CA: 13 % income tax and 10.75% sales tax for some areas. 1.25% property tax and despite all that they still have a state deficit. ( before everyone left )
Yeah, it’s wild how the taxes stack up in CA! Even with all those high rates, they still struggle with budget issues. It’s no wonder so many people have been leaving. Thanks for sharing those numbers @elaishh3533!
Couldn’t pay me enough to live in Vegas. It’s like living in a blast furnace during summer and the city is a smut filled toilet littered with flyers for brothels and strip clubs. I hated it there so much. Much rather live in Florida or Idaho.
Hi @Lucifurion Sounds like you had quite the experience in Vegas! The summer heat there can definitely be brutal, and it’s not for everyone. Florida and Idaho both offer very different vibes where in those states would you prefer to settle? It’s always interesting to hear what draws people to different places!

Yep, there isn’t a perfect place in this world but depends on what’s ok and no ok for ya. Vegas isn’t for everyone.
But those shitty people that corrupted California and voted for those policies will now corrupt Nevada and turn that to shit too.

We wanted to find a no HOA neighborhood , with larger lots single story, it seems that they are harder to find, but well worth it to wait for one.
Definitely harder to find but not impossible. 89002, Southwest and Lone mountain will have what you’re looking for.
Another car centric shithole. Can’t walk to a grocery store and kids can’t ride their bikes to school

Question. I am Hispanic, i live in California, but i really dont like California. I wanna move to Nevada but was told its very racist. I just want to work and go home. So my question is in henderson, which area is least racsit?
Vegas is one of the most diverse cities and I do not think you will have any issues here. Take a vacation and stay in Henderson and see for yourself while you shop and eat.

Good video. I've lived in the Las Vegas valley for 51 years and watched it grow. I wish realtors would talk about Las Vegas, N. Las Vegas and Henderson as the separate cities that they are. Your thumbnail description suggests that Henderson is in Las Vegas. It is not. As a realtor, I hope you know that by now and why it matters.
