here i am 4 years later doing the opposite of this. (Nvidia to AMD) especially since nowadays AMD is way better when it comes to price to performance (used GPU) and no its not as risky as people say it is. AMD is also more ethical than Nvidia.

Anyone know why when I try to go into safe mode my pc stays on and my monitor black screens and doesn’t come on?

Step one: Take card out of PCIe slot. Step two: Put new card into PCIe slot.

I'm a little late to the party here, but I have a question about this. I recently bought a rtx 3080 that unfortunately doesn't work under load, so I've decided I am going to use my 5700xt as an intermediate whilst I wait for a new card. I have a amd cpu, when time comes and I get a new nvidia gpu, do I need to think about anything special when I am uninstalling the amd drivers for the gpu considering both the gpu and cpu will be from amd at that point. Also, my cpu has integrated graphics, does that affect it in any way? Thanks in advance.
