Just received my Gen 2 yesterday. Might be a bit before I can do anything with it..... 11F this morning, and nothing above freezing soon! :) Mine arrived in great condition. It was the first PCP gun I've received that actually had all the bolts and screws tightened. The sidelever action operates very smoothly, and everything seems to be as it should be. Next will be filling it with are and letting it sit for 24 hours to see if it leaks. Looking forward to more informative videos on this gun!

Speed loader jams repeatedly

Been shooting mine since Christmas in 25 caliber and what an upgrade it is from gen 1. I get 3 mags out of it before needing to refill. The accuracy is amazing with i get dime size groups at 30 yards. I couldn't be happier with my purchase! When are you selling 25 caliber mags for it on the website? I need one more!🎉😊

1200 fps for a viable hunting rifle and a rifled barrel in .177 and .22. The Russian “Blackbird” is still king of .177 semi, capable of 3, 6 and 9 round bursts as we as full automatic 400 round clips and electric hopper. There’s a long road ahead of you.

I just bought the Barra 1100z gen 2 in 25 cal today from your website. I was hoping to look at the owner's manual on it but all I can find is the older manual which is the same manual as the gen 1. I wanted to see if there was a way to adjust the regulator for consistent PSI shots. I see on this this video the gen 2 it's got two gages. One gage on the end of the tank where the fill prob used to be and then another gage where it was originally meaning has two gages. I'm guessing the one on the end of the air tank is the 3,500 PSI max fill gage and the other middle way of the stock which would be the regulator that you can make adjusts to Increase or decrease regulated shot like the 250z example from 1,800 PSI to 1,900 PSI getting more regulated shots? I hope to get an answer from you guys here but if not I guess I will see when it gets to me. At either case I look forward to trying it out and taking many squirrels , groundhogs , fox , coyotes , turkey and more with it. I'm definitely loving my 1100Z gen 1 in .22 cal. Just wish I had waited for the regulated version which come out two weeks later. My only compliment would be the trigger being hollow which is the only thing that feels cheap. The trigger system I like. Just not the hollowed pot metal trigger itself. I'd love to see a solid rifle trigger put on the Barra 1100z systems.

I want my gen 1 back. They replaced my gen 1 with gen 2 only to find out gen 2 is definitely a downgrade. Gears only lasted couple months and nothing but jams and I only use black BBs they suggest. New mag doesn't even work correctly, seems like they may have taken a great product and made it so it wouldn't last as long so you have to buy another. Think I'm just going to upgrade myself and skip returning hopefully I can find compatible parts. any one with info on upgrades, parts ect would be much appreciated.

I want to know how high the reg pressure can be adjusted to. The reg guage showes 3,500 just on the red line. Just curious, and want to know for to shoot .22 cal 40 grain HP slugs.

Used a burst control (wizard) on a poly 400e. 5 round burst. 3 mags taped together. Black BBS only.

Leaks out of the barrel straight out of the box. Troubleshooting guide says it’s the valve poppet. There is 0 information anywhere on repairing/maintaining the valve poppet. Very frustrating and disappointing.

Brand new out of the box and air is leaking out of the barrel indicating a leak from the poppet valve and there 0 information on replacing/repairing this valve, nothing, nada. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Very frustrating.

