I think it's because of the Lever.🤔
...but why does the trigger not wiggle on other lever actions?
👍Awesome video 🇺🇸 💪
Thank you so much for your kind words!!
From where I'm sitting, the markings on both look like rust. The narrator speaks of camouflage. No Way!
LOL, so I guess the real question is: Where are you sitting?🤣
Bla bla bla
Which part did you have difficulty understanding?
Love the video!!! The VP9 looks amazing and the fact you get two is like the best of both worlds. Keep working on your German.
Danke Schoen!!
If you want to learn the difference between a polymer and a steel frame guns - just rattle them from side to side. I own a Q4 SF and purchased a PDP-F 4” for my beloved wifie (she has issues with racking of a standard springed slide). And yes - there IS a difference :)
The PDP-F is a great gun, but it is NOT a Q4SF....kinda like my Casio is a great watch, but it is not a Rolex.
This guy loves to hear himself talk
I'll try not to be insulted by your speak.......if you sign up for Babbel! I'm surprised they camo printed the slides, not typical German fashion sense.
Danke Schein 😎
Wow 🤩 I’m impressed with your German and the jacket is a nice touch!! Great video and demonstration of the HK set !! Wonder who the lucky 🍀 person will be to get the DoctorTactical special edition set @ Guntry?! 🎉
Danke Schein!!
I was thinking of heading over there tomorrow, then your video popped up. All i could think was, “ omg….what he buy now”. 😂. Maybe i can check out the super special edition.
I'll be delivering it back to them tomorrow...if I can stop myself from buying it😎. Thanks for the comment.
Always liked the VP9, it caused a stir when it was initially released. I think this set would've been great if it was the VP9 and VP9sk to complinent Home defense and EDC, but I get what they're a tribute to. Very nice either way. 👍
The only downside was that they were not cut for optics...otherwise it is a cool collector's set.
It's the first lever gun I've ever owned and I'm super happy with it. Got it for 1050 so a little under retail too. Thing is a laser beam and has no recoil at all. Only thing, when I first got it I took it out the box to show my buddy at my home, put it back in the box and got it out a week later to go shoot, had surface rust spots on the reciever and some spots already starting on the barrel. Really wouldn't have thought stainless steel would have rusted while in a box a week after purchasing, so make sure you keep it oiled and kept in a good place where it won't rust.
I am glad you're enjoying your 1854. I am very happy with mine as well. I have not noticed any rust, and I agree that you should expect a stainless steel gun to be more rust resistant. I will check mine carefully. Thank you for the heads up.
@DrTac I do live at the coast so some more salt in the air for me than others but yeah definitely keep it oiled when it's stored
@DrTac also think it's just a ss coating not ss thru and thru
I just bought the copperhead k and brought the lantac dragon wolfman brake was very nervous that it would be pinned like yours but luckily mine came off easily
I was thinking about purchasing this and doing an upper swap with 8” barrel. Is the mpx copperhead k lower compatible with a standard mpx upper?
Yes you can put a mpx upper on the copperhead k lower ive read about multiple people doing this
@@iwetardid78 definitely going to try it now. Thanks!
@@dj80365 the problem is finding the upper lol idk how east they arebto get good luck though
Don't give up your day job
I just received 500 rounds of their new match ammo as well. If I run into some of the same issues that you have I might just try and pull some of the loads from one box and see what exactly is going on.
Thanks for the video interesting info. CZs are known to have tight tolerances on their barrels and chambers.
Glad you enjoyed the video. Interestingly, a good friend of mine reported that the ammo worked fine in his CZ Czechmate. On a separate note, I’ve been told that Staccato is now aware of the issue and are making changes.
all those revolvers are 357. however you hold revolver do same for pistol that's why you shoot one handed.
The Kimber K6XS and the Ruger LCRX are both 38s.
Might have been one bad box of ammo. It happens with any production product. I’d be tempted to run several different lot numbers of the Staccato before coming to that conclusion. Other than that, an interesting video.
I actually had the same thought, but I spoke with others that have had the same problems, especially with Caniks and CZ's, so I don't think it's a one batch issue. I'm glad you enjoyed the video,.
The Colts are better than these though, imo; the Cobra and King Cobra... 🐍 And they cost the same, or less.
