to be honest, I can tell that miura's drawing of cascas face is kinda weak, the guy started drawing the manga at 17, drawing women is not his strong suit, so you'll find it hard to tell what her race is. and on top of that her face changes a lot after the golden age ark. What's even better is we see how his relationship to his mentor matures taking the truly valuable lessons he learned, realizing his mentor's flaws, and finally preserving the better parts of his mentor's legacy while having also expanded and improved it. i couldnt quite get into PoE1, tried several times, have like 60 hours in that game. but i know i will love PoE2 its the 3rd game ive pre-ordered, ever. and so far none of my pre-orders have been a disapointment.

As I see it: Vote with your wallet goes both ways. A developer (and privately published) with such good track record deserves to be rewarded so I have no problem opening my wallet for them. And there are no indicators that the game will be botched.

I gave them 100. I am a parent... If money was more available right before Christmas AND I hadn't just bought a new CPU, and hard drive.... CDPR fixed 2077 so while it was a steaming pile at release they haven't lost me yet... But most big companies cannot be trusted. GGG on the other hand....they have done one game that has held my interest for 13 years.... No other game has done that without modding. I don't expect more from them than I got in PoE.... But that being said even with the bar set at "I hope this is on par" I think I am in for a treat.

I gave them my money since they showed me a vision of an arpg that im missing. Something that looks more defined then a 1 button masher im desperate for that. We will see where it goes i guess. On second thought im also a melee only player and poe1 was kinda oof in that regard

I don't think it was a bad decision. I think I speak for most veteran PoE 1 players when I say GGG definitely delivers what's best for the player. And the content creators involved are also experienced PoE 1 players that give GGG constructive criticism. I absolutely cannot see this as a Cyberpunk launch at all, in any way shape or form. Both the company and, more importantly, the people who have played early builds of the game are trustworthy and have almost nothing but good things to say about it. All that said, I do believe paying for early access would be more something for people who want to actively support GGG, because the game is free. It was worth it, but not necessary

The only question for me is: Will the servers work? Jonathan said that they are prepared for 1 million players. They know how many EA packs they sold, so probably will be ok. That said, there were some bad league launches in the past. I expect at least a disconnect or 2 in the first few days.

Were you wrong? Absolutely - paying people for unfinished work is the very definition of stupidity and responsible in part for why so many publishers think they can release broken products with unfulfilled promises. No point in QA if a succession of idiots line up to give you money to be your beta testers. I'll probably jump into the game for free if it ever makes full release and becomes a bug free experience. In the meantime, you've destroyed the experience for yourself as you will only play part of an unfinished game. Rediculous. 'A fool and his money are easily parted' has never rang so true.

Got my supporter pack as soon as they opened the gates. Been playing PoE1 for a very long time and while not all seasons were perfect, the overall experience has been amazing. While they mentioned they're ready for 1M players, I'm sure there will be some queueing going on, on the first day. See you all there Exiles!
