Starting Rebuilt Honda CB750 for the First Time (NO MUSIC)
My tiger 900 already has cruise control (I'll never tour without it again), but I still have one of those winglets mounted, so that I can keep a throttle setting without clutching the throttle - I sort of just lean my hand on the winglet thingy. Grip puppies can also help. The seat can often be improved. Reupholstering is expensive and takes time, but there are several pad option - like sheepskin, seat cover with airing and inflatable/gel type pads. Concider wind protection - touring screen, bark busters etc. I have a bottle holder, and can sip my water while i drive. A bladder would be even better. Take breaks, get off the bike. Stretch and breathe!
I have never been able to find earplugs that work for me I have weird shaped ear canals, They are kinda oval shaped. All those ones with the rings around the plugs make my ears raw when I use them the foam ones don't stay in very well there are some silicone ones (I think he called them wax that do stay in my ears very well but the thing that works the best for me are the noise cancelling earplugs from Bose. Expensive yes but zero wind noise and I assume they are good at doing the job of keeping your ears safe from noise. I like music when I ride and nothing works better than the noise cancelling ones. Every other type of earbud style earplug just lets noise in and you have to turn them up so loud you are doing more damage to your ears than using nothing probably
Is that a Koso gauge you are running on the CB750K? Do you have a video of how you mounted it?
How about with an AUTOMATIC clutch (no gearshift) to jumpstart?🙄
what if the bike has a fuel gauge and I will refuel before it reaches E empty, does it matter if I have it always switched to reserve in this scenario
Bro I don’t care about on or reserve All I want to know is what im supposed to do with the off setting because I leave it on always
you're gonna end up 🪦
Nothing beats plywood screwed to the wall and then nails to hook your tools onto
When will the Insta 360 x 5 camera be available in the market?
Looks great! The only thing I have done is paint the wall black before hanging the metal pegboard so the white doesn't show through
I had that thought actually! I was thinking of a dark grey, and you’re totally right, it would look better, but I also was curious what it would look like if I didn’t. Maybe I’ll do it in the future.
Trash advice hate from ca💪🏽
😂
I only use Alexa in my garage for the same reason
Right? I just don’t need a microphone in the home at all times. lol
Came over from TikTok can’t wait for u to make some content on that bmw
Hey, good to have you here! BMW content coming soon 😁
@ can’t wait would u be able to do some sort of carb set up video
@@joshuasalisbury789 Anything about carbs in particular?
@ just tuning them what to do when it bogs etc
Looks great! Garage content is awesome, pls keep us updated on how your space evolves
Thanks man! And will do! The BMW build will be the next reason things change -- as parts get taken off, restored, or catalogued -- definitely going to need some more shelf space.
Awesome video man! First video I’ve seen of yours on TH-cam. Came over from TikTok. Love the long form and the wide angle lens. Can’t wait to see future videos and you work on the BMW. Keep up the good work man!
Hey dude! Great to see you over here! BMW project coming soon! 😁
I fukin love you bro. Pls upload more on here
And I love you! We are back at it! I’ve taken some time away from here, got better at videos, and I’m back to give you what you deserve. High quality, long form content. Thanks for being here ❤️
@JacobBaldry and I'll stay. I'm getting my first bike soon and I'll need all the bike knowledge I can get
Hey man - how did you split audio from the Cardo into line level for your GoPro? Been looking at a setup like that so I can get live audio into the GP. Any help appreciated
Bikes looks clean man
<3
I'd be super interested in seeing a video on how you split your cardo mic to the GoPro.
I’ll take my chances
i am using alpine moto safe for years now, cant go wrong. They are cheap so you can try them out and make up your own mind. They have different versions (for loud music, travel, sleep etc) make sure you get the right one.
Horrible advise. An AirTag is better than nothing. Chances are the thief won’t have an iPhone. And if so, 90% of them will probably ditch the bike if alerted. (Edited to say, I love that old Honda. Beautiful!)
most of them DO have iPhones or Androids. They're super sophisticated. they can blast the window out of a car left on (probably not auto started) and drive away. they can get a fob anywhere and they have the means to program them. bullshit lies that no one can do it. If you lose a key, $600 at the dealership, or $100 in the hood.
Hi can i use for WhatsApp calls?
thank you for your review sir...i need ear protection badly with all these rides with big bikes
Thank you sir
I will continue to use a airtag.
Thank you!!! I needed all of the over explanation. Thoroughly done.
What earplugs do you use?
Preload does not change spring stiffness. It changes the initial force needed to compress the spring when the bike is loaded, thus moving the operating range of the suspension. Restricting the damping will have the opposite effect, the spring will be more free to oscillate. You need to increase the damping to let the spring return slower. In total you need to tune both to get a balanced "critically damped system" - returning back as fast a possible while avoid oscillations.
Ok so what gauge is that? Dope build though!
😂 I can’t believe I still forgot to say. It’s an Acewell 6502!
👍👍👍
Could you show how your vertical setup up of acepro on your helmet please(?), thank you😊
Insta 360 are just so expensive and in a month there’s a new action cam. You’re always chasing the new thing. But I agree with you buy the nicest and then just keep that forever lol
Great information
I had no clue nice video thanks!
I wear foam plugs and it makes the exhaust throaty and cuts all wind noise
What shock is that brutherr
Ikons(fastest reply ever tbh) 🤝
Well explained in such short video
Well done video! Ever tried Artevive Moto Earplugs? They were advertised on Instagram. I may go with the Alpines. I like to listen to Music while riding. Thanks!
How about for long rides....I got the earpeace pro and first off I have to jamb them way in (almost hurting) just sonthey stay in place when putting the helmet on. Once on it seems I can get about 2 hours of riding in before they work themselves sideways or loose, thus eliminating their usefulness. How do the Alpine's compare for long rides?
those alpines do not reduce noise as they promised. 17-20 decibel reducing is near to nothing, not enough to start with. even you fit them nicely, deep and tight, they will move and start to leak as soon as you move your chin or gulp. and they will never be comfortable as your earbuds. they give me cutting sensation in my ear canals. you can fill the air canal in them with a tiny foam piece cut from any foam plugs if you want to improve their noise reduction rate.
Thank you so much because that was actually useful. So many people just talk about what the reserve is and the three settings but they don't actually say if it is a separate compartment of fuel in the tank. I have an old bike that I purchased and I've been driving it for a long while and I just keep it filled up often And I have not had to use reserve but I have to admit, I was concerned that if I did the fuel will be stale because I was not sure if it was a separate compartment. Thanks again. Appreciate you. Daniel
I just purchased the Alpine plugs at $49.00 CAD! A far cry from the $29USD, but, welcome to Canada! I did get two sets, one 17db and one 20db. So far I've tried the 17db and they were impressive. There still is some wind noise but far less than without. I will try the the 20db ones next and let you know how they fared. They are really comfortable and come with a little tube to aid in inserting them. It works quite well. Also, a handy little carrying case to hold them in. Thanks for sharing this video. Cheers.
update? 😊
Just ordered a pair! Thanks for the review!! 🤙
Good info, thank you
I have two AirTags on my eBike. They can’t steal it from my home because of my large property and theft deterrent 😉. 2 work in my opinion very well.
so how will we know if it works?
Better than nothing
Totally agree! I even say that in the long form version of this 😁
