What I've Spent on Being a Motorcyclist?
those 2 small hoses are attached ,each , to a plastic part that is screwed on the head cylinder. Is there enought space to remove also this plastic part ? i am talking about the part with number 17890-06G20-000
Get a Rosebud time for your torch. It is mainly used to heat up a small to big area and stays hotter longer for more working time. If it were me, I'd drill a couple of holes in the corners to let water drain out. Just my opinion. Consider me a subscriber. Great video 👍
Good video, loved the outtakes.
Excellent!!!.Congrats!!!!. Not only very well designed and built but also a very detailed explanation. By any happen aren't you building them for sale?. I want one of it to take my dog with me. Off course, I would need some mods for me to fit my bike as well. Looking forward to your comments 💪
yeah if the coupling is one way the trailer will tip but if it is the other way the motorbike could tip right? but then you would have your feet to stabilize it ofc
Yeah, I’ll never try this at home or anywhere else for that matter. Glad to pay a mechanic to do what he does best.
Great vid thanks.
🔥
Just picked up a 2009 for $3300 with all the accessories I wanted. Looks brand new and only had 23k miles on it.
I thought it was dope the way you started w cardboard something light weight to make a prototype. King Thinking! All Around Awesome Video.
Ok if this ACTUALLY for a 2008, how did you get the remote adjuster past the ABS box and other frame, brake items!!!??? 🤷🏼♂️ Unless you've deleted your ABS, this job is nowhere near as easy as you claim. Getting the adjuster out with ABS is a nightmare!!! Suzuki could have made this SO MUCH EASIER if they'd put the adjuster on the chain side with some kind of shield or something. I shouldn't have to take apart the remote to get it out or in.
Very helpful thank you 👍
The V-Strom has inner beauty.
If I don't have a way to suspend it, can I have it on a motorcycle jack stand? I have a sturdy bash plate the bike can sit on. 👍🏻
This is pretty cool. I think if I were to do it, I'd put two, independent wheels on it. Just for shits and grins. But, again, very cool.
Regarding the master link: Do you do one pin while the chain is off the bike, and then do the other when you link the ends, or do you somehow do them both at the same time on the bike?
Quiet bikes are the best!
Just one (not real) complaint about this vid. The music with the dude whistling sticks in my head all day. Love it.

I ride mine in the streets as a daily, but I feel like I’m shifting gears at too low rpm. What is a good recommendation to shift at? 6-7k rpm? Higher? Lower? Thanks if you get back to me
We have the same bike it looks like, but where did you get the bars for the backside there
YOU CAN BUY TYRE STUDS for a motorcycle and ride snow and road also and ice with care... Tyre studswill dog the job on that bike..
Great review particularly how to adapt the vee to particular use. Im biased toward touring so perhaps may just look at the comfort level of the seat. Getting my vee tomorrow! Happy riding
I put a deposit down for a secondhand vee and can't wait to own her and ride like the wind.
No new vids.. i hope you are ok ?
It looks like doing one spring at a time is the easiest way to install them.
Did you seriously use a PVC spacer instead of mild steel tube you can't be serious man
I just changed my rear pads. Now the front bolt will not go all the way in. There is a gap about 2mm before it touches the caliper, and i dont dare tighten it any harder in fear of stripping the threads. Any ideas?
Do you actually use the trailer? I don't seem to see any video's with it (at least not in the thumbnails)... just curious how this design panned out, as I'm thinking of building a trailer.
Great video thank you. I have one question. On my front brakes one was ok but the other was at 0 what is the problem amd how can i fix it so next time thay will end together? Thank you again
4:10 woa. this made so much sense! +1 subscriber Edit: would like to see mileage differences with and without trailer attached
Nice video How wouldn’t take much to give some commentary for Tour bike riders as to road conditions paved, dirt, gravel etc for guidance to others.
Do you just follow the trail and it takes you straight to it?
Why didn’t you put it the swing arm sir
Thanks for your sharing and tips... Great 👍
Smart fella. Ty. Helped me connect dots in my head for my possible build
When you go for a ride to see how much the coolant reservoir goes down, Do you have to put the fairings back on??? Can you just ride without the fairings? See how much you have to top off the coolant. And when you're finally done, that's when you put them back on?
Super handy. Always good to see a new perspective. I just got a 2007 Vstrom 650, and I'm slowly catching back on on the missed maitenance. Got a new fuel pump, and rebuilt all the assembly as it was rusted to pieces from sitting by the last owner, tank cleaned of rust now. Did an oil/filter change yesterday, now onto the spark plugs, air filter, coolant, brake fluid, and I'll save the valve clearances for a while. Bike has 80k miles, and runs like new, and doesn't look that old. My first adventure bike, after having no bike for the last couple of years.
Nice structure and cardan joint is correctly placed for once, Most self-builders place the cardan joint with the vertical hinge on the side of the trailer, causing the trailer to tip on its side during a short bend or when reversing. Nice video without annoying music!
Where do you order your OEM Suzuki parts for your v strom?
Muy bien hecho, gracias por compartir
I agree bikes have a soul. Especially after owning them a while and maintaining them yourself. I really feel them being lonely when not used as much as before or appreciative after an oil change and a wash
On the ride, looks fun! Are you standing on the more technical sections? I find that really helps, as well as reving up on hill climbs and use the clutch for speed to avoid stalling out. If you are new to dirt (as I am), the IRC tire TH-cam channel with Rich Larson has some great instructional videos on drills to help improve ones skills off road. I have been using them for the last year and my control and skill has increased. Thanks for sharing the DRZ content. On the Farckles: As a 2023 model DRZ owner, I am happy with my Seat Concepts seat and it’s much more comfortable than stock. I also have a skid plate, radiator guards, hand guards, IMS footpegs, rear rack, adjustable levers, led lights with tail tidy & double take enduro mirrors. I am currently having the dealership add in the Suzuki kickstarter kit (don’t have a garage at home), and plan on doing the 3x3 mod, jetting, and exhaust. That should complete my mod list, as well as bring the weight back closer to stock.
Very good instructional video, but please avoid using constant music. That whistling song is really annoying.
I'm curious about the bottle jack under the bike, it didn't hurt the skid plate at all? Can you share where you got the seals?
Большое спасибо. Все понятно без перевода.
ok so whats the point of this has nothing to do with making trailer SB
Oh ~ you again. That other video, pretty great. So right now I've got to go. Maybe for lunch
I also like to slide it in from the back.😀
I had a GS500F like yours & I agree about cross winds. There's a lot of plastic to catch the wind & it's pretty light weight bike causing it to he pushed sidways & and scrubbing off speed. I did find that upgrading the front & rear suspension to RaceTech springs & an R6 rear shock helped A LOT.
