Hey uhm I know it's been 6 months since this video but I'm running out of ideas A friend of mine has a "xfx rx 580 gtr xxx" that is overheating. He had it for 4-5 years. The fans seems to be spinning weakly. The PC recognizes the temperature to be 93° but the fan just don't spin fast. Tried to change fan speed in the settings and they cannot be controlled. Tried to change the thermal paste and maybe I made it a bit worse? Could be the increasing summer heat tho. Updated video card driver And nothing works. I don't even know what I could text next. I'm at the point of suggesting him to get a big fan and point it on the gpu

I just sold with q9550. I miss it, because the system looked so unique, but I didn´t seriously overclocked and used it anymore, than maintenance. It´s a whole other asthetic style than RGB with red Cougar psu and blue Hynix RAM fan and the pahse LED, when using that gear energy saving program.

Good video. I was so confused with my sticks (32GB DIMMs, Hynix c-die 16Gbit, Dual Rank). Went from 3200@16-19-19-38 to 4533@20-23-23-40 but tertiaries are so confusing. In theory the _dd timings shouldnt even do nothing when using only two dimms but it doesnt boot if I set them too low.

nice overclock, currently I'm running a 2500k at 5.9ghz @ 1.43v with an asus p8p67 ws revolution. I'm planning to get a 3770k as a stop gap solution for gaming soon. btw, you can restart explorer from the task manager by going file -> create new task -> explorer.exe

First hand iv delt with the shorting of other componants i have a server that has a ext board PCIE that attaches t othe card i have and i went through 3 of those PCBs the PCIE port would just die and my working card no longer got power from it thus replacing it im so glad it dident go any further than that as the adaptors are quite cheap for the DL380p servers

miniature models don't have the same aerodynamics. You have to be very careful about how you interpret results from small scale designs to larger scale designs.

TBH I'd rather see more of your plane(s) than clips of real F-111s on loop. All the details you've put into this are very interesting.

After recording the video i talked to Asyq and he told me that the design won't be quite "open source" as i assumed. he wants to avoid a situation of someone rebranding the project for themselves and effectively stealing it. therefore the design files themselves won't be public though the schematics will be. to get an E-Power you will have to put in a request and then once enough people have put in requests a batch is made and delivered to everyone who ordered. again if you want more info on this project you can look for any updates on Asyq's channel directly. www.youtube.com/@Asyq

Hi! I have the same problem with my own GTX580 based E-power, it doesn't have FB voltage with or without resistor. The controller is very similar (APW7088), it has supply voltage (12V) and enable/softstart with forced 3.3v and nothing happens, 0v vmem output.

Regarding memory, it's very strange that 3600 was the maximum in your case because I managed to achieve a stable 3733 16-22-22-42 on a cheaper Asus Z270P with 4x4GB OEM Samsung. Moreover, the same result was obtained with 2x8GB Micron Rev. E. Did they really update something with the release of the 200 series boards to the point that it affected the budget Z270?

You mentioned "i did not heat gun it long enough" grabbed my kids old gtx 650 ti and dropped 375 degrees on it for about 15 minutes, you can see the top of the solder go from a dark meatal color to a bight silver sheen on top, that's when I turned it off and let it set. it works now!!! Do you still work on GPU's I got a HD 7950 I wanted to send to you. it had a fan controller issue and I fried something on it and cant figure it out.
