At 3:25 in the video you can see the eyelet that the roof screws go through.

They are barricade rock sliders I bought from extreme terrain. They fit perfectly over the rubi rails.

They held up pretty good. No yellowing but did get some moisture in one of the lights. It would evaporate on a hot day but for the money I would expect better. They were very bright, even the day time runners. They are useable for budget lights. If you go with them and don’t have the moisture issue you should be happy with the purchase

I bet they are. I think a lot of the budget parts a produced in china and rebranded by a few different companies

@@skaggsmedia I ended up buying the l x brand and they are really nice well-constructed the light pattern is really good and the package came with fog lights too.

It might be a quality problem with them from the factory. Did you send them back for replacements?

I recently sold the Jeep but up to that point I had no issues other than a couple chips in the finish from rocks. My only regret is not installing the skid plate before selling because now it’s sitting in my garage collecting dust 🙄

They will but it interferes with the LED light pattern so I left them off.

Sounds like you got a bad one. Did it ever start working? If not whoever you bought them from might send you a replacement.

I tried because the lights that come with the bumper are not very bright. The bolt pattern was totally different than standard round LEDs so I stuck with these. More for show than function.

Also the factory fog lights are larger. These are 3 inch round and the factory are 4 inch

Hey Tristan, what year wrangler do you have? My 2016 and 2017 JK’s didn’t have low beam daytime running lights.

​. I have a 2017 without daytime running lights. Will that fuse turn off the daytime running lights when the headlights are turned on?

Hi Justin, I spliced the wires for the round and 6” LED’s on both sides then plugged them in to the factory wires on both sides for the fog lights. That way all 4 come on when I turn on the fog lights. Was pretty simple to do too. I imagine it will be the same for the JL. Let me know when your done how you like them.

Nope, the power from the fog light wires was all they needed.

I sold that Jeep but they were still working perfectly when I did. I will likely buy more for my other Jeep. I think you will be very happy with them!

I went back after the install and put some electrical tape around the connections. I since replaced these lights though.

They are still pretty bright but there is definitely a drop in the intensity. I would probably buy the clear covers if I was purchasing them again.
