2023 F150 Whipple 4x4 Dragy 1/4 mile 60-130
Spun in 4x4 1st into 2nd gear till around 60 mph. I’ve cut better 60ft and 0-60 on lower power. Mods below. Def has a better ET in it on prep surface.

i be hearing some rumors of lexus lsf being severely underrated and worthy to buy, and quicker than you think, but by this video alone im game. love the engine sound too, a lexus lsf is definitely on my bucket list

Did you have to do any tuning or anything after you installed?
@@cruzboitnott75 absolutely you need to tune for any type of boost. Whipple provides their own base tunes/handheld tuners or you can go with any reputable aftermarket tuners. I personally sent my pcm to hp tuners for full unlock and Kris Clark with Preaux tuning does my tunes.

@@gavincw these were 295/40r20. I currently run 295/50r20 it’s much better.
why do the torque converters have that funny moment at 6.5k rpm does it on all isf's notice at 0:15 the revs stay still for a second
@@Mikedysonx it’s something they all do when you raise the rev limit past oem redline of 6800. Some tuners claim to be able to lock the converter but I didn’t see a difference and I ran two different tunes during the time I owned my isf.
Think you can get into the 9s with this rig?
@@tescoshortage at this weight id need another 1-2 psi and traction. I’d bet I could get a 10.1-10.2 on a prepped track and a solid 60ft

Will the 10r80 transmission in these new trucks handle 700+ ? Wanting to build a regular cab short box and thinking about slapping a Whipple on it.
Most everyone/tuners claim they handle power to 800whp pretty well. I personally know someone who has been at the 700-800whp level for awhile and tortures their truck and not had one transmission issue. I had mine built solely bc I plan the do a built bottom end and turn it up to 950-1000whp

Sick!! Love these boosted f150s. is this entire pull kept in 4Hi where it locks the axles or does it act more like an AWD car and distributes the power as it deems fit? Any driveline mods besides the lowering? I know some people change to a Mustang rear LSD.
@@andrews2987 yes it’s left in 4hi. No driveline mods have been done. I do plan to do a LSD at some point. Some people use the E locker for digs but I’ve never used it and don’t plan to. A lot of 21+ f150 making 1000whp+ on the stock driveline (axles, tcase etc) with no issues.
@@tcmcclure2323check out SPD, they have an e locker relay kit that by passes the 20mph limiter
@@NicPapagiorgioI’m sure the locker helps, but I don’t want to nuke my rear end using the E locker. I’ll get an LSD eventually
@@tcmcclure2323 ** spell check on my post earlier-The company is SPE.***You definitely won't kill the diff. What kills the elockers is turning with it on and off road spinning and grabbing. Straight line highly doubt you'll ever hurt it. Are you 3.73s with the 9.75? If so, its almost an f250 axle, in a vehicle 2/3s the weight
@ yes sir I am 9.75 with 3.73. That makes sense, obviously don’t turn on pavement with it but I guess I’m just pussy footing around. Maybe I’ll give a try next dragy run. Thanks for the info man!

I always prefer a smooth throttle application during donuts/burnouts than stabby stabby vroom vroom. I think it sounds better and shows more skill. To each their own.
Smooth throttle means the driver would actually complete a donut/drift, which i dont think these takeover people want to achieve. It's about not being in control or being smooth. Just sound and smoke (even though this doesnt sound that good when stabbing the throttle)

I’m so sorry I don’t even remember the names of the plants. I took this tank down a couple of years ago after I got a terrible algae bloom I couldn’t get the tank to turn back around.

So I have a 13 ISF in USB with Hayward and Scott exhaust on swift Springs just left the computer shift…..It’s usually faster than I am. 😝
@@timbrown9731 letting the car shift while in drive it has a pause between shifts, and also when you are tuned it still shifts at 6800 rpm. Most tuned isfs are 7200-7400 rpm so it would negate all that headroom not using manual mode.

Love this brother. I currently have the money and credit to afford a lot of cars that people drool over in 2024 from a luxury stand point to a tuner toy. From type R Civic's, mk8 Golf R, M340i, 840i, rs3, c63, all these are within reach and more. But I just told the Wife, that I rather go for an IsF and make it my daily. I can get a luxury cruiser later. The F came out when I was in my senior year in high school, and while other people were dreaming about Stangs's, Wrx's, Camaro's, etc. I would spend days at a time looking up pictures and videos about the F. I will have one soon, and which ever I get, will never be sold again.
What fuel was this? Thats some crazy stuff for a big n/a car.

Hey brotha. I’ve commented on your channel before I just test drove my first ISF and I noticed the transmission was pretty slow and somewhat jerky when driving slowly in manual mode is this normal?
yes this is the torque converter that needs to lock if you are bringing it to redline or close to it, shifts are within .1 seconds.
