What an Amazing Guitar, which is pure eye Candy, but sounds great.

- This style of guitar launched a lot of our guitar heroes, especially Sister Rosseta Tharpe.
This guitar is not just your ordinary budget guitar, it's a gem.
The Harley Benton DC -600 VI Vintage Series.
Bonus: She weighs 7lbs with no neck dive, plus its getting very low on stock, so grab one while you can. 😉
3 humbuckers is just greedy😮great vid 👍🏻
😂 love your comment
Thanks for taking the time to make another great video cheers
You are most welcome, cheers
Top man. I love the fact that you are a true enthusiast comes through in every vid. Keep going bud!
Thank you very much 😊
You prove, time and time again, that you can get great tones from “budget” guitars. This is no exception. Great work Lem. I love to hear Sister Rosetta get a shoutout too 🎶🎶🎶
Thanks Thom.
I always appreciate your feedback and comments.
Yes, I always try a bit harder with budget guitars and I always acknowledge the great pioneers of the pass which has influenced our playing.
Have a great weekend buddy 😀 👍
Came close to buying an Epiphone version of an SG Custom some years ago. Now I wish I had. They stopped making them quite awhile ago.
Never mind pal.
Cheers for your feedback 👍
Never mind, hope you find another one.
Cheers 🍻 buddy
Epiphone still produce the SG Custom
@@StevieZero Not the three pickup ivory color version like they did years ago.
They haven't disappeared from the planet there's plenty for sale on EB and other guitar dealers will have them...You should buy one,,, life's too short ✌️💜
Thanks Lemi, love your bluesy tones, you can make any guitar sing. You need to get your apprentice camera-lady back as the video quality and angles were perfect.
Thanks for that feedback, my daughter wasn't available to do the filming. Oh well. Hopefully she will do the next one. Cheers 🍻
Nice one! You took the words right out of my mouth when you mentioned Sister Rosetta Tharpe! One of my favourite gospel blues guitarists and singer/songwriters.
Excellent,cheers for your feedback 👍
Beautiful guitar, and great playing! That's a keeper, for sure!!
Many thanks buddy 👍
I've always liked the look of the three pickups SGs and Les Pauls. That HB is a great looking instrument
Cheers 🍻 buddy
Always loved that color w/gold hardware 😉👍👍
Price is "UNREAL" eh..?😃👍SCORE Lem😎👍👍
Your making great sounds 😎👍👍
😎✌👍❤🖖
Nice one Richard 👍 👌 👏
Like you i have wanted one of these for a while. Sadly HB is not available here in Oz, the Epiphone version is quite expensive, one day maybe. Another great vid Lem, staya cool.
Sorry to hear that,
Try looking on ebay or the equivalent for a second hand one.
Good luck 👍
Man i looked at that a while ago... stop making me want more guitars! great playing mate
@@geew1621 😆 🤣
Cheers 🍻
hiya Lem, good to see you again
Hi yah Frank
Love your content, I have been playing Gibson and Fenders all my life, and recently discovered the Yamaha Revstar Standard. The build quality is excellent and is a fraction of the price of a Les Paul. You should check out the P90 model.
@jimbyers8411 many thanks for your feedback buddy 👍
Only thing better than 2 humbuckers are 3 humbuckers.
I have one too.
But the fretboard is quite a light laurel.
Im gonna stain it with double black wood stain..
I've put a vibrola on it too.
I love this axe.
The baseball neck is like the 63 original one's.
Jimmy Hendrix owned a 63 de luxe SG in vintage white too.
With a large vibrola on it.
Awesome feedback,
I love the idea of a vibrola fitted to your axe.
Cheers buddy 👍 👌
New video in the works any time soon? Hope you're doing well Lem. All the best from the USA.
@geoffreynenninger
Hi Geoffrey,
I had some real challenges I had to face and overcome, and I expect to upload a video very soon. Thank you kindly 🙏 ☺️
lovely, i recommend a lil reverb, hall, plate, or spring 65 action on that, with the treb a lil down and some bass up, middle user prefrences imo but, just sounds a bit, not full? idk, i know it aint the guitar, so it has to be some settings, all love tho, love the RNB feel
Cheers for your feedback and comments and suggestions 👍 thanks ✅️
What is your signal chain? The tone is magic, if thats a B stock the quality is amazing..
I was using my fender blues junior 15watt amp and the clone and a graphic equaliser with the gain slightly turned up on the amp.
Cheers buddy 👍
Can't go wrong with a blues junior and a klone, look forward to your next vid.
Does it have neck dive issues? Often SGs do...also Lem,, her name was Sister Rosetta Tharpe, not Sharpe...easy mistake
Hi, yes I agree, her name is sister Rossetta Tharpe, which I stated in the description on this upload.
Plus she weights 7lbs with no neck dive.
Thanks for your feedback 👍
@@lem432 Its a pretty guitar
Stay busy lemi 👍
I will try buddy,
Many thanks.
Now how can you beat that? Question being, are the pickups high output? Seth Lover's were usually under 8k. That's what I prefer anyway. Low output pickups, high gain amp. You know, kinda like a man named Jimi dug! But that sure is a sweet guitar!
Cheers buddy 👍
Regarding the pickups not sure.
But I will say its not low out put.
Sound great cranked. 👍
Alnico 5 LAF. By Roswell.
They sound great for jazz, blues and rock particularly.
