G'day folks, thanks for joining Hopper, Myself, Josh and his Orange Steed for this action packed adventure in Kenilworth State Forest. The ride starts out with a classic fail from Juddy... (Surprise!) However... Juddy redeems himself at the up coming hillclimbs. There is some single track thrown in for good measure, some footage of Josh doing his thing and some picturesque forest to look at on ...

🎼They'll be coming down the mountain when they come, They'll be riding 2 big thumpers when they come,🎵 They'll be skidding down the mountain, and be telling a bit of a story and be heading to the Hotel when they come 🎶 Well something like that, part 2 of a series, running in reverse as one of my cameras stopped working and it was easier to edit this way. I could have binned this footage however...

Hopper and Juddy were on their way back from a great day riding with MadDog Josh and the Flying Pumkin. Juddy wore his body armour as Juddy has a tendency to stack it whilst getting radical. After our ride we hit the pub for a few coldies. Juddy being a total Wanka decides to take off his upper body armour to get comfortable, Juddy decided he will be OK on the ride home as the mountain trail ha...
The not so Official Doohickey Installation KLR 650
มุมมอง 161หลายเดือนก่อน
So you want to see how it's done by the Pro's... Not here you won't, dodgy as, but done right. Hopper gets booked in for day surgery, with some complications. It's a long video, however it seems to be in the ballpark for a doohickey installation. Juddy does his best to keep his s#%t together, racing the clock, battery, sd card data limit and an RS camera that really is RS. Thanks for watching, ...

It all started in the Glasshouse Mountains. I was chatting with my friend Josh, I was explaining how my investment in my TH-cam channel was growing and I wasn't sure where to turn next. What I was sure of was I didn't want to troll social media, I wanted the growth on my channel to be genuine interest in my content. Josh mentioned, " yeah they call that organic growth", I was like, I like organ...

Nice job, Juddy!
Are you trying to tell us you bought another motorcycle, and it is not a KLR?😢
Hey Juddy, how are ya….. you know how some people like to sit at the Mall and people watch?! We do that at home on TH-cam watching random dudes like you just doing your thing, thinking out loud 🤭😂 🤓🍿📺
Good talk bud,,we have to catch up 1 day
Looking forward to the announcement of the upcoming adventure Juddy 👍cheers 🍻
Thanks Mike 🙏
Good onya Juddy.
Cheers Grant 🍺
I know you work very hard on making your content Juddy. I know you love your KLR and it is fun to watch you learning to ride better. It sounds like Josh is a great friend and good influence on you. Thank you for the content.
Love the time-lapse Juddy, can't do that with my drone
@MrXrssv1 Awe Bummer Mike, its amazing how far technology has come, it boggles the mind where tech will be in another 50 years...thanks for the encouragement 🙏 mate, I hope your weekend is good to you.. ✌️😊
Onya Juddster glad ya liked that track mate 🤙💪
@MVDBR sure did my Brother 🙏 more adventures to come shortly I hope..
I noticed you up on those pegs on the single trail Juddy!! That’s where it’s at mate, nail that style of slow stuff and the open stuff will sort itself. Also swearing is par for the course mate.
@lukeeldridge Cheers Luke, yeah mate, I love the progress I've made keeping Hopper under control, he has a way of getting away from you, as for swearing, I'm 52 years old and I don't think I have ever said the F word in front of my Dad, I guess I am apologising to those who find it distasteful, I do want to be myself though, I am not a fake and if the odd swear word comes out, like you say, par for the course ✌️😉 Thanks for watching 👀 and commenting Brother 👍
G'day Juddy, excellent effort mate, just getting after it that's what it's all about. cheers 🤙
@mrwill1969 thanks Mr Will, yeah it was a great day out with Josh, definitely one of my favourites 🙏☺️
Excuse me, while I whip this out.....😂😂
I knew someone out there had a dirty mind... 😁
@@holisticaustralia Maybe, but Cleavon Little is on a rerun of The Rockford Files as I read this reply!!
