Fuel transfer to main tank 2015 Ford superduty
มุมมอง 18K9 ปีที่แล้ว
I bought a 37g vertical tank and layed it over to fin under my tool box. I also plumbed it into my main filler neck. I made it a lot harder then it needed to be but I didn't want to see the pump and hose in the back of my truck.

How to operate Grove 8100 crane
Where is the battery kill switch located?
@@hilux22re it has been years since I ran a grove rt. I have no idea where the switch is sorry
JOKE: All of the engineers and designers finally got sober in AA. 😅
this is amazing tnx dude
How do you override the two block if I’m booming all the way down to drive the machine with the block and ball hooked up to the machine
Over ride key is behind the seat or on the back of the cab.
@@justinwhisenhunt2661I’m surprised they didn’t put it on the outside of the boom 😂
What is the parameters of the different fucntions do? Like from a straight line to a curve line? Hope im asking that right
It changes how the lever engages. Like the straight line if you move the level 10% it gives you 10%. But the more curved ones may only give you 6% for the same movement. Just mess with it and get a feel for it.
I pulled my friends behind my Volkswagen Beatle bug on the street. It was the most fun we had ever had in our lives. We made you guys look like rookies 🤪
This video saved my ass. New grove and it’s confusing as shit at first. Thanks.
Glad it helped.
Use AN type fitting never had one leak
I have high level hate for this computer and cab on these RT models. Why Grove cranes went away from the simple and easy to use PC’s in the older models such as an 05’ RT650E, I’ll never know. The electro over hydraulic controls suck. The fine metering is just as bad as a new Link Belt. The steering wheel tower is pointless. The 360 mechanic lock takes much effort to engage. The telescope pedal and swing brake are the same shape so you’re guaranteed to land your foot on the wrong one when looking out the top glass. These cabs also are similar to the Plinko game on price is right. Anything you lay up top WILL find it’s way to the floor. There’s no flat surfaces anywhere within easy reach to set a piece of fruit, a can of soda. The cup holder is 20” away when setting upright in the seat. It’s more narrow from left to right, and also there’s less head room. No room behind the seat for a persons lunch box, it’s gotta set outside if it rains. No where to hang a hard hat, I mean you can wedge it above the PC display, but it’ll find its way to the floor. All the wasted space in front of the steering tower. And the bull nose door, WTF, oh and the 2.0 bull nose door still sucks, needs another redesign. The top glass and wiper motor will get you wet if opened after some rain has fallen, the wiper blade channels it right in there due to poor placement. And all the damn glass keeps you cool in the heat, NOT!! Sorry to vent
Cool
Have you ran into any scoping issues where you have to troubleshoot, do these new modes have less "groove issues"?
I havent had any issues yet. But i havent ran one much since i posted this video. Sorry.
While trying to put outriggers out I have a 4wd light flashing and it’s locking me out . I’ve tried shifting in and out of it and everything else I know to do any suggestions?
May have to roll it a bit to help things line up
The flashing 4-wheel drive light is notifying you that the 4-wheel drive selection switch is in 2-wheel drive and 4wheel is required for outrigger function. It's a design feature to save the differential from damage. Be sure to press the brake when selecting 4wheel or 2wheel drive.
Nice job!!!!
Does anyone know how to get it in mode A? I can't figure this damn thing out completely yet
Its been a bit since I have ran one. But make sure the boom is fully retracted and still hold the scope in a few seconds longer and you should be able to select it.
@@hobanm45 boom is fully retracted and outriggers are out 100% and lmi set at 0001. It just doesn't give me the option for mode A. Only mode B and M are available. 🤔
@@heyjiggyjiggy its been 3 years since I have ran one so I'm out of ideas sorry.
@@hobanm45 it's ok, thank you though
So I spoke with a Grove vender and he ran the serial numbers. Turns out on the 2017 880E the mode A & X were eliminated even though the operations manual in came with shows mode A & X are there. Any preliminary operations manuals need to be updated with the current and final copy. 🤦♂️
The front lower links look like ass lose the coil spring put a coil over shock in more room change the Trac bar
The arms are just throwaways, I just needed something to locate the front axle when I was building it. And the upper track bar mount is being remade as well to help clear the front diff
same computer set up as RT530E2?
i dont know sorry
Sir i have a question how to remove 4 wheel drive icon in the computer below in outriger
im not sure. sorry
No problem ekologie oil 600liter
This thing is a mess...
You did a lot of c-channel work but the bottom of the truck is rusted out
Good afternoon
Thanks for this video, very helpful! Eventually swapping a Cummins into my f150
Looks like shit. All these modifications just kills the true bronco. What’s the point. Mightiest will get the new 2020 bronco.
How dare I have an opinion that differs from yours.
You're an idiot.
New vids and of the superduty axle swap
I'm out of state for work right now. But next video should be it doing its 1st tests drive
That's one hell of a transfer pump you got there.
yup and I dont recommend doing it lol. About blew up my tank
beautiful. doing it the right way I love it. Im trying to get my dad to do something similar to his 90
Looks killer. Considering something like this on my 68
Do you have a part two video
I'm waiting on the clutch right now before I stab the motor in then I will make a pt2
thanks
Glad it helped
What an idiot!!!!
