Wow! Peanut Island has SURE changed dramatically since we were kids! Your mom’s grandparents (Bebaw and Bubba) had a house on Singer Island across from it, where a lot of us spent a number of holidays… INCLUDING SWIMMING across that water to get to it!! If i remember right, there was also a hideaway on the island during the Bay of Pigs era, but it’s probably long gone now. What a beautiful little place! They’ve done wonders with it!

I've lived in Jupiter 53 years. I have an immense sense of gratitude to be here -- another day in paradise. Cleanest water around (due to proximity of the gulf stream off shore), plenty of parks on the water (ocean, river, or intracoastal) and ALL free parking and facilities (showers, water fountains, gazebo-type stands at many crossovers (so you don't destroy the dunes). Please. Come and enjoy! Great video highlighting our area. TY

I lived in marathon for a few years and visit back once or twice a year sunsets food is hit or miss but great place to catch a buzz and watch the sunset. Breakfast? Wooden spoon if you can get a table. Burdines is a cool relaxed spot with consistency and good views.
