Looks like Impact Mitigation is having the 5% remaining minimum armor trigger the 0.75 modifier of Impact Mitigation, while PA is... only applying the 15% minimum damage to 10% minimum damage of Polarized Armor?

I've been looking at just how fast a primarily Safety Overrides fleet can generically kill 2 ordos. Here's the first fleet I have put together. A nice time and show, but now I need to fine-tune it.

About 38 skill points used. This fleet isn't meant to min-max, just to show a few ways to micromanage a lowtech firing line, not to mention showing how valuable piloting a fast, distracting ship can be. It's almost like hammer-anvil tactics.

Showing off Solo Retribution potential. I even made a pretty terrible mistake early on where I got my ASS BLASTED, yet I still won in the end. Obviously if you want the battle to end faster just deploy more things lol.

Just a little demonstration to show the Retribution's potential. This isn't THE Retribution build, there's many ways you can build it. If you manage to, you can buy the Retribution very early game and easily solo entire pirate or luddic path armadas just spamming DLMG and Devastators. You're too fast and too high DPS for any of those threats to stop. For ~40 DP you can kill however much PPT you...
From some quick calculations: IM is 3.5% better than PA for the Hellbore shot (674/691) IM is 9.95% better that PA for the Light Needler (112/123) IM is 21.5% better than PA for the Railgun (22/28) It definitely seems like IM is the better choice unless you're already going into Industry for other purposes. (Please correct me if my math is incorrect)

Nice gameplay, but do you know about swapping to an empty weapon group to have all weapons autofiring? I.E. press 4 with the Scarab or Sunder so you can focus on piloting.

Wow I can’t believe I showed the bralwers and not the eradicators. I couldn’t tell you what build I used for them, they were just some eradicators I built up during my campaign. Most of my videos I used console command to set up, this one was actually mostly my vanilla campaign.

When I personally pilot the Radiant with the Neurolink, I feel like the master of the universe in indestructible armor. And that's how any armored warrior or naive Paragon/Radiant lover will feel until they encounter the Mongols/Huns or a fleet of phase ships.
Is neural link here mainly to reset the ship system on Harbinger?
@@dmitrygolubev9398 it also resets the ship system on Afflictor and also allows me to improve the chances that the afflictor actually uses entropy amplifier on the ships I want it to, when I want it to.

But yeah, neural link was mostly to get harbinger system Resets and more to control the afflictor’s system than to reset it

This video was actually made after some discussions with someone who did a similar speed run but with missiles. That's what the thumbnail is inferring; a missile build does this, but without needing as much SP/officer investment.
