I got you bro. Keep it comming
I saw that tru-action photo. My scout team. We crush all y'all. We get knocked over easy. We just throw bombs. 30 plus yards. Can I really compete with the big boys? Probably not.let a brother dream lol.
I remeber playing this as a kid in the 80’s. Never actually knew what the rules were.
Back in those days we made up our own rules. We played front of base tackling and man-on-man line up; no gap shooting. We always used the ttqb to pass.
Come on bro we need a new one with Derek Henry, saquon Barkley etc With all the passing figures on today's game we forget about running the ball. Always great stuff.
Morris, You missed the theme of the video. The 2,000 yd. rusher wasn't a thing until O.J. did it first. He probably didn't believe it to be possible until he closed in on it. I wanted to acknowledge the first man to reach the 2,000 yd milestone. That's important to me. I will acknowledge all other backs when I feel the time is right.
Awesome video as always!
My first board was the Home- Guest board with red and white players. My second was the 560 board. Both were given as gifts in 1977. I remember the day after the Colts lost to the Raiders in the playoffs.
I remember getting so frustrated playing this as a kid in the 70s.
I bought one of his first boards about 20 yrs ago and hand it shipped up here to maryland, the Dallas cowboys still got til this very day.
Custom boards are the best. They are a testament to how far we have come in this hobby.
I had the Giants vs Broncos in the 80s I cant take it Im buying me a new set ! Give me the Raiders !
Welcome back to the hobby. This game is a lot of fun.
Great videi Im late to the party in 2024 😂
Mannnn, brings back memories. I remember using powder to represent snow😬😁😆
Back in the day, we would play some of our games outside in the cold when it wasn't wet.
I had one of these when I was younger. Raiders and the Browns. Love that game. Played it for hours
I am glad that you enjoyed the video.
No way that wasnt a completion, that was a dime
We get calls like this throughout all of our tournaments. I haven't watched the video since I last posted it. I think I remember the play. It was a completion. Because I am not a ref I can't make the call during the game. I am the self-appointed camera man. HAHAHAAHAHAAH!
Bill and Ted brought me here
Just bought a super bowl set and 2 extra teams , really looking forward to playing this again.
I hope that you enjoy yourself with the game. I most certainly do. I am always working on new projects in this hobby. I have something new coming soon.
Great video great instruction. Many will learn from this and take the next step in their painting journey. That being said I disagree when it come to not shaking up your paints every time before use I know some paints of a higher quality don't need it as much but a good rule is to shake every bottle you touch . Even clear Finnish needs to be shaken vigorously for the best results.
I handle my paints based on the brand that I use. I shake my water-based paints. I stir my oil-based paints. After I am done with my upcoming video, I will do another painting video.
Good to see you posting the hobby still salute from coach BigLock
It's good to hear from you Lock. Yes, I am still putting in work. Check out the live videos. I have something new coming soon. Hang on.
Yall playing this game ALLL wrong! why are yall moving the men around after the set is turned on? Do they pause a real game to put me in better position in the nfl?
In a real game, the players on the field react as they should, such as pursuing a ball carrier. In an effort to simulate the natural reactions of real players, the game-board is stopped to allow the figures on the board to be adjusted. So no, we have it right. You don't understand.
@@ElectriccoachI clearly understand we had leagues in the 80s playing this game y'all have takin the game and changed it and made it easy to score. we had to use our BRAINS and plan out plays to score.
looks like they use bases that go only forward? they have that vibration dial set so they move very fast
This game is a simulation of real football. The team that moves forward throughout the game is the team that usually wins. Speed is what football is all about. Moving forward and fast is what you're supposed to do when you play football. That's how football is. I have other videos here on my channel. Check them out.
Yall blind man, that pass at the 6 minute mark was good, he hit him on the hands easy
We get those close calls all of the time in the hobby.
Where can i find that trimming tool?
When is the next tournament?
i believe there two coming up in april 1st the tudor championship in Tennesee followed by capital city clash