So, I have a experience with both and I would have to say that the King Cobra pales in comparison to the K6S, based on their primary purpose; to be the smallest 6 shot 357 for deep concealment/pocket carry. While both are undeniably great guns, the Kimber is considerably smaller and has a better trigger (I can say this because I have spent a lot of time shooting them side by side). As for fit, finish, and ergonomics...I'd give it to the kimber, but damn the Colt is beautiful. Hold them side-by-side and tell me I'm wrong😉. Thank you for your comment, I think you may have inspired me to do a Colt Vs Kimber Video!! ...that is once I fix the G-d Damned grip on my Kimber😎
@@DrTac Hmmm... You may be right; I've never actually physically compared the two - hands-on. I only have a .38 Special Colt Cobra - so I can't speak specifically for the King Cobra. But the standard Cobra has a better grip for me; a larger sized grip that increases the trigger distance (reach) better than any of the other small framed revolvers out there on the market - which is better for my larger hands... The Kimbers have a much smaller grip (at least stock) - and I've heard that they don't have many aftermarket options. I've never really liked their blocky looks either - but that's just aesthetics. Is the trigger on the Kimbers realistically better?... I'm unsure - but the Cobra has a very short pull and flat-faced trigger, which makes it very accurate. It's sight picture - with it's red fiber optic front sight - also aides in it's accuracy... In fact, it's most likely the most accurate 2" barrel revolver I own. The only downside to it's trigger is it's weaker reset (unlike with a S&W, for example) - but this is something that can be mitigated through practice. The fit and finish IS better with the Kimbers though; I'll admit that... Their build quality is probably the best on the market. And some people don't really like the unusual bead-blasted finish of the Cobra (unlike with the King Cobra), but I don't mind it; I think it's designed for carry and to cut down on glare. I personally don't view the Cobras as pocket carries though; I think they're more designed for IWB carry - as they're a little larger and heavier. Yeah, so they both have their upsides and downsides, in my view... And yes, an in-depth comparison would probably be a good idea. 😏 Have a good day then.
Who's goin to be able to afford one staccatos are way over priced.
Actually, the price is one thing that I did not ding them for. Remember, this is not your typical range ammo, this is match-grade ammo, and compared to other match-grade ammo out there, I found them to be very reasonably and competitively priced...that is, if it allows your gun to cycle😉.
Thank you, Doctor... another excellent informative vid! I wonder if you've considered using a caliper to measure a box or two of all individual rounds for spec and consistency... and also whether: 1) the mags were loaded optimally with a tap to the mag side to line them up uniformly; 2) mag spring tensions are within high-end spec; 3) shell casings at the crimp are all perfectly round, full diameter; 4) feed ramps could benefit from a polish? Another thought: date stamp and production run numbers on boxes can sometimes help a manufacturer identify faulty materials, machinery, worker procedure, etc. Please keep us posted!
Whoa 😳 Staccato!! What a stark contrast seeing the test firing between the two rounds!! I would be interested in a future vid on the different types of ammunition. As always very informative and great content 🤓
Thank you. I'm sure this is just hiccup, since the product is new...now that they are aware of the problem, I'm sure it will be corrected in short order.
I got one and I want the leather holster, can you let me know where do I get it ? Thank you !
That holster is made by "Rogue Apparatus," but before you rush to get one, I am working on a comprehensive holster mini-series. I no I'm not supposed to leak content,...but I would recommend "Falco" or "Wright Leather Works," as their leather that is against your skin, rides up higher, protecting you better from sharp parts like the hammer or beaver tail. I do not receive any compensation from them (although they have sent me products for review), but in the discussion section of this video should be discount codes for both compznies, The Rogue Apparatus one is pretty though. Please let me know what you decide to go with and what you think of it,
The rough draft title for this video would've been hilarious! Still funny that you mentioned it lol

Looks delicious. Enjoy. 🤗
Oh it was, and I did😎
As someone who has used lasers for years, I have one word of hard advice: DO NOT STAND IN FRONT OF A MIRROR (as this fellow does) AND POINT IT AT YOUR OWN REFLECTION. If that laser passes across your eye only briefly, it will hurt.
I use very high powered lasers on a day to day basis and actually lecture on advanced surgical techniques utilizing diode, CO2, ND:Yag, Er:YAG, YSGG:Yag, and Cr:Yag lasers internationally...you're not wrong...the optimal part is: Don't let the columnated light get in your eye. Thank you so much for sharing the safety tip... ...Conversely, if you ever find yourself in a defensive shooting situation, don't worry about hitting your assailant in the eyes with the laser or a JHP!! ;D
slow motion shows your pulling a little more after trigger goes off
I am suing for malpractice.
