@@ChrisSanford-o6y How does it sound awful? I’ve gotten dozens of other compliments w/ people saying it’s a great tone! This guitar is the best sounding guitar I have. The amp sim/stompbox FX were just thru Logic… So that maybe contributed to the tone not sounding the absolute best. I now use STL Tones Amp Hub & Amplitude 5 CS for my amp sims now.

@@chrissanford5483 Why-because it’s a Squier? It’s a vintage 1984 Japanese-made Squier SQ series. The most sought-after Squiers. As they’re made w/ American/Japanese Fender parts. This guitar is worth $1;500.

@@mrsleepykatcodm145 No, I do not… I figured it out by ear. It’s really not difficult to figure out. I did it in 30secs. Slow the video down to .5 and concentrate on each note. Don’t worry about playing the riff correctly just yet. Just find the root notes! Then, once you’ve done that-focus on the picking pattern.

@@BenoitAdam2 Hmm, I’m unsure! You could try it out yourself. This is a super hard song to play. I was amazed that I could pull it off 5-6yrs ago. I’m so rusty at guitar now that I don’t think I could play it anymore!

I used a preset in Logic. I can’t recall what it was. It was called “heavy British” or something. It’s one of the pre-built-in amp/pedal plugins.

Cheers, Tom! I unfortunately don’t have the guitar anymore… I sold it last year. I ended up not playing it hardly ever-so I thought it’d best go to someone who appreciated it more than me. But I do kind of regret selling it.

Sorry… I don’t have the time nor energy to write one out. Try attempting to figure it out by ear. I am a sh*tty guitarist-and I was able to isolate all the notes in my head & figure it out!

@@alanwarren4587 Thanks! Yes, McGeoch did play it on a 12-string. I don’t have one, so alas I had to make do with a standard 6 string.