Gentlemen, you seem to appear to have the next best thing to sliced bread in an air rifle, BUT! Could you kindly pretty please with sugar on top include a few statistical data to confirm what a great PCP air rifle you are selling. To begin, you state on the video that the rifle can provide 40 shots in 22 and 25 caliber for 40 fpe and 50 fpe respectively. Now, numbers do not lie, but you can lie with numbers, so we take the product of 40 shots and 40 fpe, which gives 1,600 fpe total, but 40 shots and 50 fpe gives 2,000 fpe total, and the only way you can have such numbers is if you have some form of hidden air cylinder and with a higher regulator pressure setting. Please answer the following and I will share my findings with you and most probably buy approximately 100 of your Barra 250z in 25 caliber to build training rifles for a contract I am bidding on. Actual active rifling length from the tip of the projectile in the chamber to the muzzle crown. Rifling twist rate Number of lands and grooves with their dimensions Volume size of the plenum The shot count from full cylinder fill at 3,600 psi to the cylinder pressure drop of 2,200, 2,100, 2,000, or 1,900 psi, and reporting the regulator pressure set point of said pressure dropsx, you pick; along with the mass of projectile and its average velocity no less than 20 shots, or better yet 30 shots for a better mechanical statistical analysis. Also, some other ambient environmental conditions such as your elevation above mean sea level, temperature, relative humidity, and barometric pressure. Other variables such as azimuth and angle of shots will be covered in my book, which I hope your rifle will be the protagonist of the story. What would be ideal would be if you could tune the regulator to shoot the projectiles at 898 fps then the shot count does not matter because all you need is good shot placement and not a plinker. If you like, you can take it one step further and provide a shot group at 176 yards and you will sell more Barra 250z than you can manufacture to meet the orders, and if you follow my advice and connect me with your manufacture to make a few modifications you will sell more than the orders you receive in this century; of course thats if we don't go to war with China. For example, I take it that you filled the cylinder to 3,600 psi and set your regulator pressure to 2,000 psi, which would drop the cylinder fill pressure by 40 psi per shot (3600-2000)/40 = (1600psi)/40 shots = 40 psi per shot, so the perforce (usually called pretorque) set at 2,000 psi will shoot each projectile, and if the hammer spring and regulator spring(s) are set to 50% their working energy force you will get a smaller spread and standard deviation because of the consistency around the 50% working linear force and not somewhere in the 70% or down in the 30%, but that another thermodynamic physics that will be covered in the book (I won't ask for the hammer spring O.D., I.D., wire diameters, total free length and type of material, but if I can purchase a spring from you, I can give you a recommendation of what spring to use depending on the power output planned such as 45 fpe =/- 10 fpe, and yes, it will be covered in the book, or found in TH-cam videos if you have 40 years to spare, or a 4 year degree in mechanical engineering at MIT. There are no short-cuts, or tricks with magic involved and the laws of physics are not just really good ideas. I can't offer to do a review; even if you offered a free rifle, ammunition and monetary compensation because I need the data I am requesting and chances are that I will be making some modifications; actually, more than a few modifications, so if I can purchase just a barrel, hammer spring and regulator I can do my statistical analysis and share it with you as you just might be my supplier for my contracts that I win and you work your magic on your end. Anyways, getting back to the 40 psi of dry air per shot at 2,000 psi, I need the plenum volume to calculate the mass of dry air used per shot and find the most efficient value for regulator pressure for given plenum volume for mass of projectile. For instance, let us say that the plenum is 10.08 cc volume at 2,000 psi, which at 25 degree Celsius would have half a grain of dry air at said temperature, and if 100% of said mass of air were to escape into the barrel and behind the projectile, it would propel the projectile to 842 fps giving approximately 40 fpe (translational kinetic energy), but without knowing the cylinder fill drop to calculate the percentage of plenum dry air mass, it is mostly close guestimates if presuming 100% efficiency, which I have found that 15% is lost to other energy forms and only approximately 85% is transferred to translational kinetic energy. In conclusion, it appears that you have a better air rifle than you think you have; especially if you add a moderator, and a $299 fixed 10X scope, which will also be covered in the book. Just imagine said rifle of yours as the cover rifle. Great video, liked and subscribed and keep them coming as I find them entertaining, educational and inspiring to buy a Barra 250z in 25 caliber (Not "0.25 caliber" because then the average human hair would not fit through the bore of 0.25 / 100 = 0.0025 inch)

Going to a Fill probe/ Foster Fill Probe is a step backwards. Still a great PCP.

Foster is more solid and more reliable. Also you can cap it to keep debris out. The Foster probe has 2 o rings to maintain.

I have the new Gen II. I love my Gen I as it is my go to rifle. When I saw my rifle offered for about the same price in Camo, I bought one not knowing it was Gen II as it did not have this posted in its nomenclature. I have not shot it yet as it arrived yesterday late evening. I did fill it as it came empty and I need to know if it holds a charge. I prefer the Foster over the Probe. Interesting that it comes with a Foster fill probe. I am not sure how to keep debris out of the fill probe hole. A Foster you can cap it. Will update after shooting.

You should mention that to turn the reg pressure DOWN, the tank pressure needs to be depleted well below the current reg setting, or drained completely. Going UP make no difference. You risk damage to the reg by turning it down while pressurized.....

Fill cap can pop off. What can we do to keep it on and not lose it? Drill and install a tether? Hot glue? Velcro? Anyone with a solution? other than take it off and put it into your pocket when hunting. Anyone? My Beeman will do the same after a few weeks to a month, all of a sudden the fill cap pops off in the gun cabinet. Even so. If you bump it real good, that may be all it needs to pop off. A Tiny vent hole and a tiny bungie tether. I might try a reversing Velcro wrap. Humm......
