If I remember correctly, the last update was around December 2024. Dalton! 😄Grace and I were just discussing Wiggins. When I first recorded this playthrough, I thought it must be impossible for Wiggins to be in it, because Holmes and Watson are too young. (They appear much older in the other Frogwares' games where Wiggins appears.) BUT, Grace pointed out that during the year when this game is set to take place, Wiggins would be around eight-years-old. So perhaps Frogwares simply retconned the slightly older Holmes and Watson models, and it IS Wiggins back for more adventures - perhaps during when he first begins working with Holmes. I hope we'll find out in future episodes. Wiggins is the one infamously referred to as Holmes' "eyes and ears", so when the newsboy said that, I was a bit confused. It would be great for everyone to see Wiggins' origins! 😃

@@dalton6157 You're right! 😭 And he knows the value of a shilling, too! 😭 In the "Devil's Daughter" game, Sherlock's adopted daughter has a crush on Wiggins and asks Holmes if she should approach him. I tried to have Holmes give her a positive answer the first time I played it (you get to choose how Holmes responds), but Holmes oddly ended up telling her not to go near Wiggins, instead. Alas, it must have been for this reason. 😂😂😂

Couldn't agree more - I love the thought of stories interconnecting in that way. I remember saying something like that when I first played "Hogwarts Legacy", too. The location really reminded me of Baker Street. To my mind, Wiggins did so well working for Holmes and showed such brilliance despite little to no education as a street kid, that Holmes ultimately connected him to Fig in the hopes he could have a better life - perhaps especially upon realizing his magical potential. 💜 I've always joked that Holmes is the great-grandfather, if not great-great-grandfather, of Tony Stark and loved the idea of their descendants reuniting years later. 🥰

Very true! The spot where the newsboy was sitting was indeed Wiggins' spot in every other Frogwares' Sherlock Holmes game. He would wait there to help Holmes with cases, and he was a newsboy in at least a few of the other games when he was older, so perhaps the character is meant to be a younger Wiggins - would be awesome! 😃 Not to mention, Wiggins is infamously referred to as Sherlock Holmes' "eyes and ears", just like that boy says in this playthrough, so maybe we'll find out in the future ones that he is actually a young Wiggins, and that this is when he and Holmes first met. That would be so lovely! 😆

That's a great question! I'm sure such a guide must be out there. What I've been doing has been using the strongest materials I've gathered (you can tell the level by the "Tier" listed at the top of that little window that pops up for different materials) and making weapons with those. Then I use the upgrade table to enhance them further. What are the top tier materials you've picked up so far? If you've made it to the Watch, you'll have access to better materials, as well! 🙂

@@Gizmo_Penguin legendary (orange) tier 5 but i havent craftet anything with it so far. atm i farm the bosses that will drop it. (the 3 portals downstairs in the watch) but i dont understand that you cant buy a new rifle and shotgun there. Edit: i now build a new sword the 3. mythic but it think its the last one. its nobelbismalt, pellucida, spyrys obsidian ,granit. item level 135. Is that max? numbers are : 612.8 dmg 3.15 crit 108 magica and some other stuff

@@Slybby Interesting! I mean, you've already surpassed me, as I haven't gotten the Tier 5 items yet! I think as long as you're crafting with those top-tier materials, you're going to have much higher level things, plus enhancing them with the special table. I've been seeing people getting their gear and weapons (except for guns) up to close to level 300, so I don't believe 135 is the max. Using high quality animal fibers for clothing thread is going to be big, as well. People seem to be having trouble getting guns over 250. Don't forget to include enchantments for your gear, too, since that's also going to boost things!

@@Gizmo_Penguin weapons with 250 are all in videos that are older than 4 months. there was a massiv nerf for that.

Since then, we have absolutely been enjoying all but obliterating those camp center pieces! 😋😅 We're planning to do another Moria stream soon! Must beat the game and keep building up an excellent base - Nanain the Dwarf demands it!

Totally agree that curfew should have been an obvious and implemented feature! I remember them having that even in the original Harry Potter console games, so it seems a shame that they missed the chance here! Even cooler would have been if they had a feature where you actually lose points or end up in detention, if caught - maybe even a cutscene or two related to the storyline. (As in, you wouldn't be able to "sneak past" a certain teacher, so as to trigger the cutscene and advance the storyline.)

@@Gizmo_Penguin Interesting about a cut scene and storyline. Maybe even something about Rookwood Ashwinders trying to sneak into the castle to find our MC, or asking questions in Hogsmeade "have you seen this student?"

@@stonewbie5981 Yes, super creepy! Or have them waiting just on the outskirts of Hogwarts! There's definitely a lot more they could do with the story. I guess on top of the trials of actually putting all these concepts into a game, when you're in the middle of such a big project, it can be easy to lose sight of things. It would be great to try to get lots of feedback from players!

I really don't understand what the issue is. It crashed a number of times during the stream, too. I really wish they could find a way to make it a bit more seamless on newer computers. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling from either the website directly or Steam?

@@Gizmo_Penguin I have!! I reinstalled from scratch to try and get it running for the march, but it did absolutely nothing :( I don't think it has ever worked on the "new" computer...

Totally agree. I miss the original look of the room, with all the junk just sitting everywhere. I liked how much it looked like the version from the films, so it would indeed be nice to be able to play around in there more, too!

@@Cernunnas The Cult of Dark Lord Wiggins is heeeeerrrrreeee! 😂 I always wondered deep down why Dingus allowed Spidey-Wiggins to have to live in a terrible state when he brought all the characters to Sims 4, despite allowing Koa to have a basically nice home. I always figured it was because he felt Spidey-Wiggins should be used to it from his life in Victorian London. But I now think it might be because of this - he doesn't want him to find "the hat"! 😜

Hufflepuff is a great house - very underrated! I'm glad Spidey-Wiggins got it. I actually did the house test for him and recorded it, though I haven't uploaded that, due to lack of demand. I think everyone thinks Gryffindor is the house of all the bravery and adventures (naturally, I suppose, with Harry and co.), but Hufflepuff has such lovely virtues. I'm not a massive fan of Cedric Diggory's character, but I do feel like we can see a little of the heroism of Hufflepuff house through him. I also feel like Peter Parker, Spidey-Wiggins' head-canon descendant on this channel, would very possibly be in Hufflepuff house, too! Then again, I might just be biased as a Gryffindor who is a Hufflepuff wannabe. 😉

He definitely shows some admirable traits! It was really good of him to do that for our characters, though I still have a bone to pick with him for...later. 😑

Obviously any student of any house at the school could be an absolute wart, but I genuinely was shocked by how mean that Ravenclaw girl was to poor Poppy! With your comment about practice dummies, I somehow thought you were referring to the Slytherin and Ravenclaw bullies - lke practice dummies of them! 😅

Aw, thanks for watching it, and I'm really happy if you enjoyed! You can see the massive difference in quality, though, I'm sure. It's why at the end of my uploads for the game, I will have a completely renovated version. As for Professor Hecat, I totally agree! What a fun class that was! I really wish they would have added in more in the way of classes and scenes like that. I enjoyed talking to the professors and finding out their stories - spending more time with them in-class would have been great! (Also true about the NPCs.) And after all Spidey-Wiggins has accomplished, I have just one question for Miss Everleigh: "Are we so inadequate now?" 😝

It is a very good trial - suitably challenging, but also fun (though I hated the block part, clearly~😛). I love the change in music and scenery for both the Fall and Winter at the castle, too. Truly lovely, so I'm totally in agreement with you there! 😄