@@robbieandbeckie good ol James Garner, I dont get the humour as it has been years since I have seen that show
@holisticaustralia Whip this out, a reference to the movie Blazing Saddles where Cleavon Little played the Sheriff. That was probably his most memorable line. I would think you would have to watch the unedited original version to get full comedic value. Another unrelated but very funny comedy routine, and legendary in my locale, is Roy D Mercer phone ass whoopin's. Check those out if you get a chance. My favorite routine is when he calls a pawn shop to complain about a mink coat he bought for his wife Irma Jean, but it was infested with head lice. It will have you in stitches, I guarantee!!!
Nice one Juddy and great editing. I (recently learnt) know the struggle of getting the video from one camera to match the audio from the second camera to match up (no matter how many hand claps you do 😁) Josh is the master of that single track (and fitness) stuff, you and Hopper did great mate. Cheers mate 🍻
Cheers Mike, I had a ball mate, so good having these beautiful places in our backyard, we are truly blessed ☺️and to have good company is even better. Thanks for watching 👀 and commenting Brother 🙏
Very cool Juddy. Giving it a red hot go.
Thanks Simo, getting there mate 👍 thanks for saying G'day 🙏😊
It was a bit slippery out there Juddy! Hopper is like a tractor! Hey is that your throttle cable hanging down or something to do with the switch gear? Looks like it could get yanked off by a stick or something. Just an observation mate! Cheers.
Heya Grant, yeah mate, it is my hand grip heater, essential for the cold comutes, I don't know how I ever got on without them, I really should pin it back somehow, I see it being a problem too mate. How you been Brother? I'm hoping to head up your way in August
@@holisticaustralia I've been ok mate just freezing my nuts off! I've had heated grips on one bike before and didn't find them much help, maybe they've got better nowadays? I'm not up, I'm down in Melbournistan!
@@CRFLAus ahah! Must be another CRF 😁
Nice easy ride mate, unlucky in that rut!! Always safer to ride the rut Juddy!! That’s Belthorpe area isn’t it? What’s the name of the road you’re on?
Hey Luke, yeah that's Conondale NP it's neighbours with Belthorpe NP , yeah I got a little side tracked, I was talking to you guys and lost my concentration, all of a sudden I have legs in the air 😊 Grigor road at Conondale end, Goodla Road my end, that's the Belthorpe end.. Thanks 🙏 for Watching 👀 and Commenting Luke 👍
@@holisticaustralia I thought that was the route. I hunt below in the conondale area so know it well enough
We got our tickets early!!!
Lol R&B, I am trying to space out my films as I need to make some more content 😅 to keep the channel rolling
Looks like some rough terrain.
It really was a great day Larry, I got to push my boundaries, the nobbies were awesome and Hopper didn't miss a beat.. thanks for watching 👀 and commenting 😉🙏
@@holisticaustralia you got it bro. I took my KLR out a couple weekends ago and road for 8 hours on the dirt and sand. Even had a few spills I got on video 🤣
Loved every bit xx You sure have a beautiful property mate
Thanks fz, 🙏 I appreciate it
G'day Juddy. I enjoy watching your videos and listening to your take on the world , always some sage advice for young players . Good weather good mates out on the bikes with a few brews at the end doesn't get much better than that . Cheers brother 🤙
Thanks so much Mr. Will, 🙏 you always give me a lift mate, very much appreciated ✌️😊
I don't know how I missed all your videos! Anyway, I hope JD is recovering well.
Mate it's a complex world youtube, well not really, the algorithm takes you to places that interest you, that's why I like it, next thing your binging sv delos vids that you haven't watched in years. Pity google own it hey...
JD is going good...