LOL!! Great comment!!
He makes some good points but presentation wise is way too wordy. Buries his info under way too much talking.
Glocks may be old school but the gen 5 Glocks when it comes to a carry gun outperforms all others. No it's not a target pistol but at self defense distance it us very fasr
I too am a Glock fan boy...but a realistic fan boy...yes, gen 5 Glocks make great carry guns, but there is no way any knowledgeable gun person can agree that they outperform all others. I respect your enthusiasm and emotion, but I think you may have gotten a bit over excited with this hyperbolic comment. All that said, you are right, in that Glocks are great guns.
haven't heard a lot of folks having issues with the scorpions - far more on the sigs - which was interesting to hear
Definitely untrue. The CZ Scorpion K...which is the comparable model to the Sig Copperhead series, has been incredibly problematic and unreliable. Having experienced the problems 1st hand (see following video link), I can also attest to the fact that dealing with CZ Customer Care was a nightmare compared to dealing with Sig's Customer Care....and just to be clear, I am a big CZ fan, and have featured multiple CZ firearms in videos, but I would be remiss not to share the bad as well. Having experience with both guns, I would take the Sig Copperhead K all day long over the CZ Scorpion K. The Scorpion's only advantage is that it is considerably less expensive. th-cam.com/video/noA_le_XH7U/w-d-xo.htmlsi=O1hJt-BxFN2B0rwT
@@DrTac much appreciated, Dr! I really need the feedback because i’m in PCC dilemma land - I could get a scorpion for about 650 now but would need to add as much as that in what I deem essential upgrades and I really value reliability. Truth be told I also prefer metal guns (love my SP-01 as an example) so I will take a good look at your channel - which I just happened to discover today! Thanks again I do appreciate you taking the time to write back.
I suppose you could use as a bed stand and have on single action leave safety on kinda what i thought i had one in my hands the other day and wow it is nice love idea of staccato but 2500 prodigy 1500 lots of problems
I'm surprised that the radiation didn't wash out the whole scan when you scan metal parts. This is one is a unique review for sure :D
Thank you for your comment. It all comes down to which metals were used, and how dense they were.
I'm sorry I bought it for the extra round which doesn't mean much.
If Kimber had better aftermarket grip support it would be better. The three grips they have don't quite fit. If Pachmayr or Hogue had a Tamer grip that fit it would be incredible. Everything else about the K6sx is otherwise a great revolver.
I'm okay with the grip on the K6xs, it's the K6s that I'm having the issue with. I'm on the hunt for a solution...I'll post it when I find it.
@@DrTac Thank you!!!!!
I sold my k6xs lol and got a Glock 30 gen 5 … the Kimber has cylinder lock up and then after I got it back firing pin broke lol so yea no more Kimber for me bud
That's awful. I will be on the lookout for thosse problems and I will definitely report them if I run into them. Thank you for sharing.
Lost faith in him when he said he liked the Yankee Marshal, stopped watching and came to comment this
LOL, thanks for the super helpful comment.
K6XS is a deep concealed carry piece for ankle, pocket, iwb, or shoulder holsters. Equivalent to the classic Colt Agents and Cobras discontinued in 1999 with the bolt on hammer shroud and the holy grail Magnum Carry. The K6S and K6 SADA are owb holster guns for concealment or open duty carry as counterparts to the classic Colt D frame Detective Special, Police Positive, and Diamondback. At 7:00 you described "countersunk chambers," a custom feature of old gold classic S&Ws like the Model 66 'no dash.' Similar to but less effective than chamfering. I pocket carry as you do using the K6XS, a 642 or 637 without the hillarylocks. Try out the K6S with the Hogue Bantum grip that came with the XS, it should enhance handling ergonomics and shooting with +P and .357 considerably.
Interestingly, while the K6XS is almost a 1/2 pound lighter than the K6S, it is actually longer, taller, and wider than the K6S (with the 2" barrel, obviously)...in other words, the K6XS is actually larger than the K6S in every dimension, but it carries nicely because it's lighter. I will look into the Hogue Bantum grip, thank you for the recommendation.
@@DrTac You have the Hogue Bantum grips Doc, it came oem on the K6XS just swap it out onto the K6S to determine if you like it on that gun.
Hmm 🤔 Kimber K6XS has great features for a carry especially with the last holster you demonstrated. I will have to add that one to my list to test fire!! 👍🏼 Thank you as always for the knowledge and entertainment!!!
I aim to please😉
