These two are phenomenal. Been a fan for over 10 years and they just get better and better. They are incredibly talented and the lead singer, Tyler Joseph is a master lyricist. he speaks in metaphor upon metaphor and can make you connect deeply to these songs. I would listen to everything through the lens of mental health if you can and many of these lyrics are incredibly deep and powerful words about Tylers own journey. Josh, the drummer is one of the best in the industry and is such a compliment to Tyler. From this album, I would suggest checking out Fall Away (my personal fave from this album), Implicit Demand for Proof, Addict with a Pen, Taxi Cab, Before You Start Your Day. Subbing for more Tøp. If you want some brilliant live performances checkout anything live at Fox Theatre!

I’ll sub to watch you go down this rabbit hole. If you staying with this album I suggest Addict With a Pen, Taxi Cab, air Catcher and Before You Start Your Day. Personally I like listening to this album from beginning to end because it does have a journey to it. If yo want to skip across albums I suggest going to vessel and listening to Ode to Sleep , Holding On To You, Migraine and Car Radio. In that order.

This is such an amazing early TOP track, and it always gives me goosebumps. It's so wild, how absolutely unique their sound has been from the very beginning! For this album, there were three band members: Tyler Joseph, the lead singer, and his friends Chris and Nick. Shortly after this album, however, Chris and Nick left, and the current drummer, Josh Dun, joined, making it the duo we know today! They have 7 albums out now to date, I think, full of music that is just as lyrically and sonically incredible as this. They mash up basically every genre known to man, often within the same song, so you never know what they're going to throw at you next. I can promise that their catalog is a rabbit hole more than worth your time going down! I'm not sure what music you've all heard of theirs so far, but if you haven't, I would HIGHLY recommend checking out "Ode To Sleep" (which is kind of a mini documentary of their story), "Holding On To You", "Guns For Hands", and "Migraine", all from their label debut album, Vessel. They're all amazing, but honestly, they never miss if you ask me!

I have a great story of seeing Heart. I worked in a 15k arena. Was sitting back stage on a electrical transformer. Stage was elevated 4 feet so me and the building electrician were totally hidden in the dark. Nancy Wilson was wearing a tube top while playing. She is also well endowed. Before going back out to play encore she takes towel to wipe accumulated sweat from her chest. Although nothing was real visible, I thought I was gonna lose Skeeter. Such is live rock and roll. Young person game.

No bad songs by TOP...if you liked this one, the rabbit hole journey for you both would be amazing for each of you...this song is close to 16 years old, this is the tip of the iceberg...new album came out last May...no bad tracks...anywhere...at all. "Car Radio" would be a great next song for you...then "Ode to Sleep"...then go anywhere in the history of their releases.

T O P are great. Only 2 of them. They do use backing tracks, but play there own instruments. Tyler writes there own music much of it deals things going on in his mind . Josh is one of the better drummers out there today. Try migraine in the live room. Would love to see you break that one down.

Im making this comment on January 7th, the 5th anniversary of Neil’s passing. The documentary you’re speaking of was long before Neil’s death. Neil died from a particularly aggressive, deadly form of brain cancer called glioblastoma. Same disease took a close friend of mine 18 months later. Neil died January 7, 2020. They stopped touring in 2015.

I saw them on this tour at Toads Place New Haven Ct. Hardly anyone there. They played it all note for note. That cymbal part in the beginning was memorable because Dave tossed his China boy onto the stage almost killing a spectator.

I wonder what the problem is with Les Pauls? They're great guitars. It just isn't a great one for Dany because they are lead weights... and for a little girl, it's too heavy of a guitar.

I''m not going to request a Rush song, I'm a big fan, I saw them play at my high school with John Rutsey on drums. I want to introduce you to another Canadian band from the same time and place, Max Webster (that's the band name, not the front man). Rush and Max Webster toured together alot in the 70s with Max as opener. You may have heard of Kim Mitchell, he was the leader of the band and went on to a moderately sucsessful solo career, he still tours actually. Max Webster broke up in about 1980, they were't getting much support from their label for touring, so they were't getting exposure in Europe and most of the southern USA. They broke up because of frustration, and they were a great band. There was a time I thought Max would go further than Rush. I'm going to recomend a song called "Battlescar"from their last album. It was actually recorded after the breakup, but Kim recorded one more album as Max Webster with mostly session guys. The original guys did get together for that one track however, iit contains, an easter egg that makes it worth a listen. Thanks for reacting to Rush! I am a newish fan and just love the live performance videos, because it really showcases their talent. As for Neil, the timeline is that he didn't know he was sick until one year after their final tour (so in 2016). Prior that that, he wasn't ill, although he lost his wife and daughter within a year in the late 1990s. Geddy wrote his memoir in 2023 and he talks about how Neil retired in 2015, and some months later, he and Alex got an email from Neil announcing that he had cancer. It was brain cancer. He was only given about 18 months but lived for 3-1/2 years. Geddy and Alex visited Neil in California (where he lived with his second wife and young daughter) throughout his illness, and out of respect for Neil's wishes, they kept it quiet. Neil passed away in January of 2020. Since that time, people have asked Geddy and Alex if they will perform again as Rush with a different drummer. Alex has stated in recent interviews that he has no desire to tour anymore (he has arthritis and other health issues). Alex plays in a project called Envy of None. Geddy has said he wants to make more music, but he has written 3 books since 2018 (soon to be 4 in 2025). These two have been best friends since age 13, and Alex also said that he and Geddy have been jamming to Rush songs at Geddy's house just for fun. Whatever they decide to do at this point, their legacy is secure. I am so glad we have these great concert videos to see their synergy as a three-piece.

the thing with MTV VMA was they were not getting an award but were invited they really didn't know who they were so they put the girls on a side stage and they absolutely killed it.

A buddy of mine saw The Warning at a festival 2021. Told me about them in 2022. I was hooked on TH-cam videos immediately. Since then I saw them LIVE once in 2023 and twice this year. I'm 57 and have never been this crazy about a band ever!!!

No matter how many times I've seen this, can't get over the cuteness of mini-Ale in her little shoes. Also, this is a reminder that not only can Dany shred, but she could shred like that 10 years ago.
