Overview of the control panel on a Haas verticle machining center
This was a great video to watch! I'm just refreshing my memory since I haven't ran a CNC for a LONG LONG TIME... This channel is making it all come back! Thanks!!
It crazy about 10 years ago I was watching this video cause I wanted to get into programing and now I am finally learning programming in school
I know this video is 11 yrs old, but this makes so much sense when I run the same 15-16 tools all the time on multiple different parts, table height never changes!
it been 11 years we stil love and grateful for your content.
Fantastic basic cutter comp. lesson. Well Done !!!!
Thank you, Jeff for this video! Very clear explanation.
okay allright okay okay 60 times ca on 15 min okay okay allright
X diameter measure / Z face measure on HAAS lathes without the tool-eye . Quick and simple, use a shim or piece of paper to touch off each tool on the turret and your setting up making parts within minutes.
Good n simple
Thanks
This just saved me so much time, I’m so glad I found this video
Are you programming centerline or edge, are you putting a diameter in the cutter comp or just perceived wear?
great video but the coughing in the background was irritating
Do you have a class on thread milling?
excellent class.
Hello friend, when the letter X is inserted, the command alone creates the zero along with the X, how do I change that which is the parameters.
Some of the best explanations I have seen thus far.
Explain climb milling?
Why don’t use high gauge . Making it easy before I did . Different kind machines i don’t know function

Hi Jeff, just popping over to help boost your subs. Thanks for the support on my channel.
How do you control mismatch from running two different vices for one part. Like g54 and g55. 54 will do one side of the part and 55 dose the other. How do you make sure it matches up
Sir how many mm cutter used ?
Initial and ending melody is from Polish news channel TV Trwam....
yeah take a cough drop dude gimme a break
So kind, thank you !
Great explanation! It's also good for making the part slightly over or under size if a certain fit is required
Rolltech Innovation manufactures machine coolant saver. Serious threats to productivity and health are bacteria and fungi which are commonly found in industrial coolants. This coolant bacteria filter has some advantageous features include: last a life time, with guarantee of extended life of coolant with bacteria filter - no consumables, no electricity, no chemical dosing, etc. It is a one time investment, ROI within 4-6 Months, Saves on input of fresh oil and disposal cost like etp treatment, or giving it to authorised recycler. These mineral oil based coolant are prone to generation of bacteria which produces foul odour, often from hydrogen sulfide [rotten egg smell]. Rolltech Innovation "Aqualogic" filter is an innovative and economical method of continuously controlling these micro organisms and the odour they generate. "Aqualogic" bacteria coolant filter consists of series of high-purity multi-metal fibres cased within a stainless steel tube. the dissimilar ions in the multimetal alloy bed undergo a natural electrochemical reaction, also known as an oxidation-reduction reaction. Which Kills the all the Microbial activity in the coolant 24/7 call us at +91-702-723-6191 or write to us at rolltechin(at)gmail.com Enjoy the coolant being running without changing it, just keep the coolant healthy
Learn how to be a teacher without telling everyone how to do it wrong then have to go back and correct yourself. I have watched about 10 video on I and J interpolation and every one of them has made mistakes which I have to go back and unlearn what they just said so I can go back to learn how to do it correctly. As soon as I finally understand the I and J positions, I will make a video of my own that people can understand.
Never set tools jogging towards part like shown here. Use a precision ground gauge pin and jog away from part until it slips and minus diameter of gauge pin
Very helpful your video thanks so much
Excellent. Cheers
why don't you use a piece of brass to do cuts?? cheaper? won't wear out tools without coolant?? I do it till paper doesn't move then z face measure!
sari programming seekhiye mere channel me....mere channel ka ek dafa visit kr lein...maZa na aya to pese wapis
Thanks for the information, it's really helpful. But try to highlight your screen in the camera and focus on screen so we can see those numbers and values there clearly.
can you do a video on circular pocket milling using a G03, I,KJ please.
New to Machining, refresher is awesome. Newbie out of trade school
On these videos be aware you can open a document and type in the procedure by using pause on each item. Works great. You then have the exact procedure in one paragraph without being locked into a video that must be watched and listened to. Keep in mind that for him to show each button push and the part takes many tedious hours of film clips and editing and its not practical to do that or else NO video would get done.
Thank you so much sir please send with all video
Mucho rollo para tomar alturas nada más, gracias pero tu video no sirve . Es mejor tomar Z de top pieza, el papelometro nunca pasara de moda jejeje
Переведите на русский блеать!
Great refresher
When you remove the tool does the machine lose the tool measurements ?
No. The only way to lose the tool offset is if you manually delete it
Mr Block is it possible for you to do a video where you calibrate the probe and especially the renishaw tool setter? I'm stuck!!! Or even recommend a resource for this info for a vf4 this version.
Would this be the same on the Haas TL-1 lathe?
yes it will it works great on my tl-1
If you have 2 or more tools, you can make the zed offset of tool #1 the "common" so if you have varying material lengths, just change the common not every zed of all the tools.
Nice video of the back of your head
