Are you aware of the language learning show called "Extra?" It's patterned after that show "Friends" I think. It's quite good, it's even funny. It's really useful for learning a language because its fun. But you know that because you told me you learned from American television shows, but this show is made specifically for language learners and is made for a few languages, but the script for all is the same. Of course, I only watched and still watch "French Extra." You can watch it 100 times and it's,still good, and you NEED repetion to learn. Anyway, since you like the show Friends, this is kind of like that. I wanted to tell you in case you, or your followers, aren't aware of the show. It's worth their time, so you might want to "check it out" and let them know. Merci pour les vidéos.

If my 4th and 3rd great grandfather's did not live in Sutton and Potton, British Colonial America, I would not attempt to learn french. What am I getting myself into? Both those areas are about 80% french speaking! Francophones! Guess I am trying to establish my lineage to Ben Barnett of the American Revolution. Learning french another hoop to jump through! 😮

You have to be willing to learn and practice. I know a French person who lived in China for five months and didn’t bother to learn anything, but he has lived here in America for a year and speaks English well.

There is more to teaching than just a good looker. Really start simple, but explain the English translations to modern day English speakers. French is a more cultured language, the language of civilization, gender and manners oriented. Politeness can get a person far in the french speaking world. Something Americans need to work on. Merci.