Bloody cracker of a day Juddy and really well done with the voiceover and footage you managed to salvage man. And thanks for the kind words bro I'm proud to call you a mate 🙏 Even after roosting me ya cunt 😝😘
Some big hills in that forestry area Juddy, good to see I'm not the only one to say NAH to some of them 😁😁Shame about your camera not working mate, keep up the good content Juddmiester, cheers 👍🍻
Yes mate, there is no shame in knowing your limits, well that's what I tell myself anyways 😉 anybody else, I call a girls purse 🍻thanks for taking the time to watch and commet Mike, I don't get as many views as you do mate, you must be doing something right 😊👍
@@holisticaustralia Thanks Juddy, I might get more views now and then but you get more subscribers mate 👌ps, did we go down that steep part of Goudla road on that overnighter to your place ? cheers 🍻
@MrXrssv1 No mate, I didn't think it wise, Josh wanted to do it, It doesn't even look that bad, I am sure I have ridden down worse on a pushy, but it is slippery, off camber and had me bluffed
Juddy asked me to post a KLR clip. Now I have over 100 subscribers. Who would have thought that!!! Put me down for a 3X Kwakka Sake shirt, Juddy. We are behind you all the way.
Woohoo! Go R&B, I guess I will have to design one Brother ✌️😉
Got to be careful of those shoulder falls. As we get older those collar bones get more brittle.
Yeah mate, I felt it that's for sure, I felt like a dick having my body armour on the back of the bike, thanks for watching 👀 and commenting Soilsman 😉👍
Great advice there Juddy-san. There's a beauty in riding alone, I love riding alone more but I also like riding with mates. It's 2 different things and people should do both. There's people who will not go for a ride because nobody else can go, and I'll never understand that. And then there's guys like you and Joshua-san who go deep into the bush sending it like a true rōnin warrior, all alone battling orb spiders and the odd Yowie. Cheers brother!
😅😂😅 Yeah Grant, absolutely, nothing better than the serenity and feeling of adventure when riding solo, it is a primal experience, the need for discovery and satisfying our curiosity. I guess riding down a steep, knarly hill, with no regard for personal safety is not wise at all, I guess common sense rules even though it isn't all that common these days. Lastly it is so easy to get turned around and get lost, I have been lost before and it's not a good feeling, going in circles is inevitable, panic sets in and that's when I wished I had just payed attention, stayed on the track and brought more water 💧
Thanks for watching and commenting Brother, it means alot ✌️☺️
Stay gorvy dopy my dude an i like the content
Thanks Beatz, much appreciated 👌😉
Turn around and go back up 😊
Twas late mate, I went up a few weeks before, good on ya Simo 👍
Nice Juddy, shame about Hopper chucking you off but you beat "That Bloody Hill" 👍, bit like me mate, we aint getting any younger, cheers mate 🍻🍻rest and recuperate
Yeah mate, one day ata time mate, just spent a couple of days with my feet up, my neck feels heaps better..😅
Nice footage!
Beckie will usually trash my old britches before theey get that bad!!😂
Glad you got some good tires, they make the difference. I had to replace the rear tube on the KLR a couple weeks ago. I had a new Shinnko 700, (was advertised on Ebay as a 244) and I put it on with the new tube and rimstrip. I have been riding the DR650 last couple weeks, maybe I will get back on the KLR this week and put the 700 to the test. Hope you get healed up soon, my friend!
Good stuff R&B, I've never been happier, Hopper has come alive with the new shoes, doing stuff we haven't been able to do before... Thanks for watching 👀 and commenting mate, I'll be back up the bush soon hopefully 👍 🙏
Jeebus Juddy that was a fair dismount bloke! Hope your on the mend, you cant keep a good man down💪 Awesome to see youve conquered your nemesis mate . Cheers 🍻
G'day Mr.Will, yes finally made it down, my but cheeks were flapping that's for sure, yeah mate it didn't look like a big stack but I knew right away I had done some damage, hoping it will heal fully however I have a feeling I've done some damage, one of the reasons I do what I do is because I got a time limit, I guess we all do, Ankalising spondalitis is the culprit, chronic pain and restriction of movement has forced me to get out There and live before it's too late, I love my second childhood, gotta make the most of what we got before we lose it, thanks for watching 👀 mate, so cool to have you on board...🙏😊👌
Way to rodeo, Juddy!!
Lol, yeah it was hardly an 8 second ride was it 🤣 so stupid, I had a ball that day tearing up the bush and here a soft stop ends up bucking me off, I guess it is what it is, better than throwing your leg over Chainsaw I guess 😉
You can do it
Absolutely 💯 😊👍
Fkn heck that 360 camera makes goodla look like a flat dirt highway hey 🙈 good stuff jb hope ya feel better soon mate, dunno how much the body armour would have helped with that one tho!
