Is recovery a destination or a journey?
Linda and Lisa are married and have both (yes both) been on a severe rollercoaster of health issues including POTS, vaccine injury, multiple Long Covid symptoms and more. At the worst point, Lisa's parents needed to move in to help them care for their child and feed themselves. What have they learned about their individual health issues and do they call themselves recovered now that they are back living a new version of their life?

I am so honoured to have walked along the recovery path with Rebekah for over 3 years. She has chosen to not take any drugs, despite having complex MCAS symptoms and a terrible response to the vaccine booster, and worked on her mind and body in a way that helped her focus on safety for the whole thing. Its a truly inspirational story that will resonate for so many. Our programme can be found on...

    What an achievement Linda and Lisa! I love that behind what look like "ordinary" people there lies incredible strength, huge acts of bravery and perseverance - invisible to us all and only really known about by the individual who achieved it. Some people write famous novels, some people become famous film stars, some people are world class athletes - but most people's achievements are not so noticeable or acknowledged. Thank you so much Lisa & Linda for sharing your incredible journey with us. You are both stars ✨

    Loving this! I'm v-injured and became worse with a covid infection last year. It's a struggle and no idea,what yo do because there is do much conflict, conspiracies and political crap, it's difficult to heal. ❤ there are thousands of us that still do not get taken seriously, do not have a diagnosis despite having disturbing blood work and MRI finds.

    Definitely sounds like the needle wasnt aspirated. Glad Tara was helped. My problem was not 5 minutes later, I walked home the 3 miles from the first Pfizer feeling fine and was the next day, I couldnt get out of bed, that was May 2021. Saw a consultant who straight away said quite probably the Pfizer but I knew it was and I had an EMG and MRI to confirm it. Sadly over the last three years I have gradually got worse. Every step is walking on hot broken glass with the neuropathy and apart from that this terrible feeling of inflammation as if the neuropathy has spread into my spine. In some ways I am lucky being 77 and hopefully not many more years to put up with this. Life is pretty horrible and no amount of love I am afraid would help me. It made a refreshing change to see someone so enthusiastic and feeling well now. I am on an Injury group in the UK which was recently given charity status and we are represented by the same barristers as the Post Office victims. Some of them are so poorly, I guess I was lucky to get away with this and not MND, heart disease and turbo cancers which they are now suffering as a consequence, mainly from the AZ. There are even amputees. Thank you again for your video, it made a refreshing change. We have a Facebook page if anyone is interested which ironically is where I saw this video facebook.com/groups/955670608361471

    Thank you so much Suzy for what you do. I have POTS and I have found this practice to be very relaxing and calming. I am going to be joining your RRR program. And thank you so much for making it affordable whereas so many people charge a lot of money for their programs/subscriptions fully knowing many of us LC, POTS, ME/CFS people aren't working and have spent lots of money on medical care. There is no price tag on health, but you make accessing truly healing exercises very affordable! ❤️

    I'm seeing a long covid specialist and first round of treatment he has me on is: Ivermectin Nattokinase Bromelin Vit D3 K2 Magnesium glycinate Other recommendations: Keto diet or just adding high quality fats to your diet. The fats help coat and protect the cells making them more resilient. Cold water plunges with the approval of cardiologist. 30 minutes of direct sun at least 3x per week Infrared sauna Hyperbaric oxygen chamber. I have all the symptoms she mentioned so praying this treatment plan works.

    Thank you both so much for this interview. I have struggled to work through my feelings as an ex health care professional with Long Covid, as to why I found it so hard to work within a system that had no time for empathy and listening to the patient story. This interview really validated my feelings and I can start to appreciate that may be it was not me that was broken in my approach to managing vulnerable families but the system. I really hope one day I can use the 25 years of experience I gained to help others again but that may be some time away yet. Carolyn, I have spent 2 1/2 years not being able to cry and it is slowly coming back! While I still have a long way to go in my recovery journey there are glimmers of hope that I am clinging on to.

    Im on month 8 of long covid . So I've been meditating now for about 5 months. But more recently been using it properly after hearing about brain training. Anyway I've never once cried while meditating but when you started talking about giving thanks to the body I just started crying and couldn't stop. . Guessing that's a really helpful important release of emotions? Unexpected

    • @suzyboltyogaforlongcovid
      @suzyboltyogaforlongcovid 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes……❤❤❤❤it is a tricky thing to give thanks to the body when it feels like it’s letting us down or separate from us - but actually the body is us - your body is you - and it’s trying really hard to sort the mess out. Harder than we will ever know. So taking a moment to appreciate this can be really powerful - and an opportunity to come ‘home’ to ourselves. Xxx

    Dr Glynne please speak slower. I have been public health speaker for 25 years. Many can not follow you and you have many important things to say. As we get older we need slower speach eapecially when trying to learn new things. Thanks for your work many young women need to hear this. I am near 70 and there was nothing when I was younger. We had to learn ourself as we went on. Should not be this way. We need more education on this subject. I have cfs myself 30 years so yes I understand all of this.
