Nice one .my p90 guitar is a 2011 Fender Blacktop Jaguar 90 ·Nóŧ only does it sound great but it's my best lookng guitar too.[candy apple red with black pickguard]Only thing better than a p90 is 2 p90s lol

Thanks for this excellent comparison. I was looking for a nice telecaster type guitar for jazz and blues. The T53 seems to hit a sweet spot for great blues and jazz tones in a beautiful guitar with a very playable neck. I will pull the trigger on the T53. Wish you could get some commission on it 😉. Again thanks for a really nice , honest, not overproduced comparison. I really the reviews in which the viewer/listener can hear the guitar without a backing track.

There is color video of a young B.B. King playing live with one of his heroes T-Bone Walker live at Newport(?) I forget the venue. B.B. was playing more notes per bar than I ever heard him play! He was just going for broke! Nervous? Something to prove? We may never know. 😂 I think with maturity he was able to get to the place you're speaking of. Reducing, or economizing the volume of notes to only the ones that matter.

L- I agree especially about the guitar being the closest instrument too the human voice!! No two guitars have the same voice so it's always about learning listening and feel. Great message thanks Doug 😎

Older I get the less chaos I want on My guitar, Plus playing chaotic speed riffs doesnt make Me happy, its nice to make every note count.

Truth! I’d love to be able to shred but the fact is it’s always good tone and good phrasing that catches my ear. A single note played well says far more than 100 rapid fire notes.

I'm not a "shredder", but I do enjoy throwing in some shred licks here and there.

I have been a pro and semi-pro guitarist for 60 years. To me, a guitar is just a tax deductible tool. Like a chainsaw is to a farmer. The more you shred, the more they wear out, then you get a new one. That’s it for me. À la fin de la journée, c’est qu’un morçeau du bois et metale. Cheap guitars, expensive guitars, old guitars, new guitars, they are all the same through a bunch of pedals and a great amp. Great video however mate.

Love your style man! When I try to come up with new guitar phrases, I listen to the music, think of melodies in my head and sing these melodies in my head, and then try to mimic that vocal melody on the guitar. It's a great way to write guitar parts and phrases.

Never get a B stock anything. Why do you think they are called that? I paid 279 euros for mine. It just had one protruding fret, which I fixed in two minutes. It is now perfect. My les pauls cost me thousands, years ago. Imho I prefer the HB 550.

Great video, very relaxing delivery and beautiful playing, great vibrato - but that moment at 21:32 !! The flame on the original is stunning - I bought an FTB finish one recently and it's nowhere near as good looking, but does play well. Looking forward to seeing more, thank you Lemi.
