It blows my mind that in 2024 Xbox/Microsoft still has yet to release a controller that works seamlessly with a PC or even it's own console for that matter. Xbox still hangs on to the AA batteries, why? They nickel and dime you for accessories. The fact that my Ps4 controller is rechargeable and works better on my MICROSOFT PC is astounding.

It is pricey but it’s a must have if you’re going to be playing for extended periods. I love mine and it’s adds so much enjoyment to the switch

You explained the obvious. Now tell us what to do when the "add device" doesn't show your Xbox controller EVER. I'm using windows 11 and every generic controller I have connects but the 80 dollar genuine Xbox controller is a no go. Do a trouble shooting video without 8 minutes of ads.

The Xbox Series X is still the best system. I am about to start a new game that has spanned about 25 years called Diablo and can't wait to get rolling. Also, WOW Legends is an excellent naval sea battle game! The PS5 is more for women and children who haven't thought "things" through. 🤔

can you connect multiple controller with one dongle?

So when I try to do this. It all goes back to directing me to the Xbox PC app. The app won't sign in. So when I try to connect the contoller in the Xbox Accessories app, its just errors out, not letting me connect the controller. Because it's a pro controller and requires additional set up with the button mapping ect.

For the second method which is the only one available for me,I can’t use the first option,so I use the third,and my logo doesn’t go solid

all of these methods do succeed in pairing my xbox controller to my PC, but inputs are not sent to the PC. For example, If i press a button on my controller, it doesn't do anything to the game im playing, forcing me to stick to keyboard and mouse. Can someone help me?
