I’m really sorry that you’ve been going through such a hard time. Hearing that you have to usually pay for different treatments makes me so grateful for the NHS. Just curious, how do you cope with food/no food when you go out for lunch? The last time I did this I had a child’s portion of ice cream. My stomach was ok with this. I’m finding all the Christmas food ads really hard at the moment. I’d love to be able to eat normal food again, especially at this time of year. Australia looks great at Christmas time with all the lights & decorations. Take care. x

We all do weird things to fit in... I'm a man who hates sports, but when I was a kid, I was asked what football team I like, I picked the Raiders because of their colors. I still hate sports but no longer want or need to "fit in."

I got behind on videos, so I'm catching up now. Hopefully they don't give you a beta blocker to slow your heart. Those have so many bad side effects. They give me Guanfacine to slow my heart to prevent racing, and it also happens to be a nonstimulant ADHD medication.

I don’t blame you for not accepting a lift from that bloke. If the car has central looking, as most cars do these days, you could be stuck in the car with no way to get out. Very scary. A bloke from the local library offered to take me to the seaside for the day a couple of times & I refused both times because of the central locking situation. Also, he was a bit of a wimp.

I can feel your struggle as a guitar player when i try to record music there is always something which is kind of distracting may be my fingers are not working fast or lot of noises and on the other hand i don't even have microphone, so i use my mobile to record guitar music. I live there lol. Knew from your first clip there that you were playing in Kiama lol. I also have EDS and the GP and Intestonal failure and am only in my 20s too. I have a G and J tube too except I’m on TPN. And I also do music and write and play as well, I often busk in town in Kiama.. small world lol

Thanks for the cool video, and I hope you're feeling better soon! If you keep doing live performances for another year or two, I bet you'd do well auditioning for American Idol. Australia has one as well, but American Idol really loves stories like yours. Plus you could reach a lot of people with your song, and if you wrote it you'd make some sustainable income off of song royalties. To do American Idol, you'd need to learn an array of secular songs and be open to singing songs that might be outside of your normal listening.

Being in hospital be like, hurry up and wait, lol. The machine beeping is a sanity test. I never go anywhere without earplugs these days. Leaving the hospital makes me break out in song too. Lol. Glad you got to your music festival. ❤

It was gastroparesis content that I found you through. The worst part of an invisible chronic illness is a feeling of loneliness and not being understood. That's why I watch and hang out here, because you get it. ❤

All the misinformation out there is why your channel is such an oasis amidst it all; you do a great job of showing the balance between surviving and thriving without shying away from the best parts of life or the worst parts of your experiences with those diagnoses (and fwiw it **is** all nice to see as someone else with EDS and a lifestyle that would be considered unconventional to a person whose entire perception of living with a disability comes from tiktok misinformation)!

I didn't know there was such a stigma going around EDS (as I have no social media besides YT). It's so sad that you felt the need to keep silent about your conditions and the many issues you face because of it. I'm glad however that you'll continue to spread awareness is the most genuine way possible so that others who are (newly) diagnosed may find some relieve in your content, by hearing that it is still possible to fight for your dreams.

It's so true. So many people go, "oh, I must have that, too!" When it's been a lifetime of sickness and mistreatment and loosing organs and dying in a hospital to get help. Ehlers can just be chronic pain yes, but it has also taken the lives of young people. It's a spectrum and people need to know that. But, it is not just flexibility. Glad you are spreading awareness. <333

That radio station is weird. Sounds like they're rejecting much of the New Testament. 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 immediately comes to mind. Do you have the lyrics written down somewhere? I often can't pick the lyrics out of songs when they're sung.

That's sad about the mess revolving EDS channels on social media. The 13 different types of EDS and most doctors not knowing enough in order to diagnose it fuel the problems. Thankfully you have an opportunity to be a genuine EDS channel, to help in that capacity.

What type of EDS do you have? I researched EDS and I think that is why TH-cam sent your channel my way. I like that your channel give God the glory
