What was the final measurement from ground to fender on front and back? Looks good..
I think it was around 24”. I’ll measure it for you Sunday when I get home.
So I just measured. Front 28” rear 26” without any air in the shocks. In my opinion the rear is a bit too low, need to figure out how best to address it.
going to be a nice place bro
Thank you! We’re getting there
@Timmy_Forget I've got to build an addition myself soon. Waiting on my carpenter friend to get done his current job. So he can get my foundation and framed in for me.
@ nice!
Solid progress. I like the quote at the end of the videos. Simple yet powerful.
Thanks Brother, that was from @cameramanron Means a lot to me
this is a fantastic video Tim. you're a very talented electrician. plus I'm also amazed at what I've learned in the HVAC industry about power supply and how it works. I've always wondered how they pulled those underground lines like that. really good video. really good. thanks for sharing it.
Thanks man, you’re too kind!
lol. “ those are nice holes aren’t they?” ……. “Their beautiful “ Awesome work brotha
Thanks!! I thought they were beautiful! 😜
Looking great! Can’t wait to see the rest
Thanks you! It’s starting to look like a house now!
Always interesting content, Tim! I can't wait until next week to see these Porsches you mentioned. 😁
Thanks, I appreciate it! Where are those Porsches!?

I think that your construction is looking great. 👍 I can remember putting 2 * 6 is how long each side of the electric cable Sergeant damage my wire
Thank you, we’re plugging along! Thats always a good idea to protect the cable , works like a charm.
@Timmy_Forget yes and I don't know who started it but I'm sure it was decades and decades ago
Congratulations, power makes it feel right.
Thanks! Yeah, it’s huge

Thanks for watching!

congratulations to those two kids and congratulations to you and your wife my friend. looks like a pretty nice place. great music choice on the video by the way

@@Timmy_Forget that makes me happy. we all need some good news these days!
@@greasebellygarage I’m sure you could use a lot of it. With what you’re dealing with down there.
@@Timmy_Forget actually I'm bouncing back really quickly and fully but I'm just tired of hearing about bad news in general and politics and all that stuff. nice to see a young happy couple starting their life together! and it's always good to see Fred!
@@greasebellygarage glad to hear. Yes you’re right on that for sure, I completely agree. It is nice to see a happy couple like them. Definitely too much negativity everywhere you turn these days.
That's a beautiful country band to you. I've not been to Connecticut or Rhode island. I've been to Maryland DC the Virginia's all over the place Pennsylvania New York all over the place like to get out there sometime go to New Hampshire Maine and vermont. Of course you buy Rhode Island and Connecticut just to say I've been there

Thanks for watching and catching up, I really appreciate it! Things have been crazy busy lately. We’ve definitely been lucky this year with the storms.
@@Timmy_Forget I'm glad to see and hear that you avoided the stars. You could have had that theme song Riding the Storm out. But I'm glad you didn't have to make that video. And I'm very impressed how far you've gotten on that building 🏫

Is your foot OK, Tim? You were a lot more composed than I would have been!
It’s okay, almost healed up now, it’s been a week since. Definitely not a pleasant experience!
Thats a lot of work !!! looking good👍
Thanks! Sure is, we just keep chewing away at it.
starting to look like a real house. I'm interested in seeing you pull the Electric supply and kind of exciting that Fred's going to be in the wedding. congratulations to your daughter!

