Love it ♥What is the necessary height of the beam btw?
Hi, in my opinion its o.k. to start with a lower hight like 20cm and then going op to 40cm or higher....consider, the higher it is the more the more demanding it is (especially the psychological anxiety raises). Have fun during training! ✌
@@dr.tabletennis Thanks, better jump power may also be needed. 🤔
@@dungtranleanh1051 Yes, that´s completely right. This connection between strength, balance and jump power is important. So there are different training goals that must be practiced....👍
👍🏓
Sehr schönes Video - ich werde es beim Jugendtraining ausprobieren. Herzlichen Dank für die Ideen 🙂
Vielen Dank für das positive Feddback! 😉
Do you have exercise for relaxed legs and body movement, loose body.. i watched some videos on yt and saw that wing chun, or some rytmic activitise, dance, balet give you that flow in moves.. or shadow training, or like Maradona doing in video and song Life is life..(he shaking his legs, hips, ass, shoulders, hands… etc) thank you very much for the videos.. its Gold
Hi, thanks for your question. In my opinion a specific view is needed for the goal you have in table tennis. For the legs we need a high degree of speed and strength during performance and after that we need good relaxing methods to speed up the regeneration process like massage etc.. I guess you mean the performance process and the fluent transitions between single movement patterns. So for that you start with regular exercises and later you go on to half or foll irregular exercises..... Best regards!
Thank you very much for this videos.. sub
Thanks a lot!
Shall we do these excercises for 1 set each ?
Yes, 1-2 sets should be fine 😉
This content is merely unique. Hope you could produce more videos like this, especially loop and "against backspin" technique.
Thanks, yes, when i will find the time, i will include these topics.....👍
Definitely detailed and well-informed, really suitable for my self-learning
Thank you very much! 🏓
Great video! Why do you stretch first and then do quick running games?
Thanks, this order because the stretching for prevention of injuries and quick running to raise the tone of the muscles. There are studies that found, that after stretching sometimes the tone of the muscles is al little bit decreased...🏓

Your videos are invaluable, really great resource. Are there any books you would recommend for parents, aspiring coaches to help with 10yr old +
Thanks for your comment 😉🏓 Concerning books i can recommend the literature, that is recommended by the highest training organisation of each country. I have collected almost all books, that are common in germany, so they are in german language. But there should be also books in english or your language.... Best regards!
Footwork is probably my biggest weakness! Thank you for the video. I get exposed very frequently.
My children are not as consistent as the ones in the video haha
They will learn it ;-) Best redards and thanks for your comment!
Seems logical enough, but are top level players using these techiques? Your argument for normal ladder drills not being transferrable to table tennis should also apply to the altered ones showed in this video, in my opinion. The context of moving to a ball within the confines of a table is removed, so it is just as fictitious as with other ladder drills, no?
Thanks for your comment. In my opinion "normal" ladder drills are good to built up general coordinative abilities such as coupling ability or differentiation ability. But in the next step the movement patterns should be more specific. This means, that there should be the same footwork movement patterns in the ladder as behind the table, and this is the goal of the exercises, that are presented in this video. Best regards!
