    In the northern states they destroy the pavement, water stands in them and the freeze thaw cycle causing potholes. In Michigan we already have a serious pothole problem why would you want to cause more.

    China = cheap, bad standards. Tesla has been proven and battle tested with years of experience with safety in mind. I’d rather go with the Tesla all day, safety first.

      Your comment reflects the mentality of the western view of China. They neglect the fact that China has been quietly improving on and on, they have been caught off guard when slowly but surely China technology surpasses them to the point it's too little too late to catch up by imposing tariffs, etc.

    In The Netherlands we did something different, highways always have guard rails unless the surrounding space is flat for a vehicle to stop there and we also use thermoplastic paint with spaces between them that allow the paint to act like a bumpy strip.

    As these cars age, the stop start gimmick will become more obvious to drivers and passengers with increasing delays in restarting and the resulting vibrations. I also suspect that the added stress on the engines will shorten their longevity.

    I've never been in a car with auto stop start that wasn't horribly obvious about the engine shutting on and off. I'm taking the sound, the shake of the engine, and in some cases they fail entirely and you're just dead at a green light. "Advanced noise and vibration damping techniques" Only work effectively for so long, and even at their peak don't eliminate what they seek to do. These systems do not play a crucial role in the future of automobiles, and are mostly a gimmick the OEMs use for regulatory reasons

    Start stop is shitty mechanism that doesn't help the costumer, only the car manufacturers to achive "better" emissions. More wear is not ecological, and stop start batteries are expensive. And lets talk about how annoying it in daily driving.

    The cost reduction isn’t there for tiny homes, unfortunately. Unless you know someone who will let you live on their land, there’s no cost benefit. Otherwise you’re stuck renting a lot, paying for utilities and still making payments on the tiny home construction costs. Zero benefit. Not to mention the value of a home on wheels depreciates like an RV.

      Agree. If you rent a space for your tiny home, the rent will go up every year. I know of a mobile home park nearby that starts the space rent at $800 a month.
