  • I have been thinking a lot about A.I. videos. I am considering making some. I have no idea where to start.I do not know what software I need or what software I can trust.

This is a growing topic! You make some very sound points!
I shared a video on Instagram a few weeks ago using AI.

Unfortunately I am not on Instagram.

CGI, I am fine with - especially when it comes to stunts... as long as it's kept somewhat realistic. Believe it or not, the pros have a lot of ways to minimize the risk of stunt work, and they've been painting out rigging [wires] for years. I'd like to see them keep doing that.
As for free software? I have no idea.

If they do not use stunt people for the really dangerous stunts it makes more sense to me. I know they can minimize risk. Some software claims it is free. A lot of stuff claims to be free. Then in the fine print it says you have to pay in some way. I am not looking for permanently free. Just something I can make 1 or 2 videos to see if I would like to do more. It is something I am just thinking about doing for fun. Like my TH-cam channel.

@@hhplymouth9473 I'd recommend some google searches for "free ai software" "make ai videos for free" or something like that.

I’ve heard TH-cam is going to cut the A.I videos out.

I had not heard that. I think they should keep them. I also think they should be separate from real videos.People should know before they watch a video if it is produced by A.I.

I am not a fan of AI. I want real people. From what I've read and seen, TH-cam is, or will start to soon, identify AI videos as being "synthetically created" or something similar to that.

AI has SO MUCH potential and SO MANY possible applications outside of synthetic TH-cam videos.

@@TobyNorthEN It does... and I was mostly referring to its application in video. It COULD do wonders... but we all know it's gonna be used for nefarious purposes instead. It's human nature. SMH.

@@RoadReality I was just reading an article entitled, "Eye On AI" and IMO it leaves the reader feeling, if nothing else, very concerned. It addresses AI from the defense and international viewpoint and describes how evenly matched (or ahead of the US) China is.

@@TobyNorthEN Yeah, 'cause they're throwing computer cycles at it. Even with the US embargoing the high-dollar fancy chips, China is just throwing electricity and extra computers at the problem. Like I said... nefarious purposes.
Like I say about many things... it's not the tool, it's the user and their motives that cause a problem. An axe, for instance, can dig or break rocks, but it can also be used to hurt someone. It depends on the wielder of the axe. AI is the same way.