Cheers Josh, The shoulder pads support my neck and helmet believe it or not, like one of those neck sausages, maybe it would of prevented the whiplash, but then again.. maybe not 😅 thanks for watching my Brother 🙏
Give this man support
Why Thankyou Diana, much appreciated 🙏
nice Juddy
🍻cheers my Brother 👌😊
Juuudddyyy 😒🍺
Big MIKE! How's it going mate?
@@holisticaustralia All good Juddy, cold starts in the mornings, 🥶🥶🍻🍻
Yeah the joys of being Australia's best postie 😅
He who hesitates, masturbates 😁 Nice one mate hope you're not too sore
Jeez Juddy that was a decent tumble. Murphy's law rules every damn time eh? Pop that protection in next time mate! I hope you'r not too sore for too long. I like the future Juddy chiming in with some text on the video, pretty funny! Cheers fella!
Cheers Grant, Thanks for watching and commenting Brother 🙏 life's good mate, even if I'm a dick... hope your travelling well mate 😊👍
Keep on Kwakka
✌️😊R&B
OK So 😂😎 on ya Judddy
Thanks Mike! 🙏 🍻
Thanks Mike 🙏
What a sweet sound!!
G'day R&B, long time no see, it is a sweet sound ✌️😊 definitely stopped the chatter....
The very last bit of audio; why’ve I got a bolt left over? 🤔😩🤷♂️🤣🤣🤣
You made it right to the end mate 👏 I actually did a wee right after I turned the camera off, I decided to leave the audio of that experience in, then I realised it was probably a bit crass so I did the voice over the top, the audio of the bolt left over was earlier, I thought it would make a good ending, I doubted anyone would get that far.. thanks for helping me out Calum with the comment and for watching 👀 all the way, very much appreciated 🙏😊
@@holisticaustralia I might have rested my eyes a little during this episode but I assure you that I was still listening 😉 hahahaha
Yeah I do the same mate, you tube puts me off to sleep every 😴 night 🌙
Phew I did make it to the end mate... shit what a big job 😬 The struggle was real, sorry ya missed out on your own ride but we'll make up for it 🤙 cheers
Cheers Josh! Thanks for watching 👀 mate, and commenting 👍 Yes it was a traumatic experience 😅 Nah not really, just a process that anyone with half a brain could accomplish, I proved that! See you soon Brudda.. ✌️😉
G'day Juddy , mammoth effort mate, perseverance is the key especially on such a big job, well done 🍻👍
Thanks Mr Will, yes once you've done it it doesn't seem that bad, I had overtightened the starter gear/rotor, I took it for a test run and it was fine until I opened Hopper up a bit and then I heard this sickening sound, luckily I pulled up immediately, I thought I had seized the motor, I pushed the bike home with all these voices in my head saying not very nice things, I let the boys know I was out, I couldn't make the ride. Mate I went to bed feeling like an idiot, I pulled it down next day, tourqed it about 40nm less, put him back together and He was brand new again, I expect I could probably do it with my eyes closed now ✌️😉 thanks for watching 👀 and commenting Brother 🙏
Nice work Juddy, So what did you find the torque specs needed to be for the Gen 3 bolt ? ill do mine at some point. PS - I got there ! :)
Good one Bro, Eagle Mike says 145 ft pounds, this equates to 197nm, it was way too tight, so I dropped it to 180nm, still too tight, I ended up settling on 170nm, that is still tight however the starter gear spins freely, I think they do differ, if I had my time over I would have settled on 176nm. Interestingly, the gen one spec was 130ft pounds and that equates to 176nm, Cheers Oli ✌️😊
OK so, I'm going to pull my bike apart tomorrow to find the Doohickey. If by chance it doesn't have a Doohickey I will find or grow one myself.
Lol Bro, A must have on a KLR 650 mate. I believe it is the most Googled word in history, that would make the KLR 650 the most googled bike 😉👍
