Zeigler Boulevard Widening Project
We recently completed work on the 2nd Phase of the Zeigler Blvd. Widening Project - a $24 million effort that expanded the roadway from two lanes to five between Athey Road and Forest Hill Drive. The project also included several other enhancements along this section of Zeigler Blvd., like additional turning lanes, dedicated bicycle lanes, new sidewalks, improved curb and gutter features, drainage improvements, utility upgrades and new traffic signals at key intersections.
Both phases of the project were supported by a combination of federal, state and local dollars, including federal transportation funds received through the Mobile Metropolitan Planning Organization. Local funds were contributed by the City of Mobile and Mobile County through its Pay-As-You-Go Transportation Improvement Program.

Under his administration, CRIME rose to record levels ( homicide rates are higher here than LA or San Fran). Except for the year he annexed west Mobile, population has fallen every year and poverty has increased. Blight has increased and the City is a trashy, thug filled shell of what it used to be...but, MY, isn't Downtown nice !

Let me begin by saying, along with the vast majority of Mobilians....good riddance to William Stimpson and anyone in City Council who supports him. Whereas: William Stimpson, acting in his capacity as Mayor of Mobile, Alabama, failed to pay his public servants in the areas of public health & safety... Whereas & Thereto: William Stimpson owes back-pay plus taxes, fees, & interest to same...compounded daily. Whereas: On a Mayor's salary, William Stimpson has, somehow, amassed personal weath into the multi-millions on a Mayor's pay; aka roughly $125,000 per year. Whereas: Willful neglect and destruction and misuse of PUBLIC or MILITARY MUNICIPAL PROPERTIES...even that which is committed by government officials...is a crime, and is punishable by applicable laws. That being said, any and all of said Municipal Properties and grounds herein implied will be fully restored to their original beauty and grandeur at costs to William Stimpson, City Council members, Sabre Demolition, Oak View Group and their Associates and Families; including but not limited to via irrevocable Trusts, etc. Whereas: On his watch, William Stimpson neglected his official duties and allowed certain Municipal Properties to fall into disrepair, and/or purposefully damaged same, so that he and a few of his "yes, men" & "yes, women" could eventually and later try to profit from same; and.... Whereas: Said Municipal Properties were deemed sustainable and repairable; and... Whereas: As of late April of 2024, Oak View Group, in an attempt to sever themselves from Live Nation...their founding company...prior to fulfillment of their contractual obligations, is in a proxy takeover fight against Live Nation over the Rights to have Ticketmaster as their official and licensed "ticketing agent"; and so this and related actions render the original contract between Oak View Group (under Live Nation) and the City of Mobile and the State of Alabama null and void, until further notice...leaving the City of Mobile and the State of Alabama "holding the bag" in the form of a major debt of more than $300 Million owed. Whereas: Instead of fulfilling his official duties, William Stimpson preferred to have himself video-taped/recorded dressed in a white bear costume (aka "Sandy Bear") while he sprayed certain Mobilians with a water-gun as some sort of "punishment" for not cleaning their yards; and... Whereas: Recently, certain City Council members were seen entertaining and hosting a meeting with a member of the New York City Parks and Recreation department; the same who works under and is connected to the recently arrested Mayor of New York City; the same Mayor who is friends with and connected to the recently incarcerated Sean Combs, the same who is now charged with drug and sex trafficking, as well as related criminal activities. Whereas: William Stimpson is fully responsible and obligated to the City of Mobile and to the State of Alabama for same; AND until such improprieties regarding William Stimpson's dereliction of his official duties can be fully and correctly resolved... We ask and petition the Courts to freeze any and all assets belonging and pertaining to William Stimpson and to the family of William Stimpson, whether personal and/or marital and/or generational, for however long it takes, to remit in full any and all Court Ordered remedies, thereof...including, but not limited to, any and all that is owed to any and all financial institutions, thereto and herein implied.

Just no to red light cameras. Just like shotspotter, they sound good and they read good, but they cause more issues than they solve. I don't know how many times I've seen police at a traffic light refuse to stop someone who clearly ran a red light but rather just sit there and let it happen.

Mobile has lost population every year of his tenure except the year he incorporated west Mobile. Poverty is up, homicide rates here are higher than LA or San Fransisco. We have become a Potemkin City. There are some "nice" areas , but the rest of town is a littered thug filled mess.

Totally disrespectful and spoken with attitude after a talk with which he definitely didn't agree. It can only be assumed that whatever was spewed from his mouth was evil. Was it a curse?? There seems to be no one to call his hand nor hold him responsible on anything. I definitely feel that he should be called out and made to translate in English.

I care for a person who is non-ambulatory; I only see one thing he can play with. His mom and I have been wishing for a park that he can actually enjoy. Medal of Honor Park has adaptive swings. but they are too small for my client. I feel these parks are not inclusive if people in wheel chairs can't play. Does this park have rest rooms with adult changing tables? Adults who are physically and intellectually impaired still like to play like other children.

Nothing is ever going to change for the better until society comes back together and brings the western days back. When society stops living in fear, and stops being obedient, bootlicking cowards and starting to take action on our own is when it all changes for the better otherwise its just going to keep getting worse and worse.
