In addition to majority of these points, I'm also interested to see what Sora's initial personal want/goal will be. Will he immediately start frantically thinking about how to get back home, like in KH1 Traverse Town. Or, will he accept his fate, knowing what Chirithy told him (seemingly being content with it, based on his reactions in Re: Mind) and at least try to begin making due with a long-term life in Quadratum before the main plot forces him to act and likely give him a clue to get home.

5 or 6 games is my guess and the perfect amount, without being too long of an arc/saga. I think 3 numbered games, with 1 subtitled game in between the numbers would be best. Maybe one final subtitle after a hypothetical KH6, to act as concluding epilogue/bridge to whatever's next.

The themes of loneliness and Sora being truly isolated are what I've been most excited to see with his character in KH4. There's so much potential for him to have true introspection on himself, which he hasn't really had the luxury to do whilst worrying about his close friends and the other Guardians. I never even considered the fact that a regular realistic society could be more individualistic and less open to immediate friendship 😅. That's a clever angle that should definitely be explored in the world. Sora's gonna have to get used to "acquaintances" first 😂. I also really want to see a nuanced fallout of the Foretellers from their Master based on their own moral beliefs. Ava may have already gotten the ball rolling. Great discussion 👍🏿.

Well keyblade master means you have reached a level of expertise to be recognized by a keyblade master, it is kind of circular. Like apprenticeships in older times (and some occupation still today), there are different means to train and different criteria to qualify. One unifying qualification is strength of heart, that is sufficient resistance to Darkness (the original Keyblade masters, the foretellers, were specifically trained to resist darkness and act as vessels to hold "darkness"). I argue mickey did train riku, he trained him not on combat skills, but in strength of heart.

You know, I cant stop thinking about this mechanic lately. I gotta say you have some great theories about how it will be used in the story! As far as gameplay goes, I think we might see it mostly be used for making weapons, and maybe even vehicles out of the enemies/enviroments

I see you end the stream before defeating Rufus. You do have to fight Elena and Rude again before fighting Rufus so you know.

I sadly feel like she will be put as a character like the bbs trio and days trio. But i hope kh4 will be like bbs. We choose as kairi, she goes to disney worlds with aqua or donald and goofy. Riku goes to find sora. Sora with streliztia exploring new live action worlds. But idk. We could get a kairi game. Kairi trains with ventus, namine, and xion under aqua to train to be a keyblade master.

Finally things are picking up steam.

This serves as an opportunity to truly focus on the Destiny Island trio. Sora needs to be able to depend upon his own strength, not relying upon the borrowed power of those around him, or be swallowed by his own self-doubt. Riku must be able to delve deeper into the greater conspiracy revolving around a past most characters aren't even privy to, as he seems the intellectually persistent of the three, even if the price of knowledge comes with a cost most would outright refuse. Kairi absolutely needs to prove herself capable of so much more than just standing on the sidelines or relying on support, she's an outright detriment to those around her due to her lack of martial skill, and her ability to survive the most dangerous circumstances tells me that there's a dormant power waiting to be unleashed. Sora shouldn't be the only lead, that'd be a terrible waste of time considering how many games we've had with him as the main protagonist. The trio needs to evolve & adapt to meet the challenges that lie ahead. The Lost Masters are far more capable of attaining their aspirations than Xehanort ever was.

He basically went through a "darker" arc already..in chain of memories he was not his usual happy go lucky self. He was angry lashed out at Donald and goofy a few times and had real bloodlust for the organization members for thr first time.

I agree, as long as it isn't one of those weird and pessimistic struggle arcs we see in modern media now. He shouldn't be downtrodden, sad, and belittled, but instead he should face issues and succeed after trial. And most of all, he should be the same chipper Sora we've always known.

I hop e they give Sora more range this game especially if he’s going to be the only playable character but according to rumors it’s looking like we might get another dream drop situation with Riku possibly but watching final fantasy rebirth character moments it seems like character development story telling has improved which gives me hope for kh4

After seeing Sora handle EVERYTHING in KH3, yeah; let's see him struggle.

I really do hope we get to see an arc like this in KH4, if not, sometime in the future of the Lost Masters Arc. And I think something like this arc could tie him to Strelitzia. Both Sora and Strelitzia have been severed from their friends/family, but whereas Sora was from his own actions, Strelitzia's was from an external force (AKA Ventus and his darkness [Vanitas]). On top of that, Sora is very strong and capable because of his friends, but with them not around, as you said, he'll have to make his own choices, similar to Strelitzia having to learn to be strong enough to fight alongside Lauriam and protect him. And as a reward for overcoming their struggles, internal, external, and together, they might find solace and newfound friendship with each other and other characters (like Magia, Aegis [presumably Donald and Goofy's counterparts from Quadratum], and maybe even Xehanort), leading to Sora and Strelitzia (and maybe Xehanort) having the tough decision to return to their friends or stay with the ones they've made in Quadratum. I've had this in mind for a while, having no KH4 trailer does things to you... Anyways, great video! Looking forward to more!

I really do like the idea of Sora and young Xehanort meeting and talking about everything, as you say, the forgiveness and trust thing.

Personally, I think the poor kid needs trauma therapy... We may see all this come to a head in the next game, so it will be him trying to gather himself together and try and figure out who he is now, given that his life has not been in his control, and he had no say in all this... Also, why is Sora being punished for 'misusing' his powers while Xehanort seems to have gotten away with it?! That is so unfair, and Sora has been given an unfairly hard time...

It will be interesting to have marluxia go back to his data version of scala . He may even take up his persona of Ardyn from final fantasy. Who knows, maybe we’ll see him in kh4 . Sora will definitely be alone for a while in kh4 .

This might sound weird to say, bu I'm honestly really glad Sora will not have any of his friends in Unreality. Mainly because his friends are what have given him purpose, and some of them ( like Donald and Goofy ) feed into Sora's toxic positivity. So I think it's important for Sora to finally take the time to self examine himself, and accept parts of himself he's been repressing, like his negative emotions, and facing some of his biggest fears like being alone. And I hope with whatever new friends he makes, they encourage Sora to be more introspective. I think his interactions with Strelitzia could be especially interesting, since their both basically in the same boat.

I have a feeling vanitas will be important as well because his ending in kh3 was so basic and anticlimactic Wich was odd considering his connection with ven and union cross (if his the darkness that possessed ven)

I would in fact love an entire game where we get to reconnect Vens memories so that lauriam can finally reunite with his sister Also kind of a long rant but… This has got me wondering if luxu saving strelizia was what made him the traitor? I was kinda on team Ava’s the traitor for striking first, but Luxu was very much told not to interfere and recreating strelizia from data into an empty vessel that he just had somehow??? Yeah that’s interfering, that’s directly disobeying in way MoM couldn’t account for, as far as we know. He was planning on the foretellors rebelling in some ways in order to cause the war, but unless he left that vessel for Luxu with instructions, I think that may be the thing that earns him his title as traitor…

We also gotta remember roxas has part of the master's keyblade
