I call BS. Your stock CAN impede how you develop your sight alignment, but you overcome that by practicing. Wait, you say? Practicing with your firearm? Whoa!
@@bobg1685 you can call whoever or whatever you’d like 🤣 What I’m saying is having to “adjust” your sight picture and do the math at ONLY 25 feet bc the attachment makes you aim higher, doesn’t make it the best - but at minimum should require I point it out for a video if you’re gonna spend your hard earned money on it. You wouldn’t truly understand how much it throws your aim off unless you shot it yourself. It’s not “practice” worthy. Some things just aren’t a great products. And the mere fact that it can “impede” you, but you’re supposed to work around it - with any product- much less a firearm attachment seems counterintuitive at the very least.
@@lonzooutdoors Meh. When I had one it handled like any other firearm: you have to hold it to get your sight alignment, and if you can't then it's easy to blame the gun. I have rifles and shotguns, some have scopes, some have iron, some have TruGlo, and some have red dots. Each offers a different sight process that you either successfully use or you fail to use. Inability to adapt to your sights is a shooter issue, not a gun issue. I was more in agreement to the remark about the screws holding hardware in place; while mine were secure, I always wondered if they would be a weak point. I just bought a Mossberg 20 gauge and am planning on getting another ATI stock, and I wouldn't hesitate to get another adjustable one. TBH, however, I'm inclined to get the traditional Non-adjusting molded stock with the hand grip and be done with it.

It’s a TacStar side saddle. I found the last one at my nearest cabelas for about 40 bucks. Easy install! Would definitely recommend!

Maverick 88s are great shotguns. I have the 18.5 inch and the 20 inch models. I prefer the 20 incher. Great shotguns.

Yes I do feel it. I’m trying to press my cheek up to look down the barrel because the sight picture isn’t too good so I get punched in the face. Look around my channel, I made a review on it out at the range. It’s called “Should YOU buy the ATI Tactical Stock?”
@@lonzooutdoors I will check it out. I had one on my 870 but removed it after I could no longer tolerate the cheek punch. Now I have a Churchill 12g..thinking of another tactical style stock.

No it didn’t. The cylinder release would push and tear against my thumb with the recoil

@@lonzooutdoors He's right. Never buy Taurus. Only revolver I've ever had jam on me. The brass would expand after firing and lock the cylinder down. Sent it in to factory three times. Still had the same problem.

@lonzooutdoors Absolutely.I have a Glock 17 also but the size and mag capacity on the Pro makes it my EDC .SA makes my favorite weapons.The XDm .45 is another winner.

The 3 inch slug is probably the most powerful round commonly found in American homes, after a lengthy reliability test with my 590 none of my friends wanted to shoot it anymore lol

Solid rule I can’t lie 🔥😂 other than the right to bear arms. Guns are badass 😂
I would add 2 rules to that 5. Always wear protective eye and ear gear 6. Never try catching a Falling gun ! If it drops let it drop! Trying to catch you can accidentally pull the trigger

Is the buffer tube metal or plastic?

Could a guy not install a taller bead on the front to compensate? (I think taller would make you aim lower...I think) Also a bit of red loc tite on those screws may help that loosening issue ..maybe? Thanks for doing this video as I am considering something like this.
Thanks for the comment and questions. You COULD get another bead that’s a little taller but now you’d have to see which one is the correct size and still possibly have issues with that. Also to me, I don’t wanna HAVE to buy another aftermarket gun part just because one didn’t work correctly. (Just my opinion though) Also, definitely good advice with the red loctite! Thank you! I’m thinking of doing a round 2 video with loctite to see how many shells and slugs it can go through without coming loose! Consider subscribing if you enjoy the content 🔥 or like guns in general!

Hey Sean, yes you can shoot slugs without changing anything out. All you have to do is make sure the shotgun can take 2-3/4 and 3 inch shells. The barrel should be engraved to specify what the gun can take (or look it up in your owners manual). Thanks for the comment.
