- It all started in the Glasshouse Mountains.
I was chatting with my friend Josh, I was explaining how my investment in my TH-cam channel was growing and I wasn't sure where to turn next. What I was sure of was I didn't want to troll social media, I wanted the growth on my channel to be genuine interest in my content. Josh mentioned, " yeah they call that organic growth", I was like, I like organic (;{~
Josh said that my content was interesting otherwise he wouldn't watch it, he said I had flare and the only way to move forward is to invest in my interest, or words of that nature, hey it rhymes so I'm running with it. During this conversation it became clear the tools I had for the job were ok, however, my cameras were state of the art! 15 years ago, the image stabilisation was almost non existent, GoPro Hero 3's, the image quality was below standard and no one is going to sponsor me to upgrade my stuff as we all have to invest in our own growth, we have to just keep at it and enjoy the process.
I walked away from that conversation with the understanding that I have to take my content to the next level, if I am serious about my channels growth, I would have to get some new gear. I had made a decision I didn't want to spend any money until I knew I was serious and I wanted to keep doing this. I made up my mind, I am serious about leaving my mark on this world, to leave a legacy for my children and grandchildren, to show them that you can do anything you set your mind to, infact, show the world "You Can Do It", in a Latino accent, this is my mantra in life, never give up, no matter what!
Ok.... So... pay in 4! You can do it! Research... insta 360 has a sale... 2 cameras, the RS 360 pack, buy it and try it! Ok, so you only get one working camera at a time, grab another single and you have 2 cameras and a spare lense 🤔
What else?... what else can take my content to the next level?
A drone... Research... DJI has a sale, Air 3 Flymore Combo! Now that makes a statement, I jolly well better be serious...
Research... How... watch more, learn more, @MVDBR @MrXrssv1 @eveRide @TedNemeth to name a few, so many more, these guys truly inspire me...

Ted said to try something simple, pick a subject and film it for 30 days, don't worry that it may be boring because you will find more and more subject matter from this exercise, just show up and shoot.
I am very blessed to live in a picturesque valley surrounded by the most magnificent mountains, well hills to the majority of the world's eyes. I choose this valley as my subject, I will try and do it justice. The movie itself is done in the order of the way I recorded it to show the progression of my filmaking, In the beginning I found my movements were too quick and showed up on film as very jittery chaotic vision, every time I shot the footage I would up load it and study what I could do better.
Many hours later....
We have this not so perfect 23 minute film, I originally wanted to narrate this piece, however after editing and spending so many hours preparing this film, I wanted to put music to it and see how that would go.. yes it's long, and it is the same subject, that was the brief, however I do believe it shows 4 seasons of my favourite place in the world, my home...I am so pleased with the feeling, the movement and the subject matter, many thanks ☺️ to all who have supported me in this effort to make something out of nothing.

Cheers Mr Will, I have had this sitting in my editor for a few months, I just did a bit here or there, it does show a progression in my work, as it was in order, from when I first got the drone, very shakey and random, no ND filter, then started to concentrate on smooth movements and picking up specific movements that seem to work on film, I am glad I finally got it up on TH-cam, I am looking forward to my next project.. thanks for watching 👀 and commenting 🙏 Mr Will

Juddy my bruvva from anuvva muvva... when we had that conversation I was kinda thinking just upgrade your helmet camera to enable you to get some sweet video and audio, but I'm glad to see you embracing it all and going in balls deep, if it's a passion it's always money well spent. But at the end of the day it's your personality that people enjoy and will keep coming back for. Keep it up ya fuckin champignon #nohomo 🍻