I truly Love those rims, Awesome.
It's all good that your building up your '78 or '79 Bronco, but I see the most important issue that you need to address. The ground clearance is still that of an trail driven vehicle or some flat surface for your 4x4. You will get to go to many more places with more ground clearance. I wish you all the luck.
I got about 10in ot clearance from the lowest point. I plan on just light wheeling. I built it more because I have always wanted a big 460bbf bronco on 39s
I see, I myself go through the woods and tree stumps is I was thinking, or big rocks. Thats why I made that comment. Still good luck.
Thanks a lot that it is very usefull for us
does that superduty axle have the manual vacuum hubs on it ?
The vacuum hose is there but I got the axle with missing the hubs. I plan on just buying the warn 4x4 hubs for it because I dont wanna install the vacuum pump
hobanm45 I think that tells me what I need to know. I'm putting a 03' superduty D60 under my 93 Yukon and was curious if I just run the vacuum off my engine or will a set of warns or yukon locking hubs would jus do away with the vacuum crap ?
Chris Hurley He’s using 05up axles and they use a different hub than the 04 down Superduty axles. All of the auto Superduty hubs have auto and a lock mode. The auto mode uses the vacuum but you can manually lock them. You can also get the non auto factory hubs too that have a free and lock mode. You can also just stick some warns on it.
Hot! I wish I could be pulled behind too! Grab the truck and try to hold it still when you drive off :)
I am doing the same swap can you tell what size u bolts you used amazing build the front axle i really do not have the skills to attempt that .
frank monty I'm sorry I dont remember. I just went to a truck shop and had them bent for the rear axle
Thank you for the reply your video on your super duty axles swap really helped me out
frank monty i would be happy to help with anything else if i can.
that would be great i certainly need help with the rear end i have several questions it would be easier for me if i can send you an email with my phone number if you do not mind . Thank You Frank... my email frankmontalto@hotmail.com
What total morons! They're just going to stand there and watch it spray hydraulic fluid all over the ground, and not only that they are still operating the crane while they know it's spraying out hydraulic fluid! You sir, are an idiot!
Roy Patterson : D
As I said to another guy we had a massive lightning storm rolling in so we pulled the boom in. And we cleaned up the hydro afterwards.
DUMB ASS<your dog was in the line of fire!!! Butt heads like you give gun owners bad names!!!!
Scott inohio not my dog
Awesome, can't wait to see more progress on the bronco👍
no big deal
how much would this thing cost? this is exactly what I'd want in a truck.
J L after the price of the bronco maybe 10k to 15k. 2k in bumpers, 3k in axles with lockers, 3k in the motor, 1k in tranny, 2k in rims and tires, 2k in the lift ,and god only knows how much in random other things. I have slowly building this for the past 2 years.
where are you located? im interested in that d44 you have in the garage
Dan Springer Oklahoma, but i gave the d44 and 9in to a friend. To stuff under a land rover discovery
Total dopes. Shut it down and figure out the problem. Then fix it. If you have to fold it up at least try and contain it before making it worse. Hope they got fined.
Michael St Jean we knew exactly what the problem was but we are not going to leave the boom up with lightning rolling in. And yes we cleaned up the mess put a new line in and years later the it's still working fine.
Been there. Done that. Try losing the main return line. Wow!
Fixa Troll ouch
Return lines suck
# ELVIS KNEVIL yeah! Dumped about 50 gallons of fluid in 10 seconds or so. Right on the clay river side. Never had much of chance. Any we started clean up and the Environment officer wasn't overly concerned. He told me that Hydraulic fluid is mineral oil with some additives and detergents and is not nearly as toxic a engine or. Trany oils. The bears would often drink an open 5 gal can left overnight on a wilderness site. We recovered over 2/3rds of it. Left the rest. This was a government biologist too So a hydraulic spill is not the end of the world. Thankfully because spill fines are huge!
I did yesterday... 50 gallons in 15 sec...
Did U do your osha daily inspection, and why didn’t u fix the hose or Oring that blew Before you retracted the boom hopefully u didn’t burn the pump out,
Reno M yes, we had a lightning storm rolling in.
need a longer yoke too.
its a good thing ,but why,std axles are heaps enough,the truck weighs nothing compared to a s duty,d60 front rear would of been my only change,im currently,[not raisen],fitting d60 axles,78,to an 82 bronco,ttb,front is d44 with d60 disc,h/d snow fighter type,rear is 86 d60.i have a2002 s duty,4.2 brazilian turbo deisel,i might eventualy fit early diffs,lighter,strong enough.if your doing extreme rock crawling,id go rockwell,other than that,std good enough.good job well thought out,but,???.
As far as your leak, maybe a little bit of flex seal sprayed around it to prevent the leak might help?
Pete Raichel the truck in long gone but that doesn't would like a bad idea to try if I still have it.
