Welcome back to the channel everyone!! For this one we have a very slight change of pace and instead of working on my car we are working on my friend Derek's new (to him) 2019 B9 SQ5. First, I have to say I have never driven or been in a SQ5 before, but its really nice. Which makes sense considering I have the sedan version. We have @canautoperformance back on the channel yet again with another grill install. What can I say about them that hasn't already been said? Fitment and quality is on point, along with their customer service and shipping times.
He came over from Sarasota to do a little AVF, Helen prep since the show is about 3 weeks away. We will be there the whole week, and I will be hosting the Audi meet on Friday with the assistance of Audi Club FL, Audi Club NC, and my friends at Integrated Engineering. So after stacking up parts in preparation for his visit, we installed the RS grills, 034 stage 1 ECU/TCU tunes, 034 SQ5 lowering links, and some clear bumper markers.
We will probably end up doing some future videos with his SQ5. I think a few bolts ons are in store, along with maybe some additional aero. I hope you guys enjoyed the video and learned something. You definitely should. The 2023 SQ5 factory grill is pretty decent though (if its the black optics one)

Great video, I got the same grill from them, but did not install yet. That gloss black strip that’s on front lower bumper mine is chrome where do you get a new one in gloss black?
Nice, thanks for checking it out. I believe the black strip you are talking about is because my friends SQ5 has the black optics package from factory. So if that is it, you could probably just wrap it with some gloss black vinyl if you wanted.
You can get it off of ebay. I just purchased one, and did the grill and fog covers today. I tried to remove the lower chrome piece you're talking about and I couldnt for the life of me get it out of the bumper. It was to the point that I was damaging the tabs without getting it to even budge. I tried looking all over for a how to or some tips for removing it but I couldnt find anything. Everyone just suggests wrapping it or painting it (while still in the bumper). I prefer to do a legit swap but i'm a bit stuck right now.
Looks crazy good. Did this SQ5 have the front facing camera in the grille? Have a 2018 Prestige SQ5 and black grille ready to install.
It did not, but the new grill has the provision for it. Seems easy enough to add on.
Does the grill you listed in your description have the quatro written on it? I am trying to get one that's fully gloss black, please let me know appreciate it!
@@Flaxum it did not come with the writing installed. I believe the letters came as an optional add on if you choose to install them. The grill for my car was the same way.
