kit. Awesome bit of gear. Thanks for the kind words on our videos, we use gopro for a bunch of our vlog clips 😁 Enjoy beautiful South Lefroy 😍🙌
Not really, i think it was in storage for a while. Working out the kinks while being new to boats, naturally some trial and error. We have it running mint now 🙌
MY FAT A$$ DESTROYED YOUR MOTOR 😂 Thanks for the stitch up too
KIND REGARDS - KEEGAN
You owe me a 10 second boat
haha KEEGAN!
Enjoy the journey 😊
Always!
Saw you guys out at Winderbandi packing up the other day..

That’s great news Brad and Hayley, once you have a boat theirs no going back to just the land..best part is you don’t need to tow any of it.. enjoy.

A little fuel for your boat.. or a six pack for Patsy for break downs!
Thanks guys, will certainly put it to use for a bit of both 😉 what names do you want in the thanks part of the episode?

Hey Brian, its a 4m. We have it for sale right now 👍
@@our.australia.trip. Hi Brad, ran it past the wife and was threatened with divorce, I can but only dream.
I used to carry a bottle of metho in my boats for just that reason. The metho will force the water through the carburettor rather than it sitting in the bowl.
where would you add the metho? to the fuel tank?
@@our.australia.trip. i think adding some to the tank breaks the water down so engine runs smoothly.
Great ep guys, what starlink pole are you using on the van please?
Thanks James! It’s a spacetek one, great bit of kit 👍🏼
Great Episode

Hi Guys Enjoying your content
Would a road van be able to get to your location or only off road ? Cheers
Hey Paul, the road gets pretty bad. Depends on how risky you feel. Id stick to the Cape Range NP, you basically get the same stuff without the hassle 👍
Hope you sort out the outboard legend together epic content cheers

How did you guys create the google earth map with the orange route?
We create an animation over the google earth images using keynote 😊
Seems like you have had a lot of issues with the motor. Did the bloke you bought it off seem pretty dodgy? Must of know it was on the way out.
Not really, i think it was in storage for a while. Working out the kinks while being new to boats, naturally some trial and error. We have it running mint now 🙌
Your boat is better than Sarah and Keelans… just saying 😂😂
It’s not even fair! It’s like twice the size 😅
instead of rowing get yourself a whitesnake electric back-up motor
More click bait. Never know what you’re really going to get with you guys anymore.
Sorry I’ll try break down further out at sea next time for ya
That would be Keelan 😉🤣👍🏽
Haha just taking the piss out of him 😉
