My fav species this far. Just got my balfouri sling communal going about 3-4 weeks ago. Have them in a medium TC slider with a bunch of spider wood emanating from the substrate in the back right hand corner. Looks great and I Love watching them web it up and share prekilled meal worms or red runners. Love watching them come out of their shared burrow every night. Their communication between each other w their legs is simply fascinating. Cannot wait to watch them grow. And love Richard’s production work, as always!

A community of these is a dream for my husband! Hopefully we’ll be able to do that one day. Right now,we have a GBB that just had it first molt with us last week,and a pinktoe. I can’t wait to be able to get more tarantulas! (Coming from someone that was TERRIFIED of spiders six months ago! 😂)

Tarantula goals! This makes me want to update all my enclosures and make them bio active.
I love the coloring on this species. The naming is perfect for it cause baboons have same pattern.
