Hey you,
Nice that you came across my channel. I'm Iris from Austria and I'm a passionate calisthenics athlete, show performer @Team Alpha Bar and competition organizer for @World of Barheroes. In 2020 I also started coaching adults and giving workshops for teens.
I started calisthenics / street workout in spring 2017 and since than decided to promote the sport as much as I can and encourage others, especially girls to get started with these artistic movements.
On my channel you will find:

+ interesting facts about calisthenics
+ some general tips and tricks for your training

I honestly don’t get this. Just do gymnastics? What’s the point you’re just doing pommel horse and the bars without actually doing them. If you enjoy this type of workout then do the actual sport? Baffling.

The reason why we do Calisthenics instead of gymnastics (btw I used to do gymnastics in the past for many years) is that you can be a lot more creative than in gymnastics. Gymnastics gives you 1000 of detailed rules and limitations that entirely kill your own style. Calisthenics isn’t only a sport, it’s art - at least to a certain degree. And aside from that, if you don’t like it, just scroll over the video, I’m sure there’s plenty of things on TH-cam that entertain you! ☺️ wishing you a happy day! :)

Any tips on opening up our hip flexors? I struggle with leaning forward while doing the pancake stretch. Is this just something I need to be patient for?
@InternationalStrategy vinegar? Does that help with cramps or something? How do you use it yourself?
Hard to tell without seeing it but this takes time. It’s “normal” to not be able to do this right from the start. 😊 Also I’m confused that you say “the hip flexors” those shouldn’t be the problem actually if we speak of the same exercise 🤔 feel free to DM me on IG with a clip where you try it, maybe I can help :)
