This is an amazing concept, but I have to agree with other comments and that it needs a better opening. It looks like you even had a hard time getting the substrate in.

Love the concept, but the opening is just too small. The whole top ship come off for easier access.

I already bought one, it looks amazing! Unfortunately, I’m also now seeing these comments and agreeing with them about making the top open. The door hatch is super cool aesthetically but I’m now a bit nervous about maintenance. Especially if I have to dig a feeder insect out that escaped my spider. Hopefully it’ll be easier due to it’s larger size and my smaller hands. 😂

I wonder how a GBB would do in one of these if it were a XL pyramid 😂

I also like the look but think you would need a funnel to help with dirt being spilled everywhere. Cool concept however.

What an opportunity for someone (tarantula cribs?) to add a pretty LED apex to the pyramid for an awesome piece. On a related note: would be interested to see how humidity behaves in such an enclosure.

Cool asthetically but the small opening seems hard to work with and sloped sides mean it will collect dust and require frequent wiping, which ruins acrylic. For the right display could be amazing but will trade longevity for style.

Moin! It's a really nice idea. But if you try to take the P. traansvalicus out of the enclosure, it's difficult to take it out of that. An opening lid would have had to be added and it's a little bit safer.

I just bought once, and it she very docile before molt. But after molt, her personality changed, more skittish, and run faster. Do you know why? thanks.

What if I grabbed a big rock and my hand got stuck Joking aside, this would look great for some death feigning beetles or even darkling beetles as well. Very unique setup!
