Hi Glenna! ! Were those wild burros? We have become HUGE fans of Nature & Wildlife Preserves! They can be just as amazing as some of the State Park areas without the crowds! Thanks for the trek through the woods - looks like you had perfect weather! Temps in the 60s are about PERFECT. And lunch looked AMAZING! Happy hiking!

Thanks for posting, and for give us so many minutes of marillion. They sound as good as always with Nick beggs, and i am glad to see they still play first period classics like sugar mice.

I have never been on a cruise but I wouldn’t mind going on one. The tour of your room looked big. I’m guessing you upgraded. I hear the rooms are usually tiny. Very cool that you got to see the bridge. I would have assumed that it would be like on an airplane and you couldn’t get anywhere close to look at it. When I was in the Navy in San Diego I used to go on the bridge all the time to drive my ship, the uss cowpens. It looks like you two are living the good life. Lots of great food and attending concerts all day. 👍

I went there today thinking it was only gonna be a 20 minute hike to the arc right before sunset but Little did I know. Thank you for the video. The scenery was beautiful.

Well, it’s been a while since you posted a video. The rocky place where you had lunch seems like there would be hundreds of snakes. Personally, I would not want to eat right there. Cool bobcat tracks. “Here kitty kitty.” Supposedly we have them here in PA but I’ve never seen one. 👍

I knew there were going to be some rocks on this hike, it seems that every place name with the word "devil" in it features some type of rocky or barren landscape. THeere is a Devils Race Track in Pennsylvania also, interesting paw print!

I found an observatory on one of my hikes in PA a few months ago. It was a surprise when I located it. It’s definitely warmer in Alabama. We had one nice day so far the other day. Happy hiking. 👍

Las Cruces is such a gem......if you go to the end of the trail where the sign says "No entry, unexploded bombs" there is a path up to the left that goes up 400 feet or so to a ridgeline. The views up there are incredible....your right near the peak of all the mountains around you. This will make the Achenbach hike around 6 miles with a total elevation gain of around 1800 feet. Thanks for the VIDS Glenna. Now get the hubby to buy you a drone ! lol
