You do have to remove the factory carpet in the trunk, that is true. However if you look closer, it says there is an access door that comes with the non-factory sub option. So if yours was like mine, and you don't have the factory subwoofer then you would get the access door to the factory storage cubby. In my opinion, this is one mod worth the money if you don't need the rear seat.

Hey Myles!! Been a while my friend. I wasn't a fan of how the video turned out, but hey content is content lol. The 997 is very nice and likely where I will end up. Not sure I can find a 991 in my price range, but we will see when the time comes. Archer is definitely doing a lot better than he was 2-3 weeks ago. As long as he stays seizure free we are good to go. And yea, dad's truck is definitely crazy. Big V8 with a loud exhaust, big lift and wheels/tires haha. He barely drives that thing now and was talking about selling it. Maybe I can convince him to just give it to me.....hahaha.

@@Wobblenuts glad to hear Archer is doing better than before. Long may that continue. Hopefully something turns up on the 911 front. Definitely things to watch for around bore score and IMS bearings but those seem to be it for the 997s other than wear and tear. The truck would make some interesting content! But sounds like most things are done around lift, exhaust and wheels. Could do some Everglade bashing in it like a true floridian! Stay safe and look forward to seeing what's next on the channel 👍

@@bowstobourbon haha good luck with the decision. I will say if I was doing it again I would go Rubi up front for sure. The sport was fine, but certain things like axles limited it for sure. Also depends on what you want to do with it.

Honestly yes, I think so. It could just be a placebo effect, but doing the IE inlet overall was a noticeable improvement.

Nice, thanks for checking it out. I believe the black strip you are talking about is because my friends SQ5 has the black optics package from factory. So if that is it, you could probably just wrap it with some gloss black vinyl if you wanted.

You can get it off of ebay. I just purchased one, and did the grill and fog covers today. I tried to remove the lower chrome piece you're talking about and I couldnt for the life of me get it out of the bumper. It was to the point that I was damaging the tabs without getting it to even budge. I tried looking all over for a how to or some tips for removing it but I couldnt find anything. Everyone just suggests wrapping it or painting it (while still in the bumper). I prefer to do a legit swap but i'm a bit stuck right now.

Taos lift kit is like $450. Wheel/tires can vary depending on how deep you want to go. You can probably get a budget set for 1k, give or take.

@@Flaxum it did not come with the writing installed. I believe the letters came as an optional add on if you choose to install them. The grill for my car was the same way.

I’m glad I could help!! I’d say just make sure where they are connection points or clamps that everything is nice and even and tighten down enough.

Hey thanks for the support!! I actually haven’t had any issues with tire wear. Even now that I’m on air ride my tires have been ok. Biggest key for tire wear is making sure the camber is somewhat in spec, but the toe is most important.