@@greasebellygarage I will be for sure!
Iv been thinking about putting a sniper on my square. Did you have to buy anything else for the kit to hook up or was everything you needed in the kit?
@@honda90084 I ended up needing a bunch of odds and ends. They don’t give you much fuel line, I had to buy a bit more along with some fittings. Needed some electrical fittings too. One thing that is a must do, that I tried cheating on is the return line. Be sure to run the 3/8” line to the tank and use the fittings they give you.
@@Timmy_ForgetDid you end up switching that line out? What kind of problems did it give you
@@jacobgonzalez1756 I did, I was having trouble with the fuel pump overheating and someone told me that it was deadheading and causing the problem
@@Timmy_Forget Got it. Thanks for the quick reply
@@jacobgonzalez1756 no problem anytime!
I think old Earl turned out really good. I actually watched this video 5 days ago but I was on a 2 and 1/2 week road trip and had to rush back home for the hurricane down in Florida.
Thanks! Hope everything is okay in your neck of the woods.
@@Timmy_Forgetthere is a lot of damage down here. several of my car buddies down here had their ACs go underwater so I'm an AC guy again for a while. how did you guys fare up there?
@@greasebellygarage I seen a few pictures online. Looks like a total mess. I’m sure you’ll be busy for a while. No real damage here at all got a little windy, but that’s about it.
I put a 1" hole saw window in mine to get the bolt out.
Perfect, Exactly what I did.. but I was off a little and had to expand it a tad!
Great vid! I just bought a Holley sniper kit for my 85 C10 with a 400. Your video made me confident. Thanks!
Thanks! I appreciate it, glad it was helpful. I had some more issues along the way but they all seem to be ironed out now. It’s been working great. Best of luck on yours! The 400 ought to make it scoot!
@@Timmy_Forget So I installed it and I’m having an issue where it won’t stay on, only fires when cranking and if it does stay on it’s at 300-500 rpms for a few seconds and dies. Any ideas?
@@jacobgonzalez1756 How is the fuel pressure? Sound like its starving for fuel??The fuel pump should kick on, then build up pressure and maintain a strong pressure
@@Timmy_Forget Gonna check that tomorrow. Had to order a fuel pressure gauge
@@jacobgonzalez1756let me know how it goes
I see Fred smiling
Fred is definitely happy these days!

safe riding, your coming my way.. jersey, low pro, make it worst
Thanks! Yes, the roads were terrible! I grew up in CT, so I should have thought of it.
I have a 1990 Burb I’d like to lower. May I ask what belltech spindles and springs you used?
I reached out to Steve at Wheel411. You can find him on Facebook. He hooked me up with all the parts and the wheels and tires. He’s a friend of a friend and I highly recommend him. I told him the look I wanted and he drop shipped everything at my door.. no guesswork.

@@Timmy_Forget Great video BTW. It gave me a good sense of the effort, tools & tips I’d need for my project.
@@SubSonicGorilla thanks, I appreciate it! Glad it helped.
Glad that Earl made the trip! I noticed the light blue Jimmy you featured was a 2wd and had a 3 on the tree! Cool.
Like a champ! I was a little bit nervous, leaving! It was a super cool truck and pretty rare for that thing to still be intact like that up in New England. The owner was a colorful gentleman as well. Really cool.
Tim how did you know the lines were pinched? 26 hour drive is insane I did 22 once
The ride home we broke up into three days, so it wasn’t so bad. 26 hours is definitely too much. I was having a problem with the wheels, getting hot and feeling the truck pulling to one side so I crawled underneath to see if I could see anything. Where the rubber meets the hard pipe at the banjo fitting it was pinched on both sides. I can’t believe we didn’t see it while it was up on the lift.
thats a haul man. Nice drive though. Nice cars as well. The javelin and gn really caught my eye. Also that wildcat man.
It was a drive for sure. All said, we are over 3000 miles.. there are some amazing cars up there
What a drive. Done with ease.
It was a long one! Earl is awesome!
i bet the problem came back, its not the spring return on the primary shaft, its the secondary return butterfly valves, wrapping the torsion spring one more wind will work but not correctly the proper fix , holly tech support said to loosen butterfly screws and readjust or re-center secondary valves, also good idea to re-center primary valves as well, requires removing the throttle body but its the correct way to fix it instead of over-stressing the torsion spring and throttle pedal, loosen screws on bottom side of butterfly valves and snap the throttle open and closed and they will self center and make sure to tighten screws well so they dont loosen and fall into engine, UPDATE: now I found out no screws to loosen on butterfly valves on base model sniper, they are riveted on, Christ POS! so I guess were stuck with winding the spring more
@@sacooper802 it’s been pretty reliable since I last adjusted it. The IAC adjustment made a big difference. I still think that I would get better performance out of the truck with a carburetor. It’s on there and running decent so I’m not going to mess with it anymore for the time being.
Seen this great ride on I 84 in north eastern PA to day looked amazing !!
Awesome!!! Thanks! and thanks for checking it out!! We made it to Eastern CT!