Excellent Video
Hey Scott, I am glad that you enjoyed the video.
I showed up to late for the live so I just started watching lol. I appreciate you for showing me your continued tweak on the base
There is still more that I will do the base. I will save it for the next live event that I hope to do soon.
It’s so fast. Is there an I’m old and my reflexes are shot league?
Hello Greg, Yes, the game is fast. It's always been fast. We have guys who retired from tournament play due to fatigue, inability to see the board, etc. Here is one of my video lectures from my channel. It's a lot slower. th-cam.com/video/DqegznXVpz4/w-d-xo.html
Coach you are the man, thank you
Coach my Headband Magnifying Glass with Light, Rechargeable Head Magnifying Glasses 1X to 14X, Magnifying Headset with 6 Detachable Lens, Hands Free Head Mount Magnifier came in today. Makes a big difference in seeing the prongs. I will use it more tomorrow. Also, I am studying zone blocking schemes and have completed setting up my dial DPF bases for these schemes. I play front base tackling. With front base tackling, you can run plays with zone blocking. That is why I asked the question regarding runs to the gaps. I forgot the A gap in my question. Chat soon.
When are you goin' live again Coach?
I will be live again soon. Stay tuned.
@@Electriccoach 👍
I wanted to see you finish tweaking the base to go straight
I intend to bring that base back in another live video.
Nice!! Im gonna take your fundamentals and try some tweaking tonight@@Electriccoach
Thank you again for the video. I got back in at the end. I will watch later.
That was a completion😊
@46:34 it bounced like the 6 train
I'm glad this still exists!
I remember having one of these in the early 80's. We had the Lions and the Bears. Didn't know how to play it properly but spent hours watching those little guys buzzing around.
Wow amazing, first time watching a game!
Damon, There is more here on my channel. Check this one out. th-cam.com/video/UIbW8W5a3NY/w-d-xo.html
Best toy ever made hands down. I got mine in 1975
I save my damaged bases too. when i need a stationary base I grab one of my "mistakes" and clip the prongs completely off :P
My brother and I got our game in 1980. Most of us electric football lovers are older, but we have great memories. We never used the quarterback. It was too difficult to operate. We just threw the passes ourselves. We even convinced our parents to buy new teams once or twice.
Love table top football games and tournaments! Great job guys!
This is crazy. The last time I played was in 1981 then I discovered GIRLS
The game is still here. See my entire channel. th-cam.com/users/Electriccoachvideos Join us on Facebook. facebook.com/groups/EFTHECENTER

6:01 was definitely a catch. This reminds me of when I played... it was ALWAYS one calling the misses and catches wrong. Lmao! Good game! But all of this adjusting the players AFTER the catch is not how you should be playing. Just pass... If it's complete, let them go in whatever direction everyone is going after the field was stopped. Example: Explain how a man angled out towards out of bounds, with a millimeter between the base and the out of bounds line is going to catch it, and turn up field. That should be the equivalent to a diving catch going out of bounds, instead of pointing the man back in bounds after you complete the pass. In a real game, he would either catch the pass and run out of bounds, or get his footing and catch the ball as he's falling or diving out of bounds. But overall, good game. I will say yall are pretty accurate when passing. The looser that triple threat qb's arm is the better the passing precision.
In an effort to capture the realism of game play, the receiver is turned up field as a real player would do. During passing plays, the defense pivots unengaged players so that they would pursue the ball carrier like a real football player is supposed to. All-in-all, we don't just let our players go wherever when the board is turned back on. That's why the game got a bad rep back in the day when people all over the country were playing.
@@Electriccoach lol. Maaan, let em run. Once you touch that man, with the exception of the QB when you're passing, you've disturbed the whole play naturally playing out. When you say bad rep/rap, I'm not sure what you mean, because the game was awesome back then; I never really heard anything bad about it, except from the people who didn't have the patience to play and couldn't pass. Lol. Still is an awesome game. Do you guys have tournaments in different states?
@@myfirstjs8357 You have been away from the game too long. Yes, the game has a bad reputation nationwide. Simply allowing the players to just go is what gave the game a bad rep. Moreover, playing the way that you suggest is aimless, wreck less, and irresponsible. Yes, there are tournaments around the country. Join us on Facebook. facebook.com/groups/EFTHECENTER
Real play, nice
Are there weekly games within the league. I am not far from the Morrisville area. Point of Contact?
Charles, Did you go to any of the links that I provided for you in my other video? I am not going to do the groundwork for you.

Great game! Two great coaches!
Hey Coach, would you please share what wireless remote you are using and how it is set up. It appears to me that you have been using the same system for many years. Thank you for your videos. Roy Auburn, WA.
I use a remote power switch to turn the board on and off.
Receiver wide open. Don't use the countdown for a pass. It makes you jittery. Just throw the darn ball. Can't wait to get my ars kicked by you all. Y'all the best. I just talk a good game lol.
Would love to go to one of theses....any around Southern Illinois
