I must say that I stayed here a few years ago and I loved it!!! I love how it is off the "beaten path"!! Love the tranquility and serenity!! And I feel better now hearing that is black owned!!! I will definitely come back!!! I loved hearing the sound of the ocean slamming against the cliff at nights!!! That was my favorite feature!!!❤❤❤

On our 1st trip to Jamaica in about 1982 we went to the Shakey's Pizza in Ochi I believe ( could have been MoBay ) which was so fun as it was a childhood favorite from the location in my hometown in the States , Huntsville , Alabama ! I absconded with a Red Stripe Dimple Beer Mug that I long treasured but alas as since been lost . Ever since I have treasured Red Stripe on Draft ( tap ) over bottle , but it rare to find it seem . Restaurants are the ties that bind communities together , where we gather to socialize , where we work , and when they are gone many are so fondly remembered from times go by of simpler times we wish we had back . The Restaurant industry though fraught with hurdles has long been a great opportunity for many . We have owned & operated many restaurants and always dreamed of having one in JA but 'mon it a tough tough business anywhere ! and Yes unfortunately it can also be a dangerous business ! FYI - "Henny Penny" is a USA brand of commercial pressure fryers used widely in the food service industry.

I was a school girl at the time.

I remember all the stories from the Train crash. Ppl. Walked from my district in Trelawny to go see that dreadful sight. Ppl. From all over the country went to witness the tragic sight. How about the Duppy that took the Taxi to her Mom house in Kingston. She told the Taxi to wait gor his money. After waiting fir a long time the Taxi went o tge door only to be told that the young girl was the lady's daughter that was on the train. Many more sad story of victims. Too sad.

Please don’t ever stop giving us a piece of history. Jamaica is changing our beautiful island name is being destroyed by our own people because of the amount of crime that is going on you are one of the positive ones who are doing your best to save and protect Jamaica’s good name thank again my brother

Great story but stop with the embellishment of the photos.Annotto bay has a high concentration of indians which is very evident and unique to the area. I want to know about Jamaica. Your Afrocentric obsession takes away from the true Jamaican experience. Am from a community called cockburn pen ,where they were different shades of Jamaicans. For some reason your primary perception of Jamaicans are just a bunch of shabby black people .Those mindset forever hold back Jamaica.
