The Snow Gods finally came thru!! I skied deep snow 8"-10" in places on a run I call Moose Mountain Chute, a logged access road?, too steep for a road unless U use a winch, more like a chute. I found MM Chute in 2013, a few days after I skied a chute in the Gulf of Slides, while testing out a pair of winter alpine boots. Always good to see the Original, Full Length, Uncut version to see what Top to Bottom runs look like! The Woods/Forest/Glade was so much fun to ski & spend time in...definitely want to go back. By all indications the BC @ the 44th lattitude in the East was bare ground by March 8, 2024, few small patches of snow in shaded spots. Mother Nature had other ideas! On a recent trip to Utah, I took my Voile V6 BC Skis as my goto Skis for both Resort Skiing & Backcountry Skiing. I found they can do both w ease! Never Imagined I'd B Skiing in UT Backcountry in 2024...but that's what Bday Presents R 4!! Thank you Robin!! Filmed March 20, 2024, after 2days skiing steep terrain at Utah Resorts, we were Hammered!! The Glades-Woods were So Beautiful, So Open, the Snow a nice soft layer on top of 3-4' snowpack...what Mother Nature intended!! Soo better than Resort skiing!! Caution is advised w any BC skiing....

Finally, a Freak Storm dumped from 22-34" of soft powdery snow at the 44th and other places in the Northeast March 23-24, 2024. Not sure I would catch it since I would arrive from Utah on Sunday AM, 3/24, too exhausted to ski. Would Monday Work? YES!!
